Donald Trump and Elon Musk have something in common….
“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old institution and merely lukewarm defenders in those who gain by the new ones.”
For Elon Musk it is the organization of Twitter with 7,500 employees dedicated to ensuring he would never succeed in his takeover effort. From the board of directors to the data engineers who build the controlling algorithms, to the third-party service providers who manage the data demand, there are likely only a handful of people within the entire corporation who would welcome the type of change Elon Musk represents.
As a result of the scale of opposition, any organizational takeover would ultimately deliver a company filled with sleeper cells and activist agents who consider it their personal and ideological mission to destroy the social media platform rather than accept change. The purchase effort was doomed from the outset, considering Musk represented something akin to Rand Paul being nominated to lead the World Bank or Federal Reserve. Some stuff just isn’t possible.
We The People attempted the Musk route when we sent President Donald Trump into Washington DC. However, instead of one institution with 7,500 people, it was dozens of institutions housing hundreds of thousands of entrenched ideologues. Most MAGA voters did not realize it at the time because grade school civics was never updated with our post-9/11 political outcome.
Imagine what the 7,500 Twitter folks would do as employees within an institution they abhorred overnight. What scale of effort would be exhausted to kill baby Elon Hitler for the greater social good? You don’t have to go too far in your imagination, because that’s exactly how Washington DC reacted to Trump’s arrival.
From day one to day one-thousand-four-hundred-sixty-one, no opposition was too much opposition by anyone, in every institution and every branch – including both wings of the UniParty congress, upper and lower chambers.
The threat that Trump represented needed to be managed, attacked and ultimately removed. There were/are trillions at stake, and keep in mind, DC is the epicenter of the global financial universe. As a result, the financial foot-soldiers of almost every western nation were aligned to assist the DC system in removing the threat.
Sometimes I laugh at the hindsight of people who say Donald Trump had terrible judgement in his appointments. I snicker because these are the same people who said General James “Mad Dog” Mattis was the greatest military leader since George Washington. How did that role as defense secretary work out?
No wait, Trump could have done a better job against the 74,000 people in the United States Dept of State, extending like metastatic cancer around the globe from their primary origination point in foggy bottom DC.
Oh, I’m sure the Ron DeSantis advocates have a plan for that, just as assuredly as they can jump to the typeset to instruct Musk how to modify the personnel outlooks of the social media network. Something that involves the multi-billion global media corporations folding up shop to shift their ideological compass headings, right?
Maybe free cookies will help the kids who work 3 hours a week, smile as they adjust to a 40-hour expectation.
I’m told that Donald Trump also planned badly to take over the 90,000 employees and $8.7 billion payroll at the U.S. Dept of Justice. Trump should have listened to the advice of the esteemed and well-regarded senior Senator from deep red Alabama, Mr. Jeff Sessions, who was also praised effusively by the same conservative crowd who praised the Mad Dog. If only Trump had installed a great stalwart for conservative principles like Sessions. Alas, we lost the opp… wait, huh, no.. wait,.. I mean, what?
Former UN official Ric Grenell was awesome as the “acting” Director of National Intelligence. If only President Trump had nominated Grenell from the outset, instead of that insufferable DC insider from the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Dan Coats, things would have been so much better.
With an ODNI confirmation from the same senate intelligence group that was trying to block Trump from ever reaching Washington DC, things would have been awesome. Hey, why is that “Acting” word always in front of Grenell anyway? Oh, wait, the “Republican” committee members wouldn’t what?
Alas, if Trump had only done a better job of hiring the 2,400 people who work for the White House, he would have avoided all of those horrible stealth terror cells who were in place to facilitate his removal. Surely it wouldn’t have taken him that long to go through the candidate pool and interview everyone willing to live within a 100-mile radius of the epicenter of morality and truthfulness known as Washington DC.
And boy did President Trump ever screw up with his 400+ staff National Security Council, who report to the National Security Advisor and come from every executive agency, including intelligence, to deliver wholesome and practical advice to the oval office holder they hated.
I’m sure Musk has a better plan to manage the Silicon Valley coders who design the algorithms at the Twitter. I mean, Musk and Ron DeSantis being all smarter than Trump would have a plan for stuff, right?
Speaking of “intelligence”, what was candidate Donald Trump thinking when he selected former Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his vice-presidential running mate? I mean everyone in the republican sphere of conservative politics hated Mike Pence in 2015 and 2016, knowing his conservative bona fides were a mask just waiting to drop and create havoc for the America-First agenda. I mean it’s not like everyone didn’t know Mr. Pence surrounded himself with liars, fabricators and political club staff who hated the Tea Party base. We all knew that in 2015 and 2016, right?
If only Donald Trump had hired the right kind of people within his administration, then the multinational global corporate media would not have needed to treat him like he was the walking personification of the antichrist. A few people here, and a few different people there, and everything would have gone swimmingly.
Many people know -to a demonstrable certainty- that Ron DeSantis has, right now, a list of about 200,000 people ready to move themselves directly into Washington DC and finally change the system for the better. I am certain this list exists because all the right crowd in conservative media tell me they are sure of it.
These betters are the people who would know such things because they knew Senator Ted Cruz was the reformist lightbringer in 2015. The word is that DeSantis uniquely carries the power to replace every corrupt republican member of the House and Senate simply by raising his chin a certain way when the sunlight glistens upon him.
It was the Fourth Quarter of 2019…..
….despite two years of doomsayer predictions from Wall Street’s professional punditry, saying Trump tariffs on China would create massive inflation…. It wasn’t happening!
Overall year-over-year inflation was hovering around 1.7 percent [Table-A BLS]; that was our inflation rate. The rate in late 2019 was firmed up with less month-over-month fluctuation, and the rate remained consistent. [See Below]
A couple of important points. First, unleashing the energy sector to drive down overall costs to consumers and industry outputs was a key part of President Trump’s America-First MAGAnomic initiative. Lower energy prices help the worker economy, middle class and average American more than any other sector.
