Never Relent – Why Did The DOJ Release SSCI Vice-Chairman Mark Warner’s Text Messages on February 9, 2018?…

Everything is disconnected until somebody connects it.

On February 9, 2018, the DOJ released a batch of captured text messages between Senate Intelligence Committee Vice-Chairman Mark Warner and the lawyer for Christopher Steele, Adam Waldman.

At the time the texts were released the media narrative surrounded the top-line story that Senator Warner was having back channel discussions to communicate with the author of the now famous Trump dossier, Chris Steele. However, no-one seemed to wonder why these messages were captured, and even more curiously why they were released.

Immediately following the release, SSCI member Marco Rubio, the current acting chairman of the same committee, rushed to defend the covert communication of Vice-Chair Warner.  According to Rubio the vice-chair did previously inform the committee of his intent to contact Steele.  The media quickly used Rubio’s defense to dismiss the controversy.  Nothing to see here… nothing to see here… and that was that.

Except it wasn’t.

Not even close.

While the issue may have quickly been downplayed by a water-carrying media, the looming question sat in the corner of the room like an unattended 800lb gorilla.

Why were Senator Warner’s text messages even captured in the first place?

Who captured them?

… and then, lastly, if there really was no ‘there‘ there, and everything was appropriate; and given the nature of this being sold as merely private nothing-burger communication valid for the purposes of SSCI investigative inquiry; well, then why were they released?

The answers to those questions took a long time to solve, but they are solved; and while it is prudent to withhold some of the granular aspects behind the puzzle solving, you deserve to know the answers.

The FBI captured the text messages when Senator Mark Warner was under investigation.

[The content of the Mark Warner text messages is a whole ‘nuther kettle-o-fish, which is not pertinent to our understanding of this specific aspect: what was going on at the time.]

To begin lets just focus on a sequence of events and then fill in the back-story.

First, the mysterious Mark Warner texts were released on February 9, 2018.

Exactly, four days later there was something else released from the DOJ that directly ties to the Warner capture.

On February 13, 2018, the DOJ sent a letter to journalist Ms. Ali Watkins, now working at the New York Times, providing a statutory notification that the content of her electronic communication, emails and cell phone records -including text messages and images- were captured as part of an ongoing FBI investigation. [Source Link]

That FBI investigation surrounded leaks from within the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI).  Notice the date for the search warrant February 1, 2017, to July 31, 2017. Notice also this is the same time-frame of Senator Warner’s text message capture.

The SSCI leaks were eventually tracked to Security Director James Wolfe who was leaking classified intelligence to journalist Ali Watkins and others.  Wolfe leaked the FISA application to Ali Watkins on March 17, 2017.

What we discover from the DOJ indictment of Security Director Wolfe, which was unsealed on June 8, 2018, is that the grand jury was seated on May 3rd.

This timeline means prior to May, 2018,  the FBI investigators transferred their investigative files over to Main Justice.

From there DOJ lawyers would initiate grand jury proceedings based on that evidence.

The transfer of the investigative file included the intercepted Wolfe text messages, the intercepted incoming messages from Ms. Watkins phones; and the investigative file also included the Mark Warner text messages.

That’s the how and why the Warner texts were captured.

But why were the Senator Warner messages released?

The answer to that question goes back to the same reason the DOJ released the Carter Page FISA application in July 21, 2018.  The special counsel crew initiated the Warner release through Rod Rosenstein (same as the FISA application, different auspices).  Rosenstein then transferred the Warner texts to the House intel committee; and they were made public.

There was not classification issue.  Any release was going to be a public release. The resistance priority was diluting any damage from the discovery of their capture; and it worked, no-one stopped to question the foundational issue: why were they captured?

The text messages were released and Ms. Ali Watkins was simultaneously notified because the special counsel resistance unit inside Main Justice became aware of the evidence.  It was not until the FBI evidence was transferred from FBI to DOJ when the resistance unit could do anything about it.

Remember, the special counsel was protecting and defending the FISA application.  The FISA was released under the guise of FOIA fulfillment (NYT and Judicial Watch); the Warner texts were released under the guise of fulfillment to congress; both releases purposeful and strategic.

The FBI finalized most of their investigation of the Wolfe leak, which included information related to Mark Warner’s involvement, and sent the evidence to main justice in/around February.

February of 2018 is when the Mueller special counsel resistance unit started informing their outside allies how to prepare.  The Warner text release was preemptive, and it was done before the grand jury was seated in May 2018 to hear and see that evidence.

The resistance unit within Mueller’s special counsel was essentially notifying their allies what to prepare for; how to prepare for it; and simultaneously dilute the severely damaging information that was discovered and prop up the narrative behind the FISA.

