COVID Madness – CA Compliance Law Requires Holiday Dinners Outside – Singing Must Be Done Quietly…

California Directorate Comrade Gavin Newsom has released the latest set of COVID compliance rules for family gatherings.  This is not a spoof. These are the rules:

♦ “Gatherings that include more than 3 households are prohibited.” …

♦ “The host should collect names of all attendees and contact information”…

♦ “All gatherings must be held outside. Attendees may go inside to use restrooms as long as the restrooms are frequently sanitized.” …

♦ “Seating must provide at least 6 feet of distance (in all directions—front-to-back and side-to-side)” …

♦ “any food or beverages at outdoor gatherings must be in single-serve disposable containers.” …

♦ “People who are singing or chanting are strongly encouraged to do so quietly (at or below the volume of a normal speaking voice).”  (more at link)

Where freedom and liberty conservatives make the fatal mistake is not using Alinsky rule #4 against the dictates of the totalitarian regimes.

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”  I guarantee you California politicians, elected officials and bureaucrats will not abide by their own rules.  If you deploy Alinsky Rule #4 their credibility and reputation can be leveraged against them.

Not really. I picked Cali strawberries in the late 1960’s. We picked them 2 days before they were peak-ripe. Trucks delivered them state-wide for restaurant and grocery-store sale the next day, and a plane came in daily to fly them to New York City, for sale in tony restaurants and high-end Manhattan grocery stores. My friends and I ate a lot of our pickings.

Those berries were excellent two-to-three days after picking, okay at day 5, but rotten by day 6-7.

The changeover to mega-production berries that could be harvested year-round in SoCal, shipped and sold nationwide a week or two after picking was a tragedy. They were stripped of the delish flavor compounds fungi (and humans) loved.

If you grow your own backyard Tiogas or Sequoias, or other classic heritage breeds, of if you shop at chi-chi stores that have heritage-berry suppliers, and can afford to pay 8 bucks for a basket, you’re in a tiny, lucky minority.

It’s shocking how brainwashed and narrow-minded and elitist they are, relying primarily on the vaunted NYT. However, I think I’m on my way to knocking some sense into one friend to vote for Trump, at least. The others are lost.

TV dinners would work because your compliant gathering has to be served on disposable plates. It is actually “Mandatory Guidance” and guidance is not law.

“Guidance. Guidance is supplemental material published by an agency that helps clarify existing rules. These include interagency statements, advisories, bulletins, policy statements, questions and answers and frequently asked questions. It is not subject to rule-making procedures, so there is no proposal or comment period. Guidance can be helpful, but it is not binding. Financial institutions can’t be subject to an enforcement action for failing to follow guidance. Even if an agency seeks public comment on a guidance, it still doesn’t have the force of law.”

If th Dems take the Senate and WH, they will probably pack SCOTUS to get unconstitutional speech-control and gun-control rulings. Big tax increases on families making over $80k. Mandatory solar and wind replacement of fossil fuels. Millions of seniors dying in winter due to energy outages. Gasoline rationing and laws against traveling outside of your zone without government permission.

The silver lining is that 20-25 Trump-voting Flyover and Southern states and interior parts of states like Washington, Oregon and California will secede. The Dems will threaten military suppression, but their threats will prove to be a bluff. How many of our military men and women will decide to kill their family members because President Kamala Harris orders them, as Commander in Chief, to do so? Some sick ones will, but they will be fragged,

If President Harris orders her loyal Antifa members, who can mostly, but not always take down target opponents at 30 feet, confront rural patriots, how does she think they will fare against rural hunters who can liquify her minions’ brains at 300 yards?

I have lost approx. 20% of my customers who left the state and many more who are making plans. That being said, what is the end game? Is everyone willing to let the state go communist? Is the end game to get rid of any sane people and eventually California break off or be given to Mexico? Just remember all the big military bases here and all the beautiful natural resources. Why isn’t the Justice dept all over this state for civil liberty infringement? Isn’t every state in the union required to provide a republic-an form of government?
In all honesty, I was very disappointed in PTrump when asked in an interview if he was going to war with California and he said “well, those people voted for them”. Some of his staunchest, constitution loving, supporters are in California. We would like to see a fair election. We would like to see a plan where illegals can’t vote. We would like to see a plan where Los Angeles and San fransicko aren’t running the state, but where freedom is guaranteed to those who want to be left alone. I didn’t think, under our constitution, the mob could vote to take away the rights of the minority.
We need an electoral college in every state where the big, liberal cities can’t run roughshod over the rights of the more liberty loving rural areas.

