I recently read an article where an “expert” was claiming that white people were incapable of overcoming their inherent racism.

Re your last point: School systems are usually funded by property tax revenues. If your municipality blocks school choice and denounces home schooling, organize a property tax nonpayment “mostly peaceful protest”. It’d be at the local level so the evil IRS would have no reason to send their luftwaffe to strafe participants. And it’s highly unlikely that the average municipality has the manpower – excuse me, personpower – to arrest several thousand perps. Of course this would not work in NYC or Philly or any city of that size, but in the suburbs and smaller towns, I believe it might just get the full attention of the jagoffs in power that we are done with their disrepect.
I don’t know about your state but in CA if you don’t pay your property taxes for 5 years your property is sold at auction by the county. Also, as I learned once the hard way, if you are late paying your property taxes the added penalties are draconian.
In CA schools get their funding through Average Daily Attendance (ADA). If the kids butts are not in the seats at the school the school forfeits the money for them. Massive power for the parents. Keep your kids out of school till they stop the hatred. They will either stop or go broke.

In 1993, when I was traveling the state, debating for the school voucher initiative on the fall ballot, I learned all about the GRIFT of sending fed money to local schools with non-native English speaking children.
Back then, it was $6600/year, which came in IN ADDITION TO the average $5500 from local prop & sales taxes… So you can see the temptation.
Big money to the schools, so they did all they could to overcrowd classrooms with illegals’ kids… I’m sure it’s much more money now. And there was no requirement that the extra money be used on bilingual education… It’s just a slush fund.

I called my local tax collector last summer and told them that if the schools weren’t open for in-person teaching, that I would not pay the school portion of my property taxes…. And what the hell were they doing taking instructions on opening from DC, when we citizens are the ones paying the bills!

One of the problems that I’ve seen when it comes to school boards in our area is the number of teachers on them.
While it’s considered a conflict of interest for a teacher to sit on a school board where they work, it is not if they live in a district other than where they work.
The teachers’ unions advance their radical agenda by getting their members to run for school board seats in a district where they don’t work and then they all work in unison to advance a common self-serving agenda.
And that common self-serving agenda includes voting Democrat in every local, state and federal election … for which these good people are rewarded with nonnegotiable contracts, “Cadillac” healthcare policies, and job security approaching the tenure enjoyed by faculty at Ivy League universities. Nice work if you can get it ….

I read somewhere to never give your authority away. It will promptly be used to beat you over the head. People who pay the taxes to all of this need to make the people they pay understand who is in charge.

One of the biggest problems with school boards is that the turnout for sb elections is low, low, low. The Dems know this and put up wild-eyed radicals that they know will win because few people vote and even fewer research out the candidates. Here in my basically conservative town a person who thinks CRT and the 1619 Project are just fine won a seat recently when there was minimal turnout. Now people around me are horrified that the person won. You cannot rest easy with ANY election; the Dems do not!

Let a grand jury figure it out. If one parent meets with the county prosecutor nothing will happen. If fifty parents meet with the county prosecutor then people start to notice. Then demand child abuse charges be filed against the school board for the mask policy. File lawsuits left and right. It’s the only thing they understand.

The last special election in Collin County, TX only 14.1% of the registered voting population went to the polls.
In the 5 June 2021 run-off in Allen, TX for city council, it was slightly higher as their was a concerted effort by Republicans to get the voters to the polls. The interesting part about this point is that Municipal Level Elections are supposed to be non-partisan. I am glad the local Republican did the leg work but it is interesting given past candidates were supposed not be affiliated with a party.

Conservative parents need to run for school board positions. It can feel like a thankless job, and it’s adding more to already full plates (meetings often held in the evenings when you want to he home relaxing and spending time with family), but it is critical. There is a lot of opportunity here, as people are usually not lining up for the job. Which is why these boards are so awful…due to lack of candidates, often anyone willing gets on, and we are stuck with a bunch of Lefty ideologues or otherwise weak members who won’t put up a fight. Please consider running for a local school board. We can make a difference here.