Ultimately they succeeded.  The resistance unit was able to block the biggest story of political corruption in recent history.

The vice-chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, an intelligence community gang of eight oversight member, instructed the SSCI Security Director James Wolfe to leak the Top Secret Carter Page FISA application on March 17, 2017.  {Go Deep}

When Ali Watkins was notified of the search warrant in February 2018, she was then working for the New York Times.

Ms. Watkins gained the job at the New York Times by possessing the top secret FISA application.  Text messages between Watkins and Wolfe contain Wolfe noting his important role in advancing Ms. Watkin’s career.

The New York Times received and began exploiting the FISA application in March 2017 while simultaneously writing articles that President Trump, nor any member of his campaign, was never under surveillance.  They lied.

After receiving the leak the Times then sent a FOIA request for a legal copy of the FISA application which they already possessed unlawfully.  This was an attempt to diffuse their illegal possession of the same, albeit unredacted, document.

Everything is disconnected, until someone connects it.

So Bill Barr has a slam dunk case of a sitting senator leaking classified information. Sounds like the FBI caught warner and bill the cleaner barr declined to prosecute. They had Wolfe Watkins warner and text messages and a leak trap. And Barr passed again. If potus did this would he get a pass? So its okay for a senator. Durham and Barr are frauds. If it was too political then hire a special counsel.

Timeline please. This is all prior to Sessions resigning. Pre Barr.

I doubt that the guilty have been telling Barr how they covered up their crimes. But if Durham or somebody has been informing Barr about these criminals, they sure aren’t moving forward with prosecutions.

As Sundance says, it is all about Barr trying to figure out just how much we know versus how much he can cover up.

Barr is like the cardinals who moved criminal priests around to hide their perfidy while setting up more children to be abused. Or maybe like the schools and police departments that get rid of their bad eggs by giving them good recommendations to the schools or police departments.

Barr loves to walk his problem children out the door with reputation intact.

Not so sure about that. The plea agreement says he wlll not be charged with any non-violent offense committed prior to the agreement “about which this office was made aware by your client or counsel prior to execution of this plea agreement”.

BTW, I think Awan had the same sort of deal

Does Trump lose because Barr can’t help him in time for the election? We shouldn’t have any problem winning as long as we push for our guy. We should win and it better be a huge landslide, so lets stop pointing fingers and get to the only thing we can do and that is win the election.
This simple. Trump wins or the USA becomes a Communist State within 3 years. That is our problem, not Barr and Durham. They can’t win an election for us, no matter what they do.

I despair that we as a nation are interested in fixing this. When Joseph McCarthy was called out, the right side of the aisle actually supported efforts to reign in McCarthy. When Richard Nixon was caught covering up for the actions of his supporters inside the White House, the right side of the aisle was essentially unanimous that Watergate was an egregious abuse of power.

Now, the shoe is on the other foot. The first black President made Nixon look like he was playing tiddlywinks. But the power hungry leftists who control the media have absolutely no shame in covering up Obama’s corruption. They MUST cover up Obama’s corruption to validate the vilification of Western norms of civil society and of government that is based on a binding contract based on consent of the governed.

The left will seize power. It doesn’t matter to them how it comes. The only thing that is important is the control and use of such power. But most of the people don’t believe that. So the left has to lie until they have such power that their power can go completely unchecked.

Not to state the obvious, but this means there is or was an office or group – at the FBI? – that was running the leak investigation that Main Justice was either unaware of or could not block in advance of the gathering of this information.

Comey was long gone by then. Wray was in charge. If Wray is a black hat, how does that leak investigation ever get cleared to obtain enough evidence to send up?

Or is the information not an FBI product? Maybe it’s a two hop from Deripaska NSA product? Or Military Intelligence?

When those Warner text messages came out, I thought the were like liquid gold on paper!! I keep asking here, but who and how did they get released.

I remember someone saying that Waldman had likely been the one to release them….this however makes so much more sense!!!!

Sort of like when Diane Feinstein released the info about Glenn Simpson and blamed it on cold medication!!!

So now we know that leaks of damaging info are also purposely leaked by the Cabal to alert everybody involved what’s been found and to do damage control.

Looks like Lil Marco has been caught in the cover up trap now….I hope the traitorous bastard goes down with the rest of the evil, lying scum first!!!!

So James Wolfe, whose office was literally inside the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility leaks an entire unredacted top secret FISA application that was the basis for unprecedented spying on a Presidential candidate and then the newly elected President of the United States and gets a slap on the wrist.

If nobody is brought to book and somehow Biden gets hauled over the line by the media/big tech campaign then they all skate.

    All of them.