      • Up until 1967 the state senates in many states like California were federal in nature. State Senate District lines were based on County lines. This meant that rural counties had greater power in the state Senates over urban counties. The US supreme Court stopped it though.

I live in Idaho. The GOP state chairman said in a recent interview that based on recent polling, the large and ongoing in-migration of Californians and Oregonians (some Washingtonians too) are mostly conservatives. Yet in Ada County–home to the state capital and largest county in terms of population–elected Republican officials at the local level (county cmsr, city councilman, state legislator) are becoming less common. This is how they turn red states blue: at the local level. From 35,000 feet, Idaho is a very reliable red, but too many population areas are trending purple. County GOPs pushing back hard all over….so if u r soon to be a CA/OR/WA exile seeking refuge in Idaho, please note: liberals “need not apply.”

Listen Spren, many of the communists who move here are right out of the communist training grounds (universities) from your state and universities from from other states and around the world. Theyre proud progressives who congregate and get good jobs in the big communist cities and develop a hive mind. They have no idea about the freedoms we’re suppose to have. All the brainwashed illiterates wants to come to oh-so-cool California. Cali, blatantly, tells the world they can come to California, legally or illegally, contrary to federal law, and nothing is done about it except they are given the taxpayers money for housing, food, medical, etc. they then are encouraged to vote thru motor voter registration. Our courts are nothing but a leftist joke. The press are leftist, pandering conglomerates, owned by very few. I quit writing opinions to the editor when they started editing (they say for space), but it was content. This is much bigger than a few people in a rural county can change.

The mistake that government always seems to make with these kinds of intrusive laws isn’t that they are just absurd (exactly how doe we define singing “quietly”), which of course the are. No, the real problem is that Americans don’t like to be told what to do by a bunch of bureaucrats. We simply refuse to comply, something that is already happening across the country. More specifically, historically when other similar attempts (like the 55mph speed limits) have been made, about 50% of Americans simply refuse to obey the stupid law.

The state of Jefferson is the way to go. Don’t get diverted by new movements. They just try to muddy the waters, like the liberals trying to break it up into 5 or 6 states. In their plan, it left every state with a liberal super city in the middle, thereby getting more liberal reps and senators in congress. People behind the state of Jefferson want freedom. Watch the the liberals closely.

“New California” was a scam break off from the State of Jefferson idea. State of Jefferson has been around since 1940 and would set up a new state of the Northern California counties and some of the Southern Oregon ones./ WW II put a stop to it but the idea has come back into vogue lately. State of California short circuits the idea of a CONSERVATIVE new state by setting up 3 or more new states from California each with some large metro areas to ensure it still remains a liberal stronghold.

People walking/jogging on the street were about 50/50 with the masks, but most only pulled them up and over their face as they approached on-coming pedestrians. And, by and large, the demographic which felt the compulsion to obey were millennials.

My advice to them: No one is going to tell you to stop wearing a mask — you are going to have to make that decision using your own cognitive reasoning.

Justine tried that here as well. Thanksgiving for us was this past Monday and the majority of people had family and friends over to their home. My neighbor has a huge family, even though only 2 live in their big house. There were cars parked all over and it was for our one neighbor, others had to find other places to park. Our driveways accomodate 4 cars, the rest are parked on the street.

Faux-Xi has become largely irrelevant. NancyPoop has used him for all he was worth and, now that he has been largely discredited, she has cast him to the scrap heap. Now, NP is just going for the “rewriting” of amendments. I don’t know why she thinks Lawfare can just appoint her the new Jefferson when it comes to the Constitution. She’ll probably start signing her name larger than John Hancock on House passed BS. Her bitterness and frustration are becoming more and more evident every time she speaks publicly since she has thrown pretty much everything at President Trump and nothing is sticking so far. One day she will realize that she abandoned God and His teachings and President Trump didn’t and that Heaven holds way more power than the Democrat party. Up and down the Left Coast, citizens have been “treated” to death and destruction by the Democrat led state governments and their enablers in Congress. One day, they will see the error of their ways. These people do not realize that the idiots they have voted in really don’t care about them at all, it is only about those in power. Have the Portlanders and Seattlites realized yet that their mayors were all in with the burn, loot and murder crowd until those crowds discovered the mayor’s own neighborhoods and then police suddenly became necessary. Their motto–sacrifice is for thee but not for me!