Which brings us to the second important point. Notice how food price had very low year-over-year inflation, 0.5 percent. That is a combination of two key issues: low energy costs, and the fracturing of Big Ag hold on the farm production and the export dynamic:
(BLS) […] The index for food at home declined for the third month in a row, falling 0.2 percent. The index for meats, poultry, fish, and eggs decreased 0.7 percent in August as the index for eggs fell 2.6 percent. The index for fruits and vegetables, which rose in July, fell 0.5 percent in August; the index for fresh fruits declined 1.4 percent, but the index for fresh vegetables rose 0.4 percent. The index for cereals and bakery products fell 0.3 percent in August after rising 0.3 percent in July. (link)
For the previous twenty years food prices had been increasingly controlled by Big Ag, and not by normal supply and demand. The commodity market became a ‘controlled market’. U.S. food outputs (farm production) was controlled and exported to keep the U.S. consumer paying optimal prices.
President Trump’s trade reset was disrupting this process. As farm products were less exported the cost of the food in our supermarket became reconnected to a ‘more normal’ supply and demand cycle. Food prices dropped and our pantry costs were lowered.
The Commerce Dept. then announced that retail sales climbed by 0.4 percent in August 2019, twice as high as the 0.2 percent analysts had predicted. The result highlighted retail sales strength of more than 4 percent year-over-year. These excellent results came on the heels of blowout data in July, when households boosted purchases of cars and clothing.
The better-than-expected number stemmed largely from a 1.8 percent jump in spending vehicles. Online sales, meanwhile, also continued to climb, rising 1.6 percent. That’s similar to July, 2019, when Amazon held its two-day, blowout Prime Day sale. (link)
Despite the efforts to remove and impeach President Trump, it did not look like middle-class America was overly concerned about the noise coming from the pundits. Likely that’s because blue-collar wages were higher, Main Street inflation was lower, and overall consumer confidence was strong. Yes, MAGAnomics was working.
Additionally, remember all those MSM hours and newspaper column inches where the professional financial pundits were claiming Trump’s tariffs were going to cause massive increases in prices of consumer goods?
Well, exactly the opposite happened [BLS report] Import prices were continuing to drop:
This was a really interesting dynamic that no-one in the professional punditry would dare explain.
Donald Trump’s tariffs were targeted to specific sectors of imported products. [Steel, Aluminum, and a host of smaller sectors etc.] However, when the EU and China respond by devaluing their currency, that approach hit all products imported, not just the tariff goods.
Because the EU and China were driving up the value of the dollar, everything we were importing became cheaper. Not just imports from Europe and China, but actually imports from everywhere. All imports were entering the U.S. at substantially lower prices.
This meant when we imported products, we were also importing deflation.
This price result is exactly the opposite of what the economic experts and Wall Street pundits predicted back in 2017 and 2018 when they were pushing the rapid price increase narrative.
Because all the export dependent economies were reacting with such urgency to retain their access to the U.S. market, aggregate import prices were actually lower than they were when the Trump tariffs began:
[…] Prices for imports from China edged down 0.1 percent in August following decreases of 0.2 percent in both July and June. Import prices from China have not advanced on a monthly basis since ticking up 0.1 percent in May 2018. The price index for imports from China fell 1.6 percent for the year ended in August.
[…] Import prices from the European Union fell 0.2 percent in August and 0.3 percent over the past 12 months.
The outlines you make here arent wrong but they are what happened. How and why would you think the second time around will be any different? Honest question. You say its impossible to do anything about this stuff so why even bother. I will vote for trump or desantis, whoever is the nominee. Trump would do well to stop with the petty social media attacks. Does him no good and makes him look petulant.
no mean tweets ever again ? that’s the way to go , right ? petulant no .. we want a reach across the chasm & throw great cocktail parties for the swamp critters ? ah for comity and good fellowship..as the ship of state stinks and sinks ever faster
I liked his tweets.
President Trump speaks from his heart, mind and soul, not a teleprompter with added directions to “Repeat” and “Emphasize,” as one fool does in his outbursts.
Trump delivers responsible, extemporaneous expressions!
How bloody refreshing!
“Does him no good and makes him look petulant” … well that seems a little petty & petulant 🙂
Actually, I luuvvvvv when President Trump posts on social media!
Oh, yes. These high fuel and food prices (not to mention the plans to starve us or enslave us) are SOOOO much better than Trump’s “mean tweets.”
Do I really need the “s/” tag?
Perhaps read Swans lengthy and detailed two part Axios article to get an overview answer to your “question”.
Of course, President Trump has been working since 2017 to ultimately defeat the Swamp.
Florida Ron may turn out to be a competent manager of Trump visionary MAGA Project if our Republic survives and Trumps able to complete his MAGA pRoject.
Or, by 2028, someone else will emerge who will be a better choice.
Right now I’m FOCUSED on helping President Trump Save America from the Global Death Cult psychopaths.
Indulging in Anti Trump CONservative fuelled speculation about finding a bEttEr, less diViSiVe candidate, is intended to be a Fatal Distraction. I’m not taking their psyop bait.
Mean Tweets with a punch in the Face! No more Mr. NICE Guy
Don’t like ’em don’t read ’em. Pretty simple.
I’d prefer the rational discourse route as well, but we are literally taking fire – fire back! This high-road mentality is long past b/c it only gives them cover (grey area) to fester and operate. Take notes here pls.
Note that President Trump doesn’t arbitrarily present a social media attack. He responds.
Petty is not being honest about that.
Not to mention -President Trump is often quiet funny in his response and I do so love to laugh.
Sounds like you’re a “turn the other cheek so I can hit that one” type of person. NOT for me, thanks…. On With The Tweets!
Let Trump be Trump he did the best at the Economy than anyone in my lifetime
I like it when economy is rolling along nicely.
