I say the blue states and big conglomerates get in the way. They are the ones sucking us dry. Everything has far surpassed any raise after taxes. Even if Trump is working on realigning the world, he needs an emissary to conquer sanctuary states/cities and investigate their governors. Another to go after companies that gouge. I know DHS and ICE are working hard but foreign distractions are taking the eye off the ball!
So let’s see, we are paying ~1% inflation to deep-six the world’s greatest state supporter of terrorism and their nuclear ambitions; they are paying 300% inflation so far, not mention crushing loses, all of which would be unnecessary if it were not for the evil non-negotiable ambitions of the Iranian government.
Is this a good reasons for relinquishing support to the politicians who basically do not give a fig for Constitution and our republic except insofar as it is a source of power?
In my mind the choice is ridiculous; but we shall see what the MSM indoctrinate normies “think” in less than two months.
Let’s hope we get fewer “selected” representatives by the machine(s) and more representatives elected by free and fair elections.

I know everyone gets fixated on gasoline prices but in fact the cost of driving a car is getting more and more expensive. Insurance premiums, maintenance, road tolls, you name it.
That’s the trend unfortunately. I would not count on gasoline prices to go down anytime soon.
I still remember gasoline at 25¢ a gallon.

Exxon Mobil seems to be doing ok….yet the cost of transportation plays into all sorts of products getting to the various markets…and the consumer pays…dearly.
Yep and as a young tyke we would roll down the window to smell the gasoline being pumped.
Friendlier times as well. Dad would chat with the attendant while he was pumping.
Deport fifty million illegals and watch a bunch of those costs drop commensurately.
Don’t know where you live, but things are not like that here. Insurance has not gone up, car was serviced yesterday and the cost was down from last year. Gas also down here. Utilities are lower this year! As for eggs, 2 and half dozen at $1.99.

Blue states. Trump didn’t win 90%+ of the counties without us. We’re stuck here for one reason or another as our states bleed us dry. Not every person in the US can vote with there feet! We have commies in charge and nobody’s used the constitutional law to take them down! They cheat, steal and hate us!
At least gas is still cheaper than Biden’s 2022 $5+/gal !

I agree emphatically. There is a lot more to this story than the price of gas (see my comment above).
That said, I remember paying less than 10 cents per gallon in St. Louis in the late 60’s. Now those were the days.
Utilities use fees to increase what they can charge instead of raising taxes. And cities and counties can just start charging homeowners for “maintenance” of the county roads in front of their houses. Install an express lane on the interstate with tax money and then charge a bunch of fees to use it.
The cost of driving a car is not entirely due to the feds or thd current situation. The local states have a major share in it. They regulate insurance, create the tolls, add tax to gasoline, and gouge the feds when comes to road maintenance. In my state I also pay an annual tax much like a property tax. The current Iranian war just adds a bit more expense to my already expensive driving.
Someone needs to go after insurance carriers too. The less illegals driving, the rates should be dropping, not going up. It’s time to focus on the USA and gouging, ramping up deportations, especially in blue states!
You can bet Democrats are backchanneling to the Iranians to coordinate.

President Trump said about 4 times the cost of gas will go down after the election. I would say you have a point and the President knows what is going on.
It is not in the UK’s, any of Europe’s or Canada’s best $$$ interest for the nuclear disarmament of Iran to stop. Just as it is not in their best $$$ interest for the war between Ukraine and Russia to stop. They don’t want their people to have cheap energy and so far they’ve been able to blame the high cost of oil on Russia and the US. Unfortunately for them their citizens are catching on so they have got to try to stop President Trump by interfering with our elections. Americans have the shortest memory of any country in the world. Gas prices were higher than this, and continuing to go up with no wind in sight, for absolutely no reason under Biden.
They need to catch on a lot faster.

Many were housebound for a couple years and only went out when absolutely necessary. Refusing the jab and mask made limited driving and gas use. That’s the difference for some.
