President Donald J Trump calls-in to Fox News to discuss the passing of his friend and one of his strongest allies, Rush Limbaugh. Our People’s President reflects on his memories of our nation’s voice, Rush Limbaugh.

I wish I had eloquent words to express my feelings on Rush’s passing, but crushed sums it up. One year ago, who would’ve imagined where we are today… Rush gone, lock downs, masks and the word, “former” in front of President Trump.
In a way, Rush’s death is like tge final blow go our republic.
Lockdowns, dehumanizing masks even on children, people denied the right of assembly (social distancing), a stolen election, a wall around our capitol, Bolsheviks in all but name in charge of our government, our president silenced and hounded, the lawyer who defended bim cancelled by his law school, people being fired for holding politically incorrecf ideas.
Tell me we are not living in 1918 Russia at the emergence of the Soviet Union.
Rest in peace, Rush. You did what you could for us.
We will be back. Someone like Trump, if not he himself will lead the woke masses. Never forget: they had to CHEAT to beat Rush’s voice and Trump’s crowds.
Or, you could say that Rush did such a good job in making the argument, that the only option the other side had was to effectively end Democracy. Rush played by the rules he believed existed (that we all thought existed) and was a good deal responsible for Trump getting elected in 2016 and re-elected in 2020. So, Rush (and all the rest of us) won the battle.
But who ever imagined that the FBI and Judiciary and the entire system were this corrupt? And that they would rig an election?
But I think Rush had an “inkling” this was in the air, when he said last year that the “Democrats wanted to end Democracy.” (even Snerdley thought he was crazy) But here we are, in uncharted waters, playing an entirely new game.
Rush passes away on Ash Wednesday, how apropos. Gone but never forgotten.
A legend !!!
So thankful for the kind words from our President. I’m tearing up reading all of your comments. I’ve been thinking all day about Rush.
I was born in 1987, not long before Rush started on the radio. I didn’t listen to the show when I was a little kid but I was aware of Rush because my parents and grandparents listened to him and I would hear them talking about him.
I can remember the first time I really listened to Rush. It must’ve been 2007. I hadn’t been back in the States for very long, after a tour in Iraq in 2005/2006. I remember driving in the car and normally I would listen to some really terrible music on FM, but that day the music was even worse than normal. Decided to to switch over to AM to see if anything interesting is on there. Hey, this is that Rush guy. I’ve heard of him, my family likes him. I think he was in the news recently, I think he got in trouble for saying something “controversial”. I figure anybody like that is somebody that I want to hear what he has to say. I’ll listen.
I remember he was talking about race. He was saying things I had never heard anyone say before. Well, I’d heard normal people say stuff like that, in person and in private. But the kinds of things Rush was saying were the kinds of things that aren’t “allowed” to be said over the airwaves to a mass audience. He was talking about this new guy on the political scene, what’s his name, “Obama” or something. Everybody on the TV news is head over heels for this Obama character but Rush is having none of it. Frankly, most of the people I know in real life are skeptical of Obama too, but our viewpoints aren’t “allowed”. Rush is speaking for us.
I remember listening to Rush in the car that day and laughing and saying out loud, “Oh man, I can’t believe he just said THAT! This guy has balls! This is awesome!” I continued to listen to him whenever I could.
Fast forward a few years. I’m going through a rough time, basically homeless. Some of you may know about it, I’ve written a little about it on here before. So I spent a lot of time at the library. Because when you’re homeless in Vermont in the Winter you need to stay indoors as much as you can and the library is one warm place you can go and not get kicked out as long as you don’t cause trouble. I used to shave in the library bathroom. Yeah, I was that guy, sorry. Anyway, I spent a lot of time reading political books. Left, right, you name it. Honestly, I could tell that the world was in a sorry state and I wanted to figure out why things were the way they were. So I read a lot of political books, trying to figure stuff out. I wasn’t really sure where I was politically. Some of the left-wing books were okay I guess, but the more I read the more I gravitated to the right.
One of the books I read was Rush’s book “See, I Told You So” from the early 1990s. It was one of my favorites, and I’m not just saying that, it was way more fun to read than most of the other dry political crap. I loved how Rush destroyed political correctness and the lying media.
Fast forward again. It’s June 2015. Donald J. Trump comes down the escalator. He gives that speech. Yes, THAT speech. “….I am officially running…..for President of the United States….and we are going to make our country great again!” I’m all in. I love this guy. I watch as he takes on the media. He destroys political correctness. He’s a bull in a China shop and I can’t get enough.