Trump don’t bother me, why does he bother people so much.
Im thinking Trump is not the problem here perhaps its those people.
Exactly. I do not need the polite society for my family’s success, I need the economy and the legal system to work properly for my family’s survival.
These are some of the reasons a second Trump administration would be much, much more successful.
For the faint of heart, when running an organization as big as a country, you do sometimes have to make tolerate and even make friends with your enemies. So, when he gets behind a candidate who feels like weak MAGA, remember that he is probably making a political move necessary to work effectively within the existing structure. He is excellent at that, quite creative. He got the wall started jumping through many unanticipated hoops and he gave border patrol what they wanted which was not what he initially envisioned.
DeSantis is my governor. I thank God every day for that man. I pray every day for Trump’s reinstatement as my POTUS. DeSantis is not going to run against Trump. He will not split the ticket. He knows the country is at stake. He has young children that he cares about. Trump has young grandchildren that he cares about. So, do I.
“4. He has a plan to deal with them all” -could you provide some confidence in the level of competence and trustworthiness of the people he will hire for this ‘plan to deal with them all’… since one man cannot ‘deal with them all’ without a solid trustworthy unified team who isn’t steeped in compromise/blackmail/bribes. Thanks in advance.
(LINK ===>) Video of Trump at the WEF – note Masonic hand signals
“Put not your faith in men” . . .
Fearful people read conspiracy everywhere, unable to accept that some things are just learned habit. Perhaps the way Trump moves his hand while speaking he picked up from a family member? IF he was a Mason, they would not hide which lodge he belonged to and it would be public knowledge.
His position as POTUS may have required the speeches? Perhaps he was trying to refute their insanity? He is an “in your face” kind of guy, afterall.
But I suppose that God was unwilling for us to receive a reminder of possibilities? We had a whole generation growing up under 8yrs of Obama’s “Your new normal” who got exposed to the reality their grandparents knew. Now more generations understand that our current condition is unecessary.
And here’s the catch: no WEFer pays their way from their own savings.
Trump did – inspired by Iacocca. This was the real “tell.”
Becareful not to conflate hope and gratitude with worship.
Or, maybe he’s a Mason, and in on it.
I have no way of knowing. Trump is very into power, prestige, and himself. And he’s only human. He sure never separated himself from the swamp, didn’t replace them with a few good men, barely did anything better or different. Executive orders are extra-Constitutional, but are used constantly now. Why didn’t he use them? Because he’s such a Constitutional scholar?
Wolves often hide in sheeps’ clothes. If all you hang your hopes for change on are the very system that oppresses you, you’re lost. And why would Trump do better this time if he somehow bypasses Dominion and the Post Office?
Your name is appropriate.
He sure never separated himself from the swamp
Can one fight the swamp from outside?
From what I understand of Masonry you protect fellow Masons, not work to tear down their work, positions and legacies.
Remember the very first thing he did on day one was sign all those EOs that undid the EOs Obama created to rule with a pen and a phone. Trump did sign many EOs, which was why it was so easy to undo so much of what he accomplished.
We did not see (nor did you) the breadth and depth, the true scope of the work in front of We the People to restore our nation. Now that we have a grasp of what is required, many efforts are underway.
No one is putting their hope in the corruption that has overtaken our Constitution.
We are putting our hope in God and this wonderful document that addresses corrupt human nature (via check and balances). We see the need to restore righteous persons into the offices, those who will truly uphold the good system not find ways to get around it.
Wolves often hide in sheeps’ clothes.
It is my opinion that with this phrase you have escribed yourself to a “tee.” You hide behind “righteous criticism” of Trump and those who caught the vision of restoration.
In your view, imperfection is sufficient reason to discard. Are you intentionally ignoring all the efforts and successes occuring at the mulitple local levels of government in our nation? Can you not see that this restored foundation is essential for full restoration to take place when POTUS is returned to office?
Your narrow view and unverified accusations betray your intent.
What rock were you living under from 2016 to 2020?
Facts still exist for those with an interest in them…………
Respectfully Birdbrain, your belief that the rot and corruption in our political class could be cured by one man in one four year term strikes me as naive. Trump’s greatest contributions were to awaken a slumbering population to the extent of the problem, and inspire hope that it may not be too late to fix it.
Before Trump, most of us outside of DC believed the political divide was between Republicans and Democrats. Trump single-handedly exposed the Uniparty Elites, which will forever change the relationship of the parties, particularly the GOP, and their voters.
In four short years, Trump demonstrated how expeditiously large issues like foreign trade, Middle East relations and energy policy can be changed for the better, if the political will exists. Before Trump, most of us believed the lie that these issues were festering wounds that could not be healed because were just too complex.
I respectfully suggest you challenge yourself to try looking at it from a “glass half full” perspective.
He DID use executive orders, how quickly one forgets.
President Trump is NOT a Mason and anyone telling you that those are “Masonic hand signals” is either a duper or one of the duped.
Psyops preying on fearful vulnerables is rampant on alt media sites and will only get worse when President Trump officially declares he’s running.
Please develop psywar savvy to avoid getting hooked by the 24/7 bait.
What is wrong with being a “mason”?
George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and Paul Revere were freemasons.
I’m not a ‘mason’, but I have known some who are ordinary people. I was in a college fraternity. Freedom of association in fraternities/sororities is hated by the socialists, and universities, as alternatives/threats to their top-down rule.
Is that the basis for your apparent dislike of masons, who apparently support self-determination, Republic virtues, peaceful assembly, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion.
Freemasonry has been corrupted by the Fabian Socialists, the original communists, descendants of the synagogue of Satan, the Frankist-Sabbateans.
God used a murderer, an adulterer and a warlock to further his kingdom of Israel. He can use Trump to fix America. Trump is an elite. He is not a member of a secret society. He has been trained to blend in with them. He has strong Jewish ties.
