Boy howdy is there a disconnect amid the outlook of most ‘conservatives’ when it comes to corporations and capitalism. This tweet is a great place to recognize the distinction between the objectives of multinational corporations and their hatred of capitalism.
First, they were not “corporations” on the call, that is not an accurate description. The assembly was a group of “multinationals” discussing their objectives, goals and outlooks on politics. There is a difference between an ordinary corporation and a multinational corporation. Multinationals hate capitalism.
When I say most multinational corporations hate capitalism many people look confused.
Let me help by sharing a short video that explains why:
.
The first myth busted in that video explains why corporations do not like capitalism. That’s why Big Tech is also against capitalism.
Multinationals want control; some call that corporatism…. but the names are moot. Multinationals want control, and capitalism does not allow them control; that is why multinationals do not want capitalism. Multinationals use lobbyists to generate regulations that stall competition.
Multinationals do not want competition; they are, by nature of their interest, anti-capitalists.
This misunderstanding is everywhere.
"Lost its way", good grief @mercedesschlapp you could not be more wrong. The U.S. CoC has been a multinational advance group since 1984, representing the interests of Wall Street & working on a globalist agenda. They *NEVER DID* represent the American Worker. And YOU know THAT! https://t.co/WKrxC37PiN

The multinationals were petrified of two words that underpinned President Trump's agenda: "America First"
Those two words were kryptonite to the agenda of Wall Street's multinational corporations. With trillions at stake, everyone & everything was activated to destroy Trump. pic.twitter.com/oU4YTa1bhp

those calls sounds like collusion, antitrust. In an ideal world, those corporations should be prosecuted or sued. But this is no longer an ideal world.
Never was.
Are these the same “corporate leaders” who attended Bill & Melinda Gates’ Event 201 Seminar … in November 2019 …
to discuss actions needed during a PLANdemic, I mean, pandemic.
Because multinationals control our government almost top to bottom, not us. And they control our system of injustice to make sure they are never prosecuted. We can at least thank DJT for exposing the scope of corruption. Now what can we do about it? Join groups like People’s Rights. They have been sponsoring mask burnings and defended that mom who was arrested in Meridian Idaho for allowing her kids to play in a public park. Think like the leftists and take over the institutions from the ground up.
The multinationals are just the weapons of the oligarchs
Very few people seem to even be aware of who these oligarch clans are and how they operate
This is about a dictatorship by the few
OK, who are they? How about a list?
I agree with you. That also includes the multinationals, e.g. organize rebellions against big companies at their stockholders meetings. At the very least this results in bad publicity for them.
The CEO class is subservient to the oligarchs
Multinationals are just manifestations of the oligarch problem
And very few people seem to even be aware of who the oligarch clans even are
Of course they don’t want honest changes to voting laws. How else can they install a President otherwise?
my guess….
this was all made possible by one group. and only one group.

“I live in the Managerial Age, in a world of “Admin.” The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid “dens of crime” that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voices. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern.“