Seeing him and the way he charges into battle makes me think of Rush’s book. The Donald is following Rush’s battle plan so well, I don’t know if he read the book or if it’s just a case of great minds thinking alike. Either way, it’s beautiful to watch.
The rest, as they say, is history. The MAGA movement would not have been possible without Rush. I’m so glad he got that medal placed around his neck by our beautiful First Lady. You can see what it meant to him. I can’t watch that without tearing up.
Rush meant a lot to me personally, he’s been there my whole life. I know he meant a lot to all of you too, millions of you. I know he’s in Heaven, watching down on us. We’re going to Make America Great Again and Rush is going to be smiling down as we do. He brought us this far in the fight and there’s no replacing him and it’s going to be hard without him but he helped show the way forward. We will continue the battle that Rush devoted his life to. We will make our country great again.
Rest in Peace, Rush, we love you.
Thanks for writing that.
What a beautiful tribute. Rush would be honored.
Thank you for these very personal words.
The man behind the golden microphone.
“EIB”
Your post is a nugget of gold… God bless you for sharing a part of your personal story with us.
I remember the 1st time I heard Rush I laughed out loud because he was satirizing the Commi feminists. I loved that. My unborn baby was dying & my husband & I were on our way to an ultra sound. I was heart broken for our baby, but Rush touched my heart with his honest candid assessment of crooked creepy fascists. He gave me hope. God bless Rush Limbaugh forever.
I enjoyed that personal take very much. I’m angry vets are homeless now. Once we gave our vets VA loans for houses, now only 1% sacrifice for our eternal sand trap wars and we let you shiver in a library so you don’t freeze to death?
I pray to see the day our corrupt RINO-Marxist axis of evil is metaphorically strung up and literally removed from power and our citizens are thriving and whole.
God be with you and Rush’s soul.
Rush would tear up reading what you wrote.
I can’t stop thinking about Rush today. I am feeling a deep profound grief. That’s why I keep coming to CTH as I know I am not alone. On Christmas of last year I was in a grey funk. My hopefulness about the election dispute had turned into skepticism and was rounding the corner into despair that Trump would still win. I listened to the Rush show but there was no broadcast. Instead it was 3 hours of gorgeous music, mostly of Anaheim Steamroller. Beautiful and uplifting! It helped bring joy to an otherwise gloomy Christmas. God bless you Rush you will be sorely missed.
Mannheim not Anaheim.
And when the Democrat / Media Complex saw Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh, they said “You are mad! You are not like us”.
They’re mad because they’re not like us!
A time will come when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying “You are mad! You are not like us”.
Edited. I thought of this when I first heard Rush had died. Goes for Breitbart, too.
I think I would feel differently about Rush’s passing if it had happened in ‘normal times.’ I could just grieve him. Now it all just melds into the same numb sickness.
I grew up listening to Rush, a true Rush baby. Family vacations with my dad and uncles, we’d be listening to Rush in the car. I’m 43. Been listening since 1990. I stopped in 2016 because… I felt like we had an adult in the Whitehouse and I could tune politics out for a while.
Rush was far from my only conservative influence growing up, and as I matured. I listened to a lot of voices, many of which never would have existed without a market he created. He was, sincerely, like another uncle. Like a member of the family. He was the guy I could always tune in to when I wanted a sage take on current events on the rare occasion when I really didn’t have a clue what to make of things. He always spoke his mind. He never feared going against consensus. He never lived his life like one of the sad little cocktail party quislings of the conservatariat.
The world is genuinely a worse place in his passing. And yet in a way I envy him.
Yes!!
As the light dims in America, let the church rise to its knees and call for the deliverence that can only come from our heavenly father.
For decades Rush rang the bell of liberty and the call to stand for America and American values.
Which are the founding principlas of the constitution and its source. The Holy Scriptures. We are a nation founded upon the love for God and freedom to worship. We are seeing those freedoms being diminished today by a rouge regime of intolerant haters of God and all that is truth.
How many times Rush warned against this. I think he saw it coming and cautioned us. He knew the hearts of these evil and wicked people. Now the only remedy isnt President Trump.
It is a return to our beginnings and to do our first works.
Rev 2:5
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Seems like a lot of revisionist history going on.
Rush was for Ted Cruz until the bitter end, until there was no longer a path for Cruz.
I couldn’t listen to Rush’s show for over a year. Every now and then I’d tune in and there he was, gushing on and on about Ted Cruz. So I turned it off.
I wrote him two or three emails about how Trump was the one and here’s why, but he couldn’t be shaken from Cruz- until there was no other choice but Trump.