To be honest, fixing America is our job. We just need a POTUS to restrain the globalists enough and long enough for us to fix America.
All that is well and good. I see nothing about allowing unelected bureaucrats to lock down the country and world and administer an experimental gene therapy. He had a huge bully pulpit to go along with his ego. He would spar with CNN reporters but did not stand up for the people, do the proper research. He gave cursory lip service to ivermectin and then backed off quickly when he should have stayed on it. I don’t give a damn about the economy, money makers and what have you props of materialism. There is a truly grave sin committed here and I don’t see any culprit or surrounding entities apologizing or repenting for this sin. He said they were out to get us and he would stand in the way of the slings and arrows. The biggest pointy tipped arrow ever was aimed at the genome of the human race and he did not stand in the way. He brags about it. WTH??? Eff politics. Nobody..and I mean none of them care like they pretend.
Another thing been bothering me about the Revelation prophecies. The wound to the head is the stolen election? The wound will be healed ..re-elected.. Then one steps forward that even the elect will believe to be the one to set the world right but that is the antichrist. Who is that and what person would be hailed as the big fixer? There is one man on the world stage I can point to. Point me out another. It is interpreted he will speak godly things in public and do nasty and evil things in the underlying scheme. Lots of people die. What the hell is going on here?
Trump is not a descendant of Abraham or King David. Both are requirements for the position of The Messiah, which includes the False Messiah / Anitchrist.
I have not heard one person claim that Trump will fix the world. The only thing I see / hear is people wishing him to lead our nation back towards economic health.
Yes, people have booed him when he has promoted the vax at a rally. He should address that issue, but he has not done so yet. You are not alone in being displeased about this. But there is an equation here and everyone has to make their own decision.
Everyone dies. Some believe death isn’t fatal.
Perhaps follow Gods command to FEAR not because He is with you.
Perhaps focus on allowing Him to work with you and through you by keeping your heart filled with His presence. After all, He’s promised that He will turn ALL things to good for those who love Him.
Put on the Whole Armour of God each day so you don’t fall for the devils schemes including psyop bait that preys on fears and doubts.
Please Please Please get yourself to a REAL Bible Study.
Then to some factual information.
I think you took a wrong turn or are Birdbrain in disguise.
Pleazzzzzzzzzze
People like you, Birdbrain, djsnola really annoy me. Where were you all those years ago fighting against the swamp? Were you ever holding the so-called “conservatives” in Congress accountable or just PDJT?
I guess your precious little Ron DeSantis a GOVERNOR who does NOT have to deal with the Republican Uniparty members across the country, the Democrats, the international cabal will do so much better. He’ll just strong arm Schumer and McConnell into submission right?
“Ron DeSantis a GOVERNOR who does NOT have to deal with the Republican Uniparty members across the country”
That’s because he’s a member.
Trump may be a larger than life personality especially at this time but, one problem with your analysis is that he is not hailed as a fixer of anything except by us rabble rouser constitutionalists. The rest of the world and the major media which controls the emotions of the sheep have termed him a racist, xenophobic, dictator who is going to steal our democracy. The fact that Trump actually fixes things doesn’t matter. It is the opinions of the sheep the scriptures refer to not reality as some of us see it. The great fixer of everything is virtually guaranteed in my mind to be a democrat and Obama fits the bill fairly well. Perhaps the lightbringer has a return engagement? He certainly believes himself capable of fixing the world and the world is literally full of people willing to believe him. Trump is a little egotistical for my liking but, I am not at all worried he would like to become king of the world. Actually he probably would but, would be willing to give up the title after his term expired which would disqualify him. As the biggest supporter of Israel this country has seen in quite some time, the title anti christ is extremely unlikely. Where do we see the embrace of everything contrary to the doctrine of Christ? That is on the political left. Ya, he got fooled by the medical establishment but, so did virtually everyone.
Birx admitted in her book that they deceived President Trump about the effectiveness and safety of the jabs. She and Fauci lied to him repeatedly. He is not a doctor. He was not in a position to go against the “science” without solid backing, which he did not have at the time. He had traitor Pence heading up the medical side of things.
Outstanding read!!!!
There IS ONLY ONE maga king,
PRESIDENT
DONALD J TRUMP!!
GREATEST PRESIDENT IN US HISTORY!
GOD BLESS THIS GREAT MAN!
Amen and Amen!!!! I am astonished that people who come here to trash Trump Tweets, of all things. are unaware of the published list of PDJT’s accomplishments while he was constantly being attacked.
This piece is spot on. And I was one of the complainers.
I am now seeing a glimmer of hope in comments that Trump has a plan for massive firing if he is re-elected. I would be further encouraged by two things:
1/ A plan to engage people in closely monitoring elections and who will be ready to get truly violent on *any* sign of cheating. A 2am call to stop counting should be the trigger to burn the place down. No more covering windows, putting observers 100yd away, or pulling out suitcases of votes from under tables.
2/ A call for patriotic Americans to submit their resumes and be prepared to work for peanuts and no benefits to replace the over-paid fired ideologues who need to be swept out.
I have skills accumulated over a 50 yr professional career and I would gladly give them away to help restore this country. I have to believe I’m not alone. We are one of the few remaining sources of strength in this country and we are highly motivated to do everything we can before passing the country off to the next generation. I would personally do any menial job to help.
This is probably our last shot at fixing anything.
One other thing… on appointments… Congress impeded the functioning of the admin last time. It’s time to prepare for a constitutional crisis if that crap happens again. Just tell Congress that the constitution never envisioned Congress completely obstructing an administration. Good faith disagreement with an appointment based on conflict of interest or some other substantial argument is one thing. Refusing to approve for no reason is altogether different and will not be tolerated. They’re willing to shred the constitution and its time to finally recognize that it is the Congress itself which is conflicted.
