You know things are squirrely when you find yourself listening to a rather unorthodox presentation of political events and agreeing with Russell Brand.
Someone shared this with me asking for my opinion. The presentation is a little over-the-top, but the message conveyed is ultimately accurate; remarkably so. WATCH:
.
Brand is showing a lot of the moderate left and the America First right that the powerful have divided us so that each side of the Uniparty bird takes ownership of a portion of a group of Americans who actually have more in common than they want us to believe. They do not want us putting our heads together and coming up with solutions upon which we can all agree.
And more importantly, actual solutions.
Our political system became a two headed Leviathan. One head was blue, one was red. They circled the water hole and drank. The red one pretended to be red, white and blue to it’s constituency…but accepted water from the more powerful blue head. Eventually, the citizens began to wake up and realize there was limited water for them, that the water was being taken by Leviathan. The citizens need to realize that Leviathan will not just walk away from that water hole. He must be pushed. He will say anything, maintain any lie, deny any challenge, to drink just one more day. The quicker the citizens give themselves the steel to push Leviathan away from that water hole, the quicker the crisis will pass.
Bingo!
That 33 on his wrist is interesting. He also seems to know a lot about American politics. More behind Mr Brand than we can see. 😎
His latest is good too.
I love the guy.
I’ve noticed that Russell Brand is red pilling himself one interview and commentary at a time.
Me too! Each time I see one of his podcasts he goes further right. I love it!
“Prussia is not a state which possesses an army, but an army which possesses a state”

Thoroughly Modern Milley must be jealous of the fashion sense displayed here.
Why not watch it in a movie. I call it how to finance your WAR for the beginners.
The International
2009 action thriller film directed by Tom Tykwer and written by Eric Warren Singer. Starring Clive Owen and Naomi Watts, the film follows an Interpol agent and an American district attorney who jointly investigate corruption within the IBBC, a fictional merchant bank based in Luxembourg. It serves organized crime and corrupt governments as a banker and as an arms broker. The bank’s ruthless managers assassinate potential threats, including their own employees.
The most memorable line in that movie for me was, “The difference between truth and fiction is that fiction has to make sense.” The screenwriter of that line earned whatever he got paid.
That almost sounds like a plot out of a Brad Thor or Vince Flynn action thriller.
re: “within the IBBC”
Looks like “BCCI” scrambled, on purpose … BCCI (Bank of Commerce and Credit International) was the bank associated with Jimmy Carter and associates (cronies) back when …

Thanks for reminding me, need to track that one down for a rewatch – it’s very good.
Now, based on what I have seen, the GDP for America must be falling through the floor. Anyone, have reliable data on this subject?
A good question. I don’t have the answer, and suspect an accurate number would be at best marginally useful unless behind a paywall of some sort.
I can say with confidence, based on long term reliable sources, that capital inflows to the U.S. remain strong. All ‘official’ economic data is trash, but if you know how to interpret the trash, it can be useful.
Fundamentally the U.S. economy and all its components remain humming along by momentum. This momentum appears however to be the momentum of having gone off a cliff….
Search Russell Brand Puts Morning Joe in his place. Its a good clip of him taking the show over during what was supposed to be a promo.
OH yeah … this is must see ‘TeeVee’ –
No kidding. Thank you. I’ve recognized Russell Brand’s brilliance. I’ve never seen him be so rightly impatient with moronic behavior.
Love Russell.
The photo of the handshake: looked thru the comments and can’t find anyone discussing it.
What is the story behind the part in the circle? If I guess, I’m probably wasting time.
I saw it somewhere else explaining it’s a masonic handshake.
Thank you SL.
Only real trouble with that accusation is it is definitely NOT a masonic handshake. There are numerous grasps, or handshakes that are part of Masonry, this is not one of them.
Masonic handshake. The Free Masons aren’t an innocent boy’s club. I remember knowing a guy who belonged to them and was into WWII reenactment. They said once the last vet dies, they’ll revise history to show that Japan was oppressed by America which led them to attacking Pearl Harbor.
Why wait for the vets…they are not monolithic on this…as a VN vet I have learned how badly we were used in that war, but of course, while you’re in it you go along, even enthusiastically…but when I found out more years later about JFK, the Gulf of Tonkin and of course McNamaras book, it kind of woke me up…
For anyone at all interested in the scholarship of our “world wars”there can be no question that we provoked Japan, and much more, culminating in prolonging the war in Europe by two or three years. Not good.
If China has not proven itself to be an enemy of the United States by making the COVID-19 non-vaccine and thereby helping to kill millions of people. Then what is an enemy? And why not trigger the “1917 Trading with the Enemy Act“? $$$$!
Trading with the enemy: How could Trump force US firms to quit China?
By Andrea Shalal and Joel Schectman
August 24, 2019
Hours after China announced retaliatory tariffs on US goods on Friday, President Donald Trump ordered US companies to “start looking for an alternative to China, including bringing your companies HOME and making your products in the USA”.
The stakes are high: US companies invested a total of $US256 billion ($379 billion) in China between 1990 and 2017, compared with $US140 billion Chinese companies have invested in the United States, according to estimates by the Rhodium Group research institute.
1917 Trading with the Enemy Act
A far more dramatic measure, albeit highly unlikely, would be to invoke the Trading with the Enemy Act, which was passed by Congress during World War One.
The law allows the US president to regulate and punish trade with a country with whom the United States is at war. Trump is unlikely to invoke this law because it would sharply escalate tensions with China, said Wu.
“It would be a much more dramatic step to declare China to be an enemy power with which the US is at war, given the president has at times touted his friendship with and respect for President Xi (Jinping),” said Wu.