When he did finally see the writing on the wall and embraced Trump, he was a staunch defender.
I pray that God will forgive him his sins and give Rush eternal life.
Rush switched to Trump in around January 2016 I think. It was pretty early if I recall correctly.
I disagree. He liked both Cruz and Trump. Trump even said Rush called him back in the summer of 2015.
Mark Levin in his interview today said Rush jumped on the Trump train earlier than he did. The interview is linked on this page.
Everybody jumped on before Levin did! But I’m glad he did!
Can we just let the Cruz crap go for once. There were plenty of people who were for Cruz before Trump came on the scene. Give it a rest for at least one day for heaven’s sake. Rush was a national treasure and we need not denigrate his memory with silly partisan bickering.
amen
Not my memory and I would listen to Rush assiduously. And as I was a supporter of President Trump early on, I would listen with that in mind.
Rush would make a point about wanting a trusted conservative, and say good things about Cruz, which could be irritating to a supporter of DJT like myself, but then he would also say good things about DJT. I had a hard time figuring out who he was for, and DJT was often saying he listened to Rush. As the campaign went on, Rush grew more and more praiseworthy of DJT and at some point it seemed he threw his weight behind President Trump over Ted Cruz (and over people like Mark Levin and others who were rabidly anti-Trump during that battle). . At least that was my memory of 2015-2016. At any rate, in no way was Rush for Ted Cruz until the bitter end.
You may be right. Like I said, I stopped listening regularly for almost a year. I don’t have a precise timeline of when Rush switched to Trump. The focus on Cruz just seemed to go on forever, long into the primaries, the spring of 2016. Rush was like a dog with a bone for Ted Cruz.
As a Trump supporter from the summer of 2015, it was incomprehensible to me how Rush could be so out of touch with the MAGA movement for so long.
I was pointing out the revisionist history now that time has passed. It wasn’t so simple as they try to make out. There were real hesitations and divisions at the time that Rush himself reflected.
What the socialists cannot ignore is the millions of people in Real America that blew past their warnings about Limbaugh and tuned into his show for 30 years. Those socialists with brains have to know that we are out here. . . . still.
In 1994 Rush was credited by the Republicans for their gaining control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. This impeded what clinton wished to do.
An outright example of what talent on loan from God can do.
OT a bit.
President Trump is schedule to appear on OAN at 7:00 ET, per Jack Posobiec.
https://mobile.twitter.com/JackPosobiec
TRUMP: Biden got the shot before Jan 20th. Long before. He is getting lit up on that one. Could he be joking?
TRUMP: The MAGA Movement is America First as opposed to America Last. We were confronting China.
TRUMP: Twitter has become very boring and millions of people are leaving.
TRUMP: We don’t want to go back to Twitter.
TRUMP: What’s going on at the border is a disgrace. They’re going to be pouring in.
Trump now pointing out that Republicans like Mitch attack their own but you don’t see Schumer attacking Cuomo
TRUMP: We gave Cuomo the Navy ship and the Javits Center but they didn’t use it and they could have saved many lives.
TRUMP: The angriest person in the country right now is Hillary Clinton bc they didn’t create votes for her to win.
Mitch doesnt attack his own…his own are fellow Democrats
Shame to see Fox news being given air time. Fake news and enemies of the people.
I’m happy to hear from our President in any format. I
I love reading his statements. Yesterday was absolute dynamite.
It’s wonderful to hear directly from President Trump, his love for our country and patriots. We need to keep hearing from him .
Go listen to The Happy Organ by Dave “Baby” Cortez. It will lift your mood, and for good reason.
It was in the bumper rotation. Several years ago, Rush once explained the significance. He said that the whole reason he wanted to get into broadcasting when he was a kid was that so he could play that song on the radio. I’ll never hear it without thinking about him. I’ve got it cranked up right now.
The talent and the man were both on loan. It was a privilege to have been able to experience it.
I didn’t cry when we got screwed out of the election. But I’ve shed some tears for Rush today.
That is a happy tune! Thank you!
What a great loss, especially at this point in our history. Besides being a great communicator and inspiration, he owned the largest audience for conservative messaging. Because of his giant audience and what that means financially it made him the person most difficult to cancel. A tremendous loss.
Bill Hemmer correctly alluded to it; Rush came from Cape Girardeau MO. Raised in a good family there.
I became a dittohead when Rush pointed out Crooked Clinton on TV (eMedia) having lunch with soon-to-be-starving children in a DC school. The Congress had just moved administration of the school lunch program from Federal to the States.