And one more thing… Trump should encourage the Canadians by telling them we are not going to tolerate a dictatorship on our northern border. One way or another, we will take care of this situation.
Trump “should just tell Congress”. By tweet?
btb567, I love your idea of responsive ACTION. Well said. It is time to take a stand that is assertive. I recall the nonsense I heard regarding the Republican poll watchers in a Philadelphia counting room who were herded outside the room when they complained about not being able to see the ballots! They apparently just accepted it. No more!
President Trump issued this link months ago asking everyone to get involved and to stay involved.
https://theprecinctstrategy.com.
Also https://truethevote.org.
Seek and you WILL find ways to help. EVERYONEs help matters.
We are in a very real world war with humanity despising psychopaths. Our survival is at stake.
Hopefully the Great Awakening President Trump called for and Precipice Awareness motivates more and more Americans to choose to get off the sidelines and FOCUS on doing their part in the Arena battlefield God gave them.
I would too…But now the cats out of the bag and leftists will sneak things in bills and contracts to make sure that never happens – thats how they work. They take things he says very seriously and Republicans will never allow it to happen
I will say again what I said in February 2017: the Government Party had declared Civil War against Trump, and he should have responded by firing every single solitary appointed member in every department of government at every level. Then canceled their security clearances and barred them from government work.
Musk would have had to do the same thing at Twitter while putting in place minders to root out and destroy the fifth column. Now, Twitter is a cancer on society. So frankly, anybody who uses it or tries to put lipstick on it deserves the totalitarianism they are financing through their participation. That being said, Musk could have bought it and DISBANDED it entirely, and in so doing accomplish more for free speech than trying to make it work.
Kill the chicken to scare the monkeys. That was Trump’s failure, and he should own up to it, learn from it, and collect scalps when he wins in 2024.
Real life isn’t a Hollywood movie. Those who still believe it is undermine Trumps ability to succeed in the Real World by being backward gazing armchair critics rather than active helpers and doers.
Please. Fret less. Pray more. Do more.
The Serenity Prayer, easily found on line, can help. Alot.
Newt Gingrich publicly and repeatedly recommended Trump fire them all. Problem is he would not have reliable replacements or worse, moles waiting in the wings to create more havoc for him
No win situation.
Who said anything about replacing them?
My understanding of the Twitter purchase by Musk is that it was conditioned by the fact that the percentage of Bots could not exceed 5% of the total of so called Twitter members. Bots of course being non existing members. Twitter never could and has not as yet provided that info. I believe Musk knew that all along. He is wanting a lower price and rightfully so. Twitter is now suing him to pay up. Unfortunately for them, they will have to comply with that Bot percentage in any trial and that will sink their ship. Some have said the number could be as high as 50%. Win or lose, the stock price will take a big hit and the 7,500 mostly committed lefty employees will soon be seeking other employment. Twitter will never come back from this. Good riddance.
Trump could not legally fire them.
Sundance, I ‘ a fairly new follower of CTH and you. Appreciate your insights, but I am curious as to why you certainly appear to me to be so anti- DeSantis. I am a Trump supporter through and through, but I do believe DeSantis is very much leading in the right direction also. I am a Florida Christian Conservative. Please explain your thinking in a more clear layman way for Mr. Thanks.
Welcome to CTH, you have found the best news analysis in America! I read the same article as you, but I saw it from a different perspective. I did not see that Sundance dislikes or was casting dispersion on Ron DeSantis. He was pointing out the enormity of the opposition Trump faced – human v Leviathan. Replacing Trump with DeSantis will not solve the problems we face today in our nation and in the world. DeSantis is a good man, a competent man, a leader, but the only man who can turn this nation around from the abyss in which we are about to sink is Donald J. Trump. Sundance simply cleared the air for us to see what Trump faced, what he accomplished, and what he will do when he returns to complete the unfitted business that only he can and will finish. Unleash the Lion, the cub will have his day.
He has explained it. Search prior posts.
DeSantis is a Governor of ONE STATE. He doesn’t have the Uniparty across the country meaning BOTH PARTIES let alone the international cabal working against him. DeSantis is being propped up as being so much better to handle situations than PDJT. Easy to look like a star when you only have to deal with ONE STATE.
His ability to run Florida this well stems from his accumulated victories and support from conservatives state wide. That wasn’t an automatic when he ran…it has been acquired, earned and exercised brilliantly. I submit he would take the same tack as President.
Those who say he’s a RINO have nothing to back that up. His policies go AGAINST most RINO initiatives. He backs MAGA conservative candidates down ticket against RINOS backed by their slush money. Those actions are NOT ones a RINO would undertake.
DeSantis also has the ability to attract large percentages of independents/switch voters.
Well said.
Exactly. DeSantis does not have international experience. DeSantis does not have the same amount of name recognition nationally as Trump. If DeSantis ran against Trump, it would just dilute the MAGA voters into two camps. That does not help MAGA.
I agree he only has to govern one state, but it is the third most populous state , and being targeted by the swamp. I do want Trump to finish his part, and then DeSantis can hopefully finish things up for/ with Trump.
I have been on here for maybe two years. So many things Sundance talks about I would think no way not possible. Then you just watch it fall into place as he said it would.
You have to go way back 4 to five years to understand how accurate he really is on things.
Few typos. My apologies. Supposed to say to me. Thanks
“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than a new system. …” Machiavelli
Green NEW Deal
Great RESet
I referenced those because I believe both sides (us/them) have new systems to deal with. Still trying to understand how large each ‘army’ is but I believe a good number of people never gave much serious thought to how the two I referenced would impact them, until now.
Thank you Sundance, crew and brilliant commenters.
Can’t speak for anyone else – but to the “why” question?
Because you can’t fight, fix, change, end, what you can’t see. That’s why. Don’t look away, look, watch, learn, and allow your inner voice, conscience, to be the guide going forward as to what needs to be done to correct the problems.