I’ll be even more precise.
Multinationals hate competition.
That is why they perfectly align with the state in every case. It’s all about the power.
Welcome to the ‘United Multinational Oligarchy of America’
Comment from Gateway, looks like we need to study up on fascism:
Quote:
Mussolini used an ancient Italian word (corporazioni: in proper English it means GUILDS) to call his system “corporativismo”.
It was the alliance of the big corporations with the totalitarian regime.
We are watching the SAME (political-economical) building of a regime here and now:
the big corporations support the totalitarians who steal the elections and the totalitarians support the big corporations.
Communism, Fascim, and Socialism are just three names for the same thing: government micromanagement of a society. Think of these words as the respective Russian, Italian, and German brands of totaltarianism.
Once our government started controlling things that were formerly in the realm of sin I figured we were well on our way.
Guild socialism is not corporatism. Guild socialism is properly termed “syndicalism” which is an economic system featuring ownership by the workers.
It was a dismal failure. The workers had to call for their former bosses to return because the workers had no training in finance, marketing, business law, risk management, etc.
Syndicalism was rapidly overshadowed by corporatism— a type of proxy socialism. Business was nominally private but the state determined wages and benefits, who was hired/fired who produced what for whom.
If this sounds eerily like today’s corporate world, you now realized just how far down the garbage chute we have slid.
To clarify, real capitalism requires real money, not the currency and special tax breaks that can be issued at a whim and given to whomever the uniparty politicians are paid off by.
This is the gravy train the International Cartels are defending. Because a majority of voters have now caught onto the false choice of the uniparty. Thus it is now imperative for the Cartels to increase their ability to rig elections for their pre-selected uniparty stooges.
MAGA can now lay waste to their uniparty stooges in a fair election; even against the headwind of their propaganda media or slick campaign ads that they also fund. Their lies no longer work on the vast majority of Americans.
Second, as with all Cartels, they are anti-free market where they make slaves of those doing the actual work will driving the prices up for the consumer. There are Trillions at Stake and the anti-trust laws are still on the books; just waiting for someone to actually enforce them. Free markets raise wages and reduce prices at the same time because they are free of these Cartel parasites.
We have the People’s President, PDJT, to thank for the wider revelation of all these facts above. In short, he caught them all, and everyday they now make ever clearer their evil scams against We the People and all of mankind. They are in the open and we have them surrounded. All we need is a legitimate voting system in order to press the Revolution of 2016 into the heart of the beast that resides at all levels within the District of Corruption and there like worldwide.
PDJT is a providential man in the long history of the struggle of Freemen against an ever present Tyranny that when in control only brings about slavery or death for most mankind, only for the benefit of an unworthy few.
He caught them all? I don’t see anyone being frog-marched in leg irons to Guantanamo. It’s the same as pointing at bank robbers loading a Brinks truck with cash and driving off, “Look, there they are! I caught them all” as they drive away with the cash. Instead of waiting until total defeat, why didn’t we get a call to fix this situation from day one in office? Was DJT really that naive? They record everything we do and say. He told us they would cheat the election, he had intelligence, yet let it all happen? Why no national guards at key voting districts to supervise elections? DJT had no power or intelligence to see what was coming? “The best is yet to come.” Tell that to our border guards and communities that will be overwhelmed with criminals and illegals bankrupting states. There are no oath keepers anymore. And I thought my taxes paid for protection from enemies foreign and domestic? Now I’m supposed to suit up and become a minuteman because our military “heroes” and LE are worried about their pensions? They are not of the same stock as those who stormed the beaches of Normandy. I no longer hold these people in high esteem.
Lol
You need a scapegoat but why don’t you take your anger to the problem that the article identifies, along with their Wall Street masters. If people thought the Italian mafia was bad, this mafia is worse because they use the nation’s structures for their crimes.
DJT could not assign national guard to polling places. The states need to call for that.
His team DID go to court before the elections
They were told can’t do a thing until there is fraud
After there was fraud, the corrupt courts said they didn’t want to listen
The system is corrupted by oligarchs
Why weren’t you speaking out as they were doing this?
They own the media
The banks
The legal system
The courts
Law enforcement
They don’t like being talked about and identified, and they cry about being picked on if they are, but as long as they can focus you onto a scapegoat, they’ll keep winning
Thank you for your posting.
I disagree with a couple of your points:
1…The first 3 Articles establish the 3 Branches of our Fed. Gov.
2…Article IV, Sec. 4, Requires the 3 Branches to Guarantee a Republican form Gov.
4…Scotus has already determined that Fraud negates Republican
5…Congress cannot do anything but pass legislation
6…Scoutus can only render judicial opinions
7…ONLY the Executive can ACT.
8…Art IV, Sec 4, Requires the Executive to ACT.
It does not put any restrictions on the Executive. It can use whatever resources that exist to Guarantee the Republican form of Gov. It can also Act whenever it determines to Act, and in the manner it deems best.
So, Pr. Trump could have used any resource at his command to assure that fraud did not affect the election, and at whatever point he decided.
Perhaps the more accurate word is ‘exposed’?
Remember when Hollywood thought a little differently?
Rollerball (1975) – IMDb
In a futuristic society where corporations have replaced countries, the violent game of Rollerball is used to control the populace by demonstrating the futility of individuality. However, one player, Jonathan E., rises to the top, fights for his personal freedom, and threatens the corporate control. Written by Jeff Hansen <[email protected]>
I sometimes seems like a time machine was invented and many people used it to see the future and were returned to their time to write books or screenplays about it.
Think Mr. Smith goes to Washington, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Animal Farm. Atlas Shrugged, Rollerball, V for Vengeance (note they too unleashed a virus), Pandemic (2016, lockdowns), and now we have championship wrestler-actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, thinking about running for president (Idiocracy, 2006)
“ [A] time machine was invented and many people used it to see the future…”
Or someone read prophecy.