Jeb, I, too, have some cousins who begin every conversation with “I’m a Republican but Trump”. Funny that these “Republicans” can never say enough nice things about the Clintons or Obamas but roundly criticize everything Trump has done, thought about doing or planning to do. They are, for the most part, much better off financially and complain about the Trump tax cuts and economy. It was at that point that I realized that their brains had atrophied from listening to CNN and MSDNC and that cogency would never return to their side of the family! I guess that they will be written off as being family since they only communicate in terms of “How can you support Trump when he’s done” this or that. Simultaneously, they babble on about Russian collusion, countless affairs (yeah, I love hearing that one when they tell me how great Clinton was—–and he was much better at having affairs than any American president! When I asked if they had seen the Brennan handwritten admission, the reply was “Trump made that up just like he made up the lies about Hillary starting the Russia collusion”. You can’t make this up. Citing sources, even government ones or their actual writing, results in absolute denials of any wrongdoing. If ignorance is bliss, part of my family is constantly singing (yes, even in Cali) “Shine on me sunshine

The new Californians would jump at every chance…..school boards, supervisors, road commissioners, dog-catchers you name it.

Well low and behold, it wasn’t long and this area of Montana had now become tragically Californicated. It is what happened years ago to Oregon, Washington, Colorado, etc.

What I have never understood, what it is a Californian escapes California and then wants to make his new home as the one he escaped.

It is the same as Mexicans immigrating from Mexico. How in the World can any Mexican who makes it to the United States be a Democrat? You would think just the opposite.

There’s a lot of things great about life. But I think tomorrow is the most important thing. It comes to us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday.

My hope and prayer are that everyone knows and loves our country for what she really is and what she stands for.

And the one I think he would shout long and loud after hearing the Savannah Guthrie “town fall”:
I’m responsible only for what I say, not what you understand.

People are getting crazier here. On my morning walk, up to a month ago hardly anybody was wearing a mask. Now, 75% are wearing masks while walking alone with nobody near them. When I walk past them with no mask, they hold their mask tight against their face with their hands, even though I am careful to keep my distance (I take no pleasure in freaking people out unnecessarily). I figure they are all Biden voters who believe their masks will keep the bad orange man from being reelected.

If they make extraordinary efforts at ‘protecting’ themselves when I walk past, I usually cough. Hate from them to have wasted that effort……..

Which doesn’t work even in the fantasy land construct a mask protection to be touching your mask, but don’t look for logical consistency

As long as the American tax payers continue to be forced to pump hundreds of billions into California as disaster relief for the man made “Wildfires” California is never gonna change. California gobbles up almost 2/3 of all disaster relief dollars in this country and spends the most on illegals and welfare and the rest of the country is forced to pay for it.

Don’t forget CA public pensions….although I suppose to some it’s equivalent to welfare. And yes, the rest of the country is paying into that too. If not directly, indirectly but funding it nonetheless.

What President Trump should do is send a large chunk of the “relief” in the form of forest managers who will go in and control the brush and tinder that causes most of the wildness in the wilderness! After that, he needs to tell Madame Polident’s nephew that he must keep the place clean or no more federal $$$!

I’m optimistic that that is because he KNOWS he has the EVs in the bag and he wants to make sure to put this irrelevant popular vote thing to bed too. That is why he is in states (such as GA) that he will win, and those he probably won’t (such as CA)

He’s a FAILURE as a Governor.
Waiting for Barbara Streisand to give a free concert to raise money for Newsome. WAIT FOR IT.

I’m sure that $22.50 that she can raise will help his campaign tremendously. Has beens don’t draw the big bucks. Look at the ones who promise that they will leave the country this time if President Trump wins. They lied last time, what reason do we have to believe them this time?