Sundance, you are the *king* of sarcasm – xoxo… Excellent article!!
I chuckled out loud, ncxplant. AND — The Last Refuge/TheConservativeTreehouse — my Number ONE Internet destination!!!
Thank you Sundance !
I can’t control the many aspects of the issues in this article but I know a small way to stick it to one of the biggest opponents of America First……dying legacy media in newspapers.
One of Trump’s quiet but stellar decisions was raising the tariffs on ink used for newspapers. The ink was imported from Canada. He did this around 2018 if I recall.
It was a great move and caused great consternation from the arrogant newspaper publishers and their blowhard editors.
It was a move that struck right at the heart of the enemy.
The next Republican President needs to make that newspaper ink tariff 300% and further bankrupt those obsolete and arrogant newspaper rags right out of business.
Then, we will have to “up” our support subscriptions to The Epoch Times, to sustain Their Valued existence.
Correction: It was NOT possible for Trump to complete his MAGA Project in his first four years.
Draining the Swamp to reveal what was hidden beneath the surface was part of Phase One.
Removal of the junk thats now been revealed, demolition and restructuring are upcoming Phases.
See Part One and Two of Swans just published Axios article if reassurance is still needed around Trumps genius and commitment to successfully completing his revolutionary MAGA Project.
I definitely agree that the same NeverTrump faction along with the old CONservative purists that supported Ted Cruz in 2016 are now behind trying to push DeSantis into a fight against Trump for the 2024 GOP nomination.
It would be absolutely foolish for DeSantis to do this and I believe he is a very smart man and his day will definitely come if he plots it smartly. But that day is not 2024.
Trump absolutely deserves his 2nd term and he was a very effective president despite the Swamp. In particular in the areas of trade, immigration, the economy, military execution and strategy and overall foreign relations.
He could have done better with the Swamp but he was so busy fighting the Swamp’s constant false charges against him that had real serious consequences (removal from office!) if they succeeded.
I don’t fault him because I believed victory was at hand on that front if he won the 2020 election that was rigged against him in so many was from Big Tech’s influence, the rigged presidential debates, CV19 rule changes and media bias and lack of coverage of Hunter Biden fiasco to say nothing of all the voting irregularities in key battleground states not run by GOP governors (a key reason Trump did win in 2016. GOP had governors in the key states) with the exception of AZ and GA, who’s governors inexplicably allowed for widespread irregularities.
If I had my opportunity to advise Trump because he’s not totally above reproach, I would advise him to focus on 2024 after the 2022 elections. I would advise him to focus on uniting the GOP after the 2022 elections by following Reagan’s 11 commandment.
I would advise him to select a loyal and capable VP candidate like Ben Carson, who will not bar a potential MAGA successor like DeSantis from ascending to the presidency after Trump.
I would advise Trump to really marshal all conservative media and to fight to get his message equal time on all social media platforms as the Dems.
I would advise Trump to properly contrast his term in office with Biden’s term in office in order for the American people to understand the real substantive difference between him and Biden.
And I would advise Trump to campaign more for the popular vote than just focusing on the electoral vote. He needs a popular vote victory! That will mean a very real and effective outreach to minority voters and a tempering of his actions on social media imo. Stop the rank attention seeking that the media can use as fodder to demonize him with his own actions/words.
Rather than spending precious time pretending to be Trumps advisor perhaps start advising YOURSELF on what you will be DOING each day to help win this survival war.
Remember the famous 2015 motto, “Let Trump be Trump”.
Rather than pretend advising President Trump, instead start really praying for him, yourself and us when a fearful feels attack strikes. Or dont. 😘
It didn’t take me but 2 mins to write that comment lol
Trump will have a big hill to climb to win 2024. The stakes are too high for him to fail after this disastrous Biden term. They will not so easily allow Trump to win again. He has to make smart adjustments, especially after the 2022 elections.
The Dems are willing to jettison Biden in order to win in 2024. If in turn, the GOP electorate responds by insisting on Trump, he better come through or this nation is lost!
He just needs to make a few tweaks in his approach imo. It’s just one person’s opinion.
99.999% Cozette!
“Just pray and hope Jesus Jesus magically saves us?”
Not “just pray” but pray zealously.
As Tucker Carlson admitted this week, and as many Treepers have known for a very long time, at its heart this is a spiritual war fought on multiple battlefields.
This morning my Bible opened to Lamentations, Chapter 3. It is worth a quick 5 minutes of your time to read.
If it feels like it accurately describes where we are, and where we are headed, and why, that’s because it does. The cycle repeats.
So.
We fight on the economic battlefield, refusing to buy from Beast allied corporations when possible.
We fight on the political battlefield, running for office and serving as election commissioners and poll workers and video takers of drop boxes.
We fight on the personal battlefield, protecting our independence and our families by building out our little Arcs of food, arms, and community ties.
We fight on the information war battlefield, spreading Truth where there are lies.
We fight on the human DNA battlefield, refusing to take (any more) death jabs, or submit to vaxxport.
Yet all of that, all of that, will prove useless if we fail to put on the full armor of God and know that He is our strong deliverer, who will give us the strength to persevere against the forces of darkness.
Andrew Torba just pointed out a largely unknown piece of history. In 363 AD, Emperor Julian the Apostate restarted the persecution of Christians, and as a part of that, he gave the Jews permission and funds to build the Third Temple, and he put his best friend in charge of it.
The Jews began the work, removing the old stones and digging out the original foundations. All the might of the Roman Emperor supported the effort to prove that Jesus did not build a Third and permanent Temple (that is, his Church) and . . . do you know what happened?
God laughed.
Earthquakes, windstorms, and eruptions of fire put an end to the effort. Lights appeared in the sky in the form of a cross inside a circle. The Second Temple ended up more destroyed than it had been, the very foundations of it removed by the scoffers themselves.
God wins in the end.