Oh The Humanity!
Reality: The Demo☭rats had proposed a 5% increase; R’s made a 7% increase. eMedia and lefty “comedians” carried on about Newt was The Grinch. Never was a public mention of the increase.
Posted on A Partisan. Wanted to post here as well.
I listened to RL since 2001. I quit listening Nov 4 2021. Not because i was upset with him; we disagreed time to time but because I wanted to hear more chatter from the back channels. I wanted to hear about stolen elections and what will ultimately happen to those accountable. But that time never came to pass. And on Jan 6 the Deplorable’s walked right into a trap. Sounds like that poor Babbitt girl was murdered by a BLM sympathizing Cap Police Officer. His name is David Bailey.
There’s only two ways out of this fellers. First option is a 3rd party kicks off. For this to work DT and family must stay on the sidelines. We have to win elections by unspeakable margins gathering support from many on the left. DT’s platform will do nicely. He was able to pick up support from all walks of life without pandering to them. But after seeing the outcome/theft/fraud this election we need tons more. This is the best way and the only way America can survive as America.
The other option is eventually enough people lose their shit so badly they get violent. They work to turn this land into chaos which spirals out of control. A true CW with no distinguishable sides erupts. I don’t want to see this and aside from some of you fellers I am probably one of the best people to adjust to it. But I don’t want it as I doubt most of you do. Still even this option is favorable to enslavement. And that’s probably the road we’re on now.
God Bless Rush gonna miss him. It’s probably better he checked out now. One year ago today America never had a brighter future. All different peoples from different walks of life were living the American Dream. The economic engine was bulletproof. Shortly after the trade war was won against the Chinese the little virus because a huge factor. Still even that and the riots weren’t enough to defeat PDT. The scary thing about what ultimately dislodged our Pres is the audacity in the manner of which it was accomplished.
Do you think comprehensive election reform is an option. Voter id, curtail mail-in ballots, address points of election/voter fraud 2020 using the “voter suppression (of us)” argument ?
No none of what you speak of is an option now. Shit I’m not a fool. But if you want a peaceful way out of this mess then a 3rd party rising up which peels from both sides is the only option. Hell I’m not saying a Jeb Bush type can’t win. They will probably let that happen just to appease people like you. It’s all rigged and we have very little leverage now. The one guy who stood against them was ousted in a bloodless coup. We are not going back so I am trying to think outside the box. You know without our country turning into a hellhole of war and destruction.
Mark Levin gets choked up remembering Rush Limbaugh’s legacy – YouTube
Mark says so much in this interview.
Was driving to Atlanta when I got the call from my sister about Rush, very sad news unfortunately I expected it was going to happen soon after Bo said he was’nt feeling well and had’nt been on since then.
After some tears I thought about when I first started listening to him in 1993 while I commuted from Ft Lauderdale to Orlando and it seems like a lifetime ago. My affection for him is right up there with John Wayne and I will miss him. 2021 is started out awful, praying it gets better.
Yes…..
John Wayne and Rush Limbaugh; I like that, Annette!
Two American Patriots; each with a large audience, who had such an impact and influence on good citizenry.
Going to miss his sense of humor. That’s missing in politics. One of the best of Rush’ comments was, in celebration of Earth Day, he had EIB1 sent up to fly around. Simply a legend.
President Donald Trump Speaks with Greg Kelly after Rush Limbaugh’s Deathhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGXPE5qQ8jo&feature=emb_logo
https://thepostmillennial.com/trump-oan-conservative-movement-strong-getting-stronger
Trump was asked about the future of conservative media, and he replied “The future is great but there’s not any one person that can replace Rush,” saying that he didn’t think 10 people could replace him.
Trump said he’d spoken to Sean Hannity, as well as others in conservative media, about the future of the form. “Your ratings are fantastic,” he told the OANN host.
“Everyone understands that Rush is someone not just one person can replace,” he said.
Trump spoke about his friendship with Rush Limbaugh, who died from lung cancer at the age of 70 on Wednesday, and giving Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which was a great honor to the radio host. It was unconventional for Trump to give the award at the State of the Union address in 2020.
“The Republican were going wild and the Democrats weren’t, but everyone in that room respected Rush.”
“His audience was unlike anything there is,” Trump said, “it’s something that’s just massive… He did something that very few people could do, he would just talk… that’s not easy to do.”
He said that Limbaugh was intent on surviving through the election, and that he and Limbaugh shared a perspective on the election results. “He fought very hard to make it through the election, he was very, very disappointed with what happened and had very strong opinions on it, like I do, like many people do, frankly.”