Bayonets and bullets are a less sure means of enslavement than is using economic force to deprive a man of food and shelter.

I agree 100%. Simple cutting people off from commerce is effectively put them in a prison with no walls. About the only path will to become 100% self-sufficient along with physical barter.
I’m reminded of RoboCop (both the original and the remake). The corporation OCP is now effectively the State and “justice” is whatever the Board of Directors decides is in their own interests.
Basically, we’re just their serfs, too stupid to be involved in our own welfare.
For four years, we knew we had a chance at well-lived prosperity and life, and they collectively stole our election.

Sic semper tyrannis.
When the leaders of a country assemble to do that nation’s business, its properly called a Parliament. America’s fate, from now on, will be decided in assemblies like this.
The Congress in Washington will be a sinecure, for the middle-men between the business leaders who make the real decisions, and the bureaucrats who control the day-to-day operations. The Congressmen are very happy with this arrangement.
Historically many US businesses and influential individuals flirted with the corporate fascism of Germany and Italy, it was quite popular in fact, until the real dangers of those ideologies became clear and getting that information out to people didn’t happen until the powers that be (FDR, the press) realized they flirted way too much with totalitarian ideas. It took Pearl Harbor before what was going on in Europe was finally, openly being reported.
The likes of Henry Ford, Joseph Kennedy, FDR in his new deal programs were part of that mindset that flirted with fascism, remembering the Motorschiff St. Louis, in 1939, the ship that was refused docking carrying 937 Jewish refugees, our government turned them away and they had to return to Germany to their individual fates – so there is a natural affinity to big business/big government – and again, it is the Democrat party that is in tune with that ideology.
These corporations, now multinational in their makeup, are all again flirting with the same ideology, this time aligning with communist China. Heck, they’ve even captured our national pastimes of baseball, basketball and football with the likes of the kneelers is demonstration of that realignment. They are aware of the horrors of what’s going on with the Uighurs, the millions of Tibetans who have lost their homes and/or lives – and still they embrace it.
It is going to be us, the individuals, the consumers so to speak, that are going to make the difference, just as it was in the early 1940’s and even then, it was almost too late as most of Europe and Asia had by then been badly damaged. Shopping small mom and pop stores, American made unless impossible and the thing needed is essential, even if a bit more expensive, is going to help keep us afloat until we as a nation can get our act together.
It was a tight race back then to change public popular ideas, hope we’re as lucky now as our parents and grandparents were then.
Calling people”fascists” is a tool to gain power and dismiss opposition
This name-calling was a tool then
It’s a tool now
None of your description of the past is accurate unfortunately
The description of the past is easily verified, with actual history books not the ones one finds in the scrubbed clean online pages of Wikipedia U;
fascism was first instituted in Italy (1922-1943) and utilized by that government to get corporations to get the public to do what the then government couldn’t enact through laws.
Re-imaging what you believe is historically accurate to fit a current hope of what history was like doesn’t change the facts.
100% agree – name calling then was a tool and is currently a tool, hence ‘basket of deplorables’. Using proper words to describe events, whether historical or current, is not name-calling, it is using language to properly identify what is right in everyone’s face.
Thanks for the reply – it showed up when checking my email there was a reply to a comment so we now know that function is back at CTH 2.0! Was wondering and am glad to see it’s back!