I believe Sundance is pointing out how anyone (including DeSantis) will be fiercely resisted when attempting to change the status quo especially in DC.Sundance also reminds us how Trump’s economic plan was working very nicely for Main Street and most of American workers. So do we go with Trump for another round in 2024? Or someone else ? Hmm.I think I know who Sundance favors currently and I agree.
PRESIDENT DONALD JOHN TRUMP!!!!!
The one and only Great MAGA King.
AMERICA FIRST!
Anyone who challenges the swamp will be met with the same fierce resistance that President Trump provoked. It was never about his orange hair or his mean tweets. That’s just so much ENEmedia spin, aka FAKE news, and it galls me to no end that people are ignorant enough to believe it.
The resistance was always about his standing in the gap to protect US. He tried with everything he had to prevent their Great Reset/ New World Order, which was DECADES in the making.
They didn’t just dream all this up after Donald Trump won an election. He tried to save our country and the free world from an unspeakable evil, but that putrid swamp would NOT allow it.
These globalists will never, EVER put up with MAGA patriots, which is why it is IMPERATIVE to drain that swamp immediately!!
I think the Congress can be controlled by a popular president who demands concessions/appointments for every bloated spending bill he signs. As long as it is within the Constitution – Just Do IT.
Thank you Sundance for a informative essay. I’ll forward this to less informed friends and hope they open their eyes. I’m still amazed how lost they feel.
Sundance brings up great points about what sort of monumental task that draining the swamp is. He also did a lot of great things. The Supreme Court and the rising standard of living for working stiffs come to mind. But no one is perfect. He does not mention Trump’s blind spot with ‘rona and being bamboozled by Fauci and company. Also Trump is bad on the alphabet soup agenda.
The other important task is to develop leadership. As this article demonstrates, Trump can’t do it alone. A friendly rivalry between DJT an De Santis great. But no circular firing squads please.
That is TRUMP did a lot of great things.
Either interpretation is o.k. with me… Sundance also has done, and is doing… a lot of great things.

Thank You!
100%agree!
Next time around he will decimate anyone in his path. They’ll play by his rules or they’ll be gone.
One thing I love about our Great MAGA King is how fast he learns and pivots.
Our Very Stable Genius left office with hundreds of appointments stalled in the confirmation process and those people suffered financially and otherwise.
I would LMFAO if a new Trump admin considered of hundreds of “acting” leaders who did their jobs for years under that title.
Our Lion is not just playing golf at Mara Lago.
How mean are these tweets(messages) from our current leaders:
Take this experimental med or be fired.
Your young child will be wearing a mask for the next year.
A girl in your community was just abducted and sold into sexual slavery because the immigration laws are ignored.
Someone in your town will spend months in jail with no opportunity for bail because he/she has a contrarian opinion about the legitimacy of our elections.
We’re here to see your guns because we received an anonymous complaint about your demeanor and no, we don’t have a warrant and there will be no hearing
The voting will start a month before election day and end two weeks after election night.
Your 25 year old, thin athletic daughter or son just had a heart attack or stroke.
Your church is not essential and must be close. Liquor stores, massage parlors and CBD outlets will remain open.
Injected family members should shun the un-injected at Holidays.
A dude in drag will be reading to your grandchild at the library this Saturday.
Buy a Tesla if you cannot afford the fuel for your 8 year old pick up.
I and everyone here could add a thousand to the list.
Isn’t it obscene to even bring up some snarky, entertaining, biting and funny tweets?
EG, thank you! Reading the posts about mean tweets got me thinking ahead to the holiday season. I’ll have to listen to the “Trump needs to pay attention to the suburban young mothers around here (Tx !). They don’t like his tweets and demeanor.”
I needed, until now a strong response to this kind of blather. Your first two on the list are all I’ll need! The rest, ‘gravy’. 👍🏼
Did any of you vote for Congressman Dr. Ron Paul, the “Dr. No” of D.C., either in 2008 or 2012? If not, why not?
If you know anything about him, you know that all of this could have been turned right around by now. We wouldn’t be in this dire situation.
An Air Force surgeon; a practicing ob-gyn who delivered over 4,000 babies; a Constitutional scholar who knows the Constitution and Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence inside out, upside down, and backwards, and had viable Constitutional means to tear down all the corruption and truly “drain the swamp,” and restore this nation to its righteous roots. A scholar of honorable true-value money, whose works on the Federal Reserve and what it had wrought, and the solution to it, was rejected by the sitting president and Congress that had commissioned the work. An honorable public servant who NEVER accepted bribes, who was known as “Dr. No” on the Hill because he never entertained lobbyists. One of only a handful of people who objected to the stupid, petty wars initiated by the corrupt federal government, who stood up and objected to Bush II’s invented Afghan war and the Iraq war.
He had an open Congressional Web site, where anybody could contact him, communicate with him and each other, and he never responded with boiler-plate brush-offs. He was the original founder of the Tea Party, and his popularity and movement were growing so fast the GOP had to get rid of him.
Which they did. And they took over the Tea Party and subverted it. It’s not today anywhere near what it was originally. He drew thousands while all his competitors drew piddling. The media wouldn’t cover him. FoxNews dissed him.
We actually had a chance to be AMERICA again.
But no. Had to go with the popular neocons.
Well, the con worked. And here we are, arguing about stupid things and only getting deeper into the swamp, no matter what.
Why, exactly?
Personally, I think if we were in the least bit serious about getting out of this dangerous morass, we’d be earnestly searching for and promoting and supporting someone as close to Dr. Ron Paul as possible.
Sorry — I don’t have the bell for the cat. I have looked around and really can’t see a viable candidate in Dr. Ron Paul’s mould — at least, though there are some great people like him out there, they’re not running. (And with the popular worship of personalities now, why would they?) Maybe some of you can see better than this old cat? I sincerely hope so. We need someone like him.