“He made it through easily, he lived longer than people would have thought, he was tough, he was a great man, but he was tough.”
Trump said that Limbaugh “was a very strong guy, a lot of people won’t know that… we won’t talk about scores… We played for a while, I got to know him when he was very healthy… I used to call him the bull” because he was such a powerhouse.
May God bless you Rush, we salute you and pray for your entire family and will never forget what a wonderful man of integrity you are. You’re in God arms now take care and thank you for all you have given this nation we honor you Sir.
A grateful Nation
What’s so awful about this is he lived to watch the American dream die. He watched the boom times, the apex of American power and the gentility of the 1950’s, the Conservative monsoon of the Reagan Revolution and then watched the Bushes and all RINO’s and Establishment work with the Marxists to betray us and sell us off.
His final letter thanking Trump and ending with an angry shot at the crooked politicians “raping America” to “line their pockets” is how I want to go out … telling the truth.
Now that Rush has returned to God I feel that to honor him we have to finish what he started.
In the history of Japan and ancient Egypt to restore their countries there are about three founders or kings at crucial points who are seen as the restorers taken as a group.
I feel Rush made people understand what a Conservative is and inspired a generation of warriors. He woke people up to liberal bias in media and all their tricks. And he pounded into everyone what a great nation this is. He really believed in us.
In his honor we have to build information networks that can beat back the crazy corrupt Left (UniParty really) lying about everything.
We don’t have the luxury of time. We have to quickly pool our resources (information, buying power and the like) to beat back these Corruptocrats in the UniParty and Deep State and get a populist restoration and return of the American Dream.
If we don’t, his life was meaningless. Not spiritually, no one is meaningless spiritually. But in terms of American history. His life would actually parallel the death of America.
That is unacceptable.
If we do carry on quickly, he will be one of a handful who will be credited with saving America. Our own New Kingdom Egypt which ushered in 1,000 years of greatness and an international period of importance 1500 years after the Great Pyramids were built when Egypt wasn’t even pyramid building anymore.
We’re on the precipice. I do not want to let people like him down, but of course it’s personal because this is for the next generation of my family as well. It’s for every single one of our kids.
RIP Rush, I know you are at peace. If there is a way to help us from the Great Beyond, I pray you will and know you will.
Fraud took our President away. Cancer took Rush away. 2020 and 2021 can kiss my ass.
Boy no kidding, FN. So far I’m not remotely a fan of 2021 and 2020, well, we know what a shitstorm that was. We could sure use some good news. ?
Yes, and God allowed it to happen. I think about that every day and have to deal with why God allowed a stolen election and the only answer is judgment. Hebrew 10:31- It is fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Awesome Man!! Awesome pictures!!
Forever in our hearts and minds!! RIP Rush
Reading comments about Rush Limbaugh on local news platform has angered me beyond belief. The hatred from the Left is horrible. They give me very bad thoughts. RIP Rush. You will be missed by millions of people.
The coolest thing I can say about Rush is that he already said it all!
I forgot to mention that we are winning. The common sense MAGA populism is just getting started. We will miss Rush and suffer JoeBama, but we won’t lose to just 20% – the big mouths on the left. There are a lot more of us that there are of them, Rush helped make sure of that.
Worst case scenario is we just quit fixing their broken shit. God knows most of them are incompetent.
Rush meant the world to me, I’ll miss all our lunch dates together, a friend, mentor and always a gentleman.
A class act, no doubt.
I realize Rush is nearly irreplaceable but who will take over for Rush?
Why not Donald Trump?
Rush got me through the Obama years with sanity! Thank you, Rush. Love you!
Nancy Pelosi flipping papers. BITCH!! Yes, I said it.
Thank you Kathryn for sharing Rush with us this last year. I’m sure you wanted him all to yourself. God bless.
.
IT should be interesting. Besides POTUS.. George W put out a lengthy statement saying Rush was a friend was thru his presidency. ALSO VP Pence put a statement as well that he was friends since his time back in radio ( I have a hard time believeing PENCE was a radio host with his boring personality) if there is a funeral for Rush.. Would POTUS , Bush and Pence all go.. Could you see the media coverage on that?

Words of WISDOM from El Rushbo … He WILL be MISSED!
So sad to lose Rush, but I must admit that it really helped to hear Pres. Trump!
Both of them have a calming effect for me.
God bless Rush and cradle him in your arms!
Thank you, God, that we still have Pres. Trump!