“The goal for America is both simpler and more elusive than mere prosperity. It’s happiness. There are a lot of ingredients in being happy: Dignity. Purpose. Self-control. Independence. Above all, deep relationships with other people. Those are the things that you want for your children. They’re what our leaders should want for us, and would want if they cared. But our leaders don’t care. We are ruled by mercenaries who feel no long-term obligation to the people they rule. They’re day traders. Substitute teachers. They’re just passing through. They have no skin in this game, and it shows. They can’t solve our problems. Just some food for thought, but I think we need to begin asking ourselves about the fundamental nature of a corporation. For too long we’ve ignored that these entities are simply collectives and they foster collectivism within their ranks — not altogether unlike communism. Sure, a living can be had by employees and so forth, but at what gain? The only ones who seem to gain in the long-term in a corporation are those at the top and the organization developing tentacles to control the direction of the ship of state. The fact that a corporation has personhood presents individuals with a severe disadvantage. How can one fight against billions of dollars in funding?
President Trump, a billionaire, tried to fight but was still taken down. That’s a frightening thing to consider — not even a billionaire on our side can turn the tide.
I was surprised to find that the corporation was viewed with a leery eye in early America. Something we seem to have forgotten. We need to return to the roots of what made this nation great and start severing the tentacles of these unaccountable organizations and revoke their charters. Small business and agriculture need to reassert their dominance on the American scene once again. Until the idea of the corporation is dealt with, we will always be warding off their tentacles in one form or another.
A little history that one might find beneficial regarding corporations:

Corporations are weapons of oligarchs
For domination
Thank you, Sundance. This distinction is very important to make for most people, even many supporters of President Trump. Our enemy is the Democrap Party, but Multinational Corporations have become the finance operations for them. Where Multinationals are concerned, protected free markets are the only real impediment they face. After the Leftists take control, those markets will be the first losers. I hate the word Capitalism, because it was coined by the original Marxist and was always used as a derogatory reference to free markets before they had to be protected from the Monopolist barons in the late 1800s.
What we believe in has been laid out in great detail by Adam Smith’s “The Wealth of Nations”. It is well worth a read by anyone who worries about the Multinationals. In short, our free marketplace is the only one that closely corresponds to the natural human bartering behavior.
It’s actually quite funny that conservatives actually believe they can regain control of the federal government by winning the 22 midterms. Conservatives will need to win every election for the next 20 years, flush the Federal Government of it’s corrupt bureaucracy, unions, liberal lawyers in the state department, the liberals in the military, kill the department of education, fire all the teachers teaching in 15 states, revamp public & private higher education or Reinstate the McCarthy era and drive Communists, progressives, and overall Anarchists back under ground or from this country to more accommodating environments. The only other solution is a full on civil conflict with extreme hostilities. The bureaucracy seems to have a mind of it’s own which is in fact the will of the people. If the leftists are already using force, we should respond with a much more effective violence of action.
I am not an economics-saavy person. I am a conservative Republican, and I am learning something here that is new to me. I have to admit that I have railed whenever I heard a liberal castigate the corporations and their greed. But I must say that if conservatives join in with liberals on opposing corporatism, this could be a powerful point of unification of the American people in the New America we all want for our future. Americans must unite. We have been divided so as to conquer us.
There is a big distinction between the Greedy Corporations and the Multinational Corporations, who now finance the Democrap agenda. The only place Democraps object to greedy Corporations is the ones who operate in the USA and who still tend to support Repugs. Thirty years ago, that was most American Corporations. Today, we live in the brave new world of Economic Globalism, and that is currently fine with the Chinese Communist Party. Therefore it is also fine with Democraps. We still have very little in common with Democraps. We can’t even agree on the personal freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution, much less what we think of the efforts of Multinational Corporations to destroy it.
Then these “multinationals” and “Communist-loving Corporations” need to scram to Communist countries. PERIOD. America’s local independent business community represents the strength, heart and spirit on which this country was built. That’s why Communist governors, like Arizona’s Doug Ducey [#2 on the “Communist-Friendly Governors’ List”], did everything they could to cripple their states independent business community during last year’s ‘planned’ pandemic.
I wanted to watch this video so much.. but that desire was thwarted by that dumb background music… putting background music in these important videos is just “clutter” (to me) particularly as at 85+ years, my hearing is not good. Too bad. This is mainly why I appreciate the “text” in so many of Sundance’s posts/articles.
Watch the video with the sound off. Turn on closed caption. It is an interesting video. There is more information at the website referenced at the end of the video.