The problem is that we funded the gain of function experiments in Wuhan from USA tax money. How is it possible that we are funding biological warfare projects in China who is supposed to be our enemy? HMMMM!
I love this guy but can only take him in small doses. I don’t know when he transitioned into political commentary, but he makes a lot of solid points. I’m looking forward to his WEF Smackdown. And why is Chris Wray attending?
One nitpick. He read a statement from his source (early in the podcast) that the Dems/Left in USA are opposed to China/CCP/XI Jinping. That is 100% not true.
I now find myself in agreement with the Left who:
Opposed Bush’s militarization of intelligence with the Patriot Act,
Said the War on Terror will turn those guns on us,
Warned that Citizens United will destroy our republican form of government.
Too bad practically everyone in the Left who was in agreement with you upon those items now no longer agrees either with you or with their former selves…
Was Trumps insistence on building back the military an appeasement? Remember it was the democrats who were “under funding” our military. Are you as confused as I am.
On 9/11, I went to work after watching the attack that morning. One of the guys I worked with was saying ‘Great. Now we get another war.’ I was so upset with his statement at that time. How could he think like that? We were just attacked and we should be at war. We should be bombing the middle east into the stone age.
21 Years later, I know the that leftist guy was right. We have all been manipulated at one time or another into following our government down whatever path they chose without questioning the true intentions.
All our wars after Kennedy died have been long, drawn out affairs. Who benefits? Who is getting paid?
Russell is good for younger people. He can cut through the BS in an entertaining fashion.
I remember being very concerned about the Patriot Act.
But I thought Bush, if not brilliant, was a “good guy.”
Wow – how wrong was I?
How many lies we have been sold.
It reminds me that possibly the single best Trump effect was to pull that veil back. Hard.
I intend to include a link. The link is to a website named ‘moon of Alabama’.
Known as MOA in some rather prominent intelligence communities. Another valuable source of information specifically focused on WW3 is ‘the vinyard of the saker’.
I do understand that the general public isn’t ready for the truth….
But at what point does it become ready?
WTF will it take?

Maybe I missed it in the comments.
Nothing said about this.
What is the “hand shake” about?
I call him the hippie Jesus, lol.
We saw what they did with the manufactured fake covid crisis. People dying too.
Imagine what they can do with the “War in Ukraine” fake crisis?
Russell Brand each day gets more and more red pulled and he is bringing Timothy Robbins along with him.
GOD works through us all for HIS will and good, irregardless of us being believers or not.
It’s not just traditional military war. It’s the climate change war. It’s the war on poverty. It’s the war on future pandemics. Everything is now subjected to a war-footing level response. And the military is increasing getting it’s hands in all of these “wars”.
Russell Brand reaches a lot of young people and it’s helpful. His mocking has helped the younger people do the same , I have observed this first hand. The more we mock and shame these rotten people the less they will be given serious consideration moving forward. I am not saying it’s an answer to the problems but it does help younger people come to a collective census and may give them a chance to break this monster.
He has added a Million more viewers since I started watching him.
You need to pay more attention to Russell Brand. He has been spot on about a number of issues for quite some time now!
I’ve been watching Russell Brand now and then for a year or so. Yes, he’s over the top—he’s an entertainer!—but he is also highly intelligent and has a curious and questioning mind. He, along with other leftists such as Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, and Dr. Naomi Wolf, demonstrates that the former left/right paradigm is no longer useful. On both ends of the political spectrum, people want freedom. They do not want an alliance between corporations and government, nor do they want to be fed lies and propaganda.
Reasonable leftists still have an old-school understanding of what a conservative is that this constitutional conservative finds completely alien. How is it conservative to support huge corporations rather than small enterprises, or factory farms where the animals exist in misery rather than small farms, or foreign wars and CIA meddling in the elections of other countries? How is it conservative to outsource manufacturing to other countries or to support massive illegal immigration?
In fact, I’m finding that I have more political common ground with Russell Brand and Naomi Wolf than I do with most Republicans. This sort of alignment is what terrifies the Uniparty.
I started watching Russell Brand about a year ago, mainly out of curiosity. My immediate reaction was initially — “try to keep up”. I did keep up and found that virtually EVERYTHING he said in his amazing rants could have been written or spoken without change by myself, or could or would have been if I could talk as fast as him.
this ex-leftist (who realizes that the ‘left’ and ‘right’ are out-of-date phrases unrelated to the workings of the government machine was red-pilled by Trump like millions of others who had never before questioned the status quo lies.
(Think Tucker Carlson).
Brand displays a phrenetic style that reeks of lunacy while plunging forward with Truth after Truth after Insight after Enlightenment. I’ve yet to hear a single phrase or idea that I disagree with.
I’m glas you found him, Sundance. He’s actually sharper than Tucker, and that’s high praise indeed.
His delivery is manic but content is spot on. I don’t know any other non-mainstream influencer that could reach the 18-35 yo age group any better. Well done, Russell.
Most of the Republicans are also owned.
The basic question I have is how much of that money is even going towards our military?
