Is nationalism a trait that God plants into us to become warriors with a strong sense of rights and wrongs, and keepers of the faith? Or is it something we develop individually as we mature? Nature or nurture? I do not know if there exists genome sequences that carries this trait. I have read about many heroes of different countries and governments who have stood up against tyranny in their lands. I have had conversations with family members and friends who are either willing to pick up a rifle and fight for our country or have no desire to ever wear a uniform. The latter just blows my mind. I simply cannot understand that indifference to our nationalism. If our universities/colleges continue to indoctrinate our children and grandchildren with hatred of the USofA then I believe nationalism will be stamped out of future as we become one world with one government of the elites, by the elites, and for the elites.
