One of the best ways to identify what’s going on in any area is a ground report from the people most familiar with it, that’s YOU. If you are voting today perhaps you would consider sharing a ground report from your town, city, neighborhood or voting precinct.
How’s the turnout? Any issues or concerns? What’s the overall climate amid your voting locales. Please feel free to share your personal perspectives in the comment section along with any links to any information you feel might be valuable or interesting.
Costa Mesa CA
Trump top spot on the ballot !
Healthy activity no lines!
I watched polls in a blue part of Iowa. Light turnout, no issues.
I vote in Montana but am crazily in Southern California currently. I have driven by 3 polling sites in Torrance and Lawndale Ca. No lines. Quiet.
ground zero – central montgomery county pennsylvania (philadelphia burbs)
1 hour 40 minutes in line.
A democrat poll worker offered sample ballot to about 50 people (that I could see)
4 took it
Lower Bucks Co. PA (key area)
Poll worker said turnout has been strong all day.
Lots of pickup trucks in the lot. Mostly men. Good vibe.
Ground zero in St. Paul suburb; walked right in at 1:30 no line anywhere! Felt great!
I voted mid day today. I was #354 and it took an hour. Big whup you say…I live in a tiny town in eastern WV and never had more than a couple of people in front of me. I asked the election clerks if they had ever seen it this busy and they said no. They already had about 200 votes and that used to be a full day. This is strong Trump country. Only 1 Biden sign in the community and I was told that that guy would vote for a monkey if he had a D after his name. Waited in line to sign in and get a ticket, then sat at tables waiting to be called. They had 2 voting stations which they always do. While waiting, one guy told me that those who want to defund the police were going to have a problem because who was going to protect them from us rednecks. These people are seriously sick and tired of all the BS.
I am a WV Gal too … tiny girl in Southern WV Mingo County … Varney WV We are coal country
I’m in Augusta, Hampshire Cty.
Vote as if your life depended on it because it does! Make the Red Tsunami a reality!
FL R lead is at 176k, increasing at a steady rate of 18k/hr. So, this should reach 220k, without some delayed counties. When all counties report, it should be in 240k-270k range. I expect 3-4 point win by Trump. As goes FL, so goes the nation, esp MI and PA!!
Update….

Deep East Texas. Lines are long and very red. Strong Trump turnout. About 45 days ago someone climbed about 30 tall pine trees along major roads/streets and put Trump banners on flagpoles extending out of the tree tops. Very red and strong Trump country.
Norfolk, VA (heavily blue). Hit the polls at 0700 (they opened at 0600) and line was wrapped around the building and wrapped around itself on the back side of the building. Saw lots of local state representative signs for the opposite party but more presidential signs for Trump than Bite-me. Overheard conversations were definitely more Trump positive. Took just over an hour to get through the line and movement through the polling facility was relatively quick.
I feel good about Norfolk, VA going Red. 2016 lines were not even remotely close (even with China-Flu taken into consideration). I believe the the Rallies (local one in across the tunnel) and GOTV played a large part this year. I also have faith that Warner will be relieved of duty.
Remember most of the military people vote by mail ballots to their home state!
They’ve called Va. for Biden (unbelievabe) Doesn’t look good for Gabe but I’m still hopeful. I don’t understand why you can’t get rid of a known corrupt slimeball.
The media spin is about to begin in 7 minutes. Remember……do not believe the hype. I feel good about this.
Voted this morning and posted in the 10am thread that there was a line out the door and down the sidewalk in front of our little town’s library. We are a small community of 1500 in South Central PA in a heavy red county. In 2016, when I voted there were only two or three people outside the door. Not a long line at all. Drove by at 6:45pm and the line was just as long as it was this morning.
…meant this for the 2pm thread. Will re-post there.