I voted for him both in 2008 and 2012. In 2012 I ran as an alternate delegate. I admire him the most most for explaining why he was against abortion to young libertarian supporters and calling out the US gov’s insane foreign policy and useless wars.
However, the swamp would have eaten him alive.
YES! Thank you.
I think he could have handled the swamp. After all, he’d been a Congressman for over a couple of decades. He knew right well how the stinky, ugly, dangerous creatures worked.
I despair of anyone like him even daring to run today. Even on this site, they’d ignore and denigrate and diss him, just because he’s not what they’re familiar with. Even on this site, they are afraid of freedom from and without rulers under some label. The level of indoctrination is high, even here.
It seems no one REALLY wants individual freedom and prosperity and peace. They love their rulers and their fiat money machine, their taxes, and their war machine.
[sigh]
But we can keep searching and writing about what a land without rulers to sacrifice our lives to might be like, and for that person young and knowledgeable and wily enough to take on the swamp! And hope that as things continue to degrade here and now, that a new-born appreciation of what our lives really mean and are for, and how to assure and protect that, will grow and finally defeat the enveloping darkness.
Someone who embodies what Dr. Paul stands for, but is younger and stronger; who can inspire as he did, but more! He is such a kind, gentle, gracious Christian gentleman. I miss him; The Liberty Report is great, but . . . if it’s not Fox or other MSM, few people know about it.
Anyway, thank you. Be well, friend and FREEDOM lover.
“… Oh, I’m sure the Ron DeSantis advocates have a plan for that, just as assuredly as they can jump to the typeset to instruct Musk how to modify the personnel outlooks of the social media network. …”
As much as I love DeSantis, he does not have the personal power or connections of Trump (not yet, anyway). He would do well to wait until another Trump term is over to run for President, so the Donald can put his plan in to action. I heard a little of it Steve Bannon on Friday – there are plans to fire large swathes of the embedded Administrative State. It’s the only way to break up the cabal. I’m unsure if it’s actual laws that must change or regulations – but it has to be done before the “lifers” in the government can be terminated.
Seems a bit dumb to be announcing something like that ‘in advance’…
The Left already has word of it – Morning Joe is all over it.
A most excellent read…too bad it’s the sad truth.
https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/345261-senate-blocks-trump-from-making-recess-appointments-over-break/
FTA “The Senate blocked President Trump from being able to make recess appointments on Thursday as lawmakers leave Washington for their August break. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), doing wrap up for the entire Senate, locked in nine “pro-forma” sessions — brief meetings that normally last roughly a minute.
The move, which requires the agreement of every senator, means the Senate will be in session every three business days throughout the August recess.”
President Trump and President Harrison (who died after only 32 days in office) were the only Presidents who never made any recess appointments!!! So in essence President Trump is the only President who never made a recess appointment and his party controlled the Senate all four years!!! Further every single Republican Senator went along with this for all four years!!! What does this say about the Republicans in the Senate??? President Trump must have had the patience of Job!!!!
No, President Trump was thwarted by the compromised RINO leadership. Turtle McConnell, I have no doubt, told every Republican Senator that any member granting Trump access to such appointments would be destroyed both professionally and personally. None had the courage to do so.
What changes in a future term? Nothing. Only a literal elective overthrow of these globalist scum would enable Trump, or DeSantis, or (insert any MAGA name as President) to accomplish what needs to be done.
In the primary I will vote for DeSantis. In the election either Trump or DeSantis.
Sundance,
I still say Trump did not hire good people. Mattis and McMaster had all kinds of woke articles written by them or about them before Trump picked them. Sessions was terrible as was Pence. If Trump wins next time, why doesn’t Sundance give recommendations as to whom to hire.
Lets’ play a game.
Sundance will pick a shadow cabinet and post it right now and let’s see who he selects. It may be the greatest cabinet ever. He knows more about who is effective and who is not, so Sundance – give it a go.
Doesnt seem like you understand the post wrt appointments. Are you always this obtuse?
The President’s cabinet picks must be *approved* by the swamp. If President “Trump did not hire good people” that is the obvious reason.
The big picture, and most significant determining factor, is demographics on a global scale. The USA is still much better positioned – in spite of ourselves – than any other nation.
IMO, they aren’t entrenched ideologues more than their paycheck demands toeing the official line. In other words, they know they’re lying but their paycheck requires it.
There were a lot of unforced errors. Starting with Covid and Vacines, which will go down as the biggest error in the history of civilization by 1,000.
A lot of people (who should have known better) made the wrong choices when it came to lockdowns and mass formation psychosis. President Trump merely gave everybody the freedom to choose what they thought was right for themselves.
God does the same thing. If we are faced with hard choices and we choose the easy way out, we have nobody to blame but ourselves.
He never saw a MIC spending bill he didn’t love.
You could pick 20,000 people in private industry and they would drain the swamp.
Private industry people have no clue how .gov works …
that is a good thing, if true.
unfortunately, “private industry people” have learned how to control politicians, and co-opt the Agencies.
It is called ‘rony capitalism’ for a reason.
Trump doesn’t have a plan. He has tactics and that is the problem.
oh he has a plan – President Trump: “We have to abolish all Covid mandates and lockdowns, re-hire every patriot who was shamefully fired from the military with an apology. We have to give them an apology and all of their backpay.” https://100percentfedup.com/breaking-president-trump-stands-up-for-unvaccinated-military-personnel-fired-by-biden-makes-big-promise/
exactly.
PDJT is an excellent counterpuncher, but is not a strategic thinker. Have a goal, repeatedly play out every opponent’s future moves, and put steps in place to counter them.
Tactics is knowing what to do when there is something to do. Strategy is knowing what to do when there is nothing to do”
Tartakower
Just to note Reagan was going to eliminate the NIH because infectious diseases were all but eliminated. That is when Fauci said hold my beer.
Trump and We the people succeeded. People just don’t know it yet.