I use this when I want to start a discussion, stop one, or just make people laugh that would get it.
“The free market hates competition.”
Sounds contradictory, but it’s not, if you understand the free market as, “authoritarian free enterprise”.
You have to pay to play and the government picks winners and losers.
The CEO of dish said exactly that, “the government picks winners and losers all the time”. He was trying to make satellite internet cheaper to compete against cable broadband years ago. Dish was hit again when they made a DVR that could skip commercials.
When VCRs could skip 30 seconds, the companies that made them were lobbied against.
Remote controls that could change the channel during a commercial, were also lobbied against.
Google’s ad monopoly, fake search engine, and video hosting site are doing the same thing. I use an ad-blocker to deny them revenue, but white list websites that need their monetization.
William Isaac, former chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., explained how government is using regulations to snuff out entire industries by going after their bankers. This is currently happening to GAB, because GAB’s CEO dared to compete against the free market…and the free market, hates competition.

Vladimir Lenin said, ““The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.” Nothing could be more true than that as the corporations enable their own destruction. Out of some misplaced sense of guilt and two generations of being inculcated in Marxist ideology, the corporate “heads” have had their minds twisted into self-destruction mode.
I would call it “cognitive dissonance” which means doing something you know is bad for you; however, in this case, they are so brainwashed they are doing something they think is good for them but in actuality is the complete inverse – “cognitive psychosis.”
These big corporations have been in bed with China for many years.
China wants a weakened USA and chaos in the West.
The corporations are doing what China wants.
Napalm Death warned us about multi-national corporations years ago:
It turns out that the problem is not having a culture to guide them and keep them from becoming omnivorous, bloated purely self-interested entities.
The way our government squeezes them with legal protection for unions, high taxes, excessive regulations, and lawsuit costs also ensures this outcome.
National emergency! Heiresses to old money billionaire fortunes want more power over the middle class!
My previous employer is a top-tier, international widget manufacturer. It puts a lot of money into R&D. Consequently, it continually petitions the government to impose requirements that only top-tier manufacturers can meet. So, I can relate to the article.
But, I have a question; what is in it for them in this particular case?
Is it just to be on the right (maybe I should say left) side of the Biden administration? They seem to have no fear of their products being boycotted. Do they benefit more from government contracts? If we follow the money, we will discover the answer, I suspect.
The Capitalist installs the Dictator to protect him from competition.
The Capitalist takes the people’s money and the Dictator takes the blame.
Eventually the Dictator realizes that he’s the one with the power.
Then the Dictator removes the Capitalist, takes his company for himself and the Dictator rules all.
This problem has taken many years to get to where it is today. When I was in business school in the ’70s, the left was beginning to make noises about multi-nationals. To us unabashed capitalists, it seemed ridiculous. Why shouldn’t American businesses do business and make profits overseas? The assumption was that these companies were managed by patriotic American businessmen, and making money in foreign countries would be good for America. Clearly, that is no longer the case. These management teams see themselves as global citizens, they put their corporate interests before American interests, and in many cases aren’t Americans anymore. In many instances, China is more important to them than America and they behave accordingly.
“News of Saturday’s call shows the episode likely to repeat in other states where corporate conglomerates are prepared to launch a campaign against voting integrity.
If this works, the pressure on voting laws will be tomorrow’s pressure on gun laws, and next on immigration laws, abortion laws, and education laws. Corporations, which for decades lobbied merely on issues pertinent to their financial interests, have now begun to capitalize on aggressive wokeism. Soon, woke corporate boardrooms will be weighing in on every facet of American life. That’s the existential threat to American liberty flying under the radar.