It’s quite clear this is the final battle for the soul of America. If Trump wins, and for some reason the third civil war doesn’t break out in his second term, he absolutely needs clean house. For example what can be done about the patterns of classifying embarrassing or incriminating facts and then redacting them? And what can be done to make it easier to trace government leaks? And lastly what could be done to audit outgoing politicians and public servants to better identify wealth accumulated during government careers?

The reason I think that some is held back, the most damning parts anyway, is SD letting them know that he has the complete story. Either do your job or I’ll release the rest of the information which will show that you are just as crooked as those you aren’t prosecuting.

That’s the way I see it anyway. It’s a dangerous game SD is playing. Hopefully there are deadman drops already in place. Those drops will also give us our instructions also. Just a hunch from someone that’s maybe never played this game before.

I always try to lay things out for them to get their brain to believe. My most successful tactic is to tell them to stop and think about some of their closest friends in their group of friends. They say ok now what. I say, is there one or two of them that you are friends with but always thing, gosh Katy is such a phony, she would totally cheat on her husband if the right opportunity arises. And usually the person I’m speaking with can find that relatable. So I say, now throw in millions of dollars in the mix that could go in Katy’s pocket, plus a ton of power and influence. They are usually able to follow to that point. Then I say, now do you think the people that are politicians in these situations are pure good humans? They usually say no. And I say then why on earth do you think this situation isn’t real?!?!

I’ve succeeded with a few people. And I take pride In it. But it’s only the tiniest percent of people I can get to understand. We need EVERYONE to understand!!!

If Sundance can post declassified documents that show the SSCI leaked classified information to a reporter, and the Senator who ordered the leak was never charged, so it wouldn’t be double jeopardy after the Wolfe thing, a-and declassified documents prove that someone at the FBI altered an email to lie to the FISA court about Carter Page to get a phony warrant to cover for illegal spying, a-and the Steele Dossier that the IC said started the whole thing is a fraud that was used to open a fake investigation, a-and we can read about all of it at CTH, why is it taking John Durham more than a year to complete his investigation? I mean, Eddie Haskell says it’s pretty much public record now that people in the Obama administration spied on Donald Trump, and then made up stories about him to try and get rid of him and cover up their spying after Hillary lost.”

“Well, Beav, it’s like this. These things are really complicated, and sometimes when really powerful people do bad things, they can convince investigators that it would be career suicide, or worse, to bring charges. But you’d have to ask Durham about that one. It looks like the people who did this left a pretty good paper trail, but I don’t know. Washington D.C. is kind of a kooky place where the opposite of what people say is what they really mean, and lying isn’t really lying, and people who work in government tend to forget a lot of things, and it’s just how they do things there, so it’s sorta okay, I guess.”

Sounds like from Sundance’s post from yesterday, it was so Watkins could use the leaked FISA to get her NYT job. But why would Sen Warner even be involved in getting Wolfe to leak this to her? What does Warner gain by being involved and taking this risk?

NYT ends up getting the FISA through FOIA. Why bother with the leak when you can whisper in NYT’s ear to request the FISA and avoid the document leak?

Why is Sen Warner communicating with Steele’s attorney Waldman in late Spring 2017 when the dossier was created in late 2016? Sundance seems to be laying out a story in sections, and perhaps that will be the subject of a future article.

As a separate comment, the text messages in this article mention Deripaska, a Russian oligarch with close ties to Putin. I recall an article and photos of John McCain in Kotor, Montenegro onboard Deripaska’s yacht for McCain’s birthday bash. Wife Cindy was not with him. Strange MCCain wouldn’t be with his wife on his b’day. McCain provided the FBI a copy of the Steele dossier. Were Warner and McCain and other Senators working together to take down Trump? And of course, if McCain is involved, his sidekick Lindsey is, who said he had read the dossier. McCain photo onboard Deripaska’s yacht in 1st article below.

Deep State runs very deep, intertwines and apparently sucks in a LOT of easy-to-manipulate players. Satanic and Luciferian at the very core.

Never been anything like this in American history – and that is saying something. Maybe that is why it is taking so long, to button it down so nobody escapes. OK – not really.

I have no reason to believe they will do what needs to be done. The dirty have been doing the dirty my entire lifetime. I still remember being called back into my grade school from recess to be told President Kennedy had been shot. Been waiting six decades to believe that the government would do the right thing and treat everyone as the Declaration of Independence states – equally. That God was interwoven into our culture and legal system. I was quite delusional to believe that as a young person it appears. All I see is corruption, murder, lies, manipulation, game playing, and so on.

Arrest, charge, convict, severely penalize without regard to position or stature – or it did not happen.

It’s now being stated by Chris Steele to the British courts that he was hired by Hillary Clinton to produce the dossier in order to overturn the election of President Trump.

Now, is that not the definition of sedition?

Anyone, see the DOJ jump on this?
