Sunday Talks – Steve Bannon Discusses His Thoughts to “Crush” Coronavirus…

Former White House advisor Steve Bannon appears on Fox News to discuss his thoughts on how to mitigate and eliminate Coronavirus from the United States.

Among Comrade Bannon’s proposals:  Shut down all inbound international air travel. Shut down all domestic air travel. Forced federal shut down all ports of entry, allowing only commerce. Initiate forced quarantine zones around major metropolitian areas keeping people from leaving.  A forced shut-down all vehicle travel on interstates, except supply chain transports. A federally enforced closing of states to cross border traffic. WATCH:

.

Yikes.  Civil liberties? Meh, details… details.

I’m just sharing information….

Steve Bannon was, perhaps still is, well regarded by many people; and formerly held a position of influence in the White House.

I cannot even fathom the totalitarian nature of what Bannon is suggesting.

What America would even re-emerge from that type of action?

Your thoughts?

I listen to Bannon’s Warroom:Pandemic – he’s struggling to be relevant and constantly is making outrageous statements on how POTUS ought to handle the flu crisis. Why Maria Bartiromo continues to have him on as a guest is beyond me. to suggest HE knows best how to handle the crisis is unbelievable. On his program, he talks over his colleagues, often cuts off guests and is so wrapped up in his own ego, he can’t see the forest for the trees.

It may have been on here that a chart was put up. The flu has turned down to near nothing while the corona has spiked, flu to levels that are not correct. Everything is now corona.
I’m not understanding why anyone would advocate a complete shutdown for this virus. The ramifications are disaster. In a perfect world, yeah shut it down, but when globalists want to take over our country, no.
Bannon did say ‘if you are going to shut it down’ so there is a little backpedal there.

He has been fairly clear on his position for at least 3 weeks: Don’t shut things down in vain. If you are going to make an economic and civil liberties sacrifice, make sure you solve the problem — no half measures. Might be too late for that anyway as the hole has probably already been dug. That is that we will catch 90% of the economic damage and 80% of the virus damage and still truncate/suspend civil liberties.

I would disagree on the all or nothing and suggest that after the end of April the best course would be to follow the South Korea approach in most of the country but keep any hotspots on continued lock-down. South Korea used aggressive testing and tracking of contacts to limit the time that infected people were moving about and spreading. Keep in mind that infected people aren’t that contagious for the first few days, so if you can locate and test them in 2 to 3 days, you can win the race. They tested anyone who had contact with an infected person and IF positive quarantined those people by force if necessary. Aside from limiting large gatherings they kept everything open and running. Bannon has no clue how precarious the situation is right now with people worried about food, bank accounts, rising crime, social order beginning to unravel.

One important factor to the above approach. It is effective in areas with small numbers of cases. If there gets to be too many cases, then it would be better to go back to a similar lock-down to what we are doing now, but only for the hotspot area and only for 2 to 3 weeks.

I know people will object to forcing those who test positive into quarantine, but during past emergencies like hurricanes etc… curfews, limits on freedom of movement and forced evacuations have been done with no lasting damage to our liberties.

Sadly, I think Bannon’s best creative years are behind him. He’s trying too hard.

”but keep any hotspots on continued lock-down” – therein lies the issue. We haven’t kept any place “locked down”. I don’t really care either way – if pushed, I would probably want the freedom even if it meant a high risk of death to myself or millions. Airports and public transport were open and active for much of the period, urban parks and trails as well as beaches were packed. Grocery stores did not have any rules enforced, just the guidance of “social distancing” so they were full of people, most in breach of six foot perimeter. Same true for C stores, hardware stores, etc. Pretty much a partial mitigation of the virus and an 80% mitigation of the economy.l

All very logical and well thought out, but the pandemic cought everyone flat footed and thanks to an inept CDC not enough test to follow the South Korean model. You are also offering this model as a way to end our quasi shutdown. I’m not sure we have enough test to do that.

I was referring to the original shutdown of 15 days. Without the test, maybe a total (all) shutdown would have been more effective for a very short time or do nothing as we have done in the past and seemed to manage ok. This has all been pretty hit and miss, but Trump handled as well as anyone could have with a shortage of basic supplies.

I hope CDC gets a massive overall, and we start making the things we need in this country. POTUS warned us and now maybe the naysayers will believe him.

I agree that as far as stopping the virus a complete lock-down at the first announcement would have been far more effective. However, this was the period of The great toilet paper panic of 2020″. If that had been implemented at that time it would have been total pandemonium with people panicking about food and cash instead of toilet paper. Massive looting and bloodshed would have been likely, and a return to normal order would have been very difficult. Whatever we do, we need to err on the side of keeping social order because once that is gone, all attempts to manage the virus or anything else is gone.

Bannon is right. He read ‘Unrestricted Warfare’ and gets it. Since 1997 CCP has been at war with the United States.

The release may be deliberate or not, the agent a DNA manipulated bug or not, BUT – once the bug got into their population the CCP engaged in deliberate BioWarfare against the US. 400,000 people flew to the US while the plague swept China – many doubtless carrying WuFlu. Their travel was no doubt approved to by the CCP to spread it here. The CCP lied to slow our response and did all they could to strip up of protective equipment (6min mark on the clip).

Just as the CCP did not declare a war on us but wages one (explained in ‘Unrestricted Warfare’) we must wage war, selectively across the domains; economic, information, kinetic, with them. I trust Trump to be wise in how he chooses to respond.

For now, and for as long as prudent, NY must endure what restrictions are necessary for the country to survive and win.

Talk is cheap. Big Talk is even cheaper. Bannon has an audience that must be bored out of their minds. There is no reason to take this bag of wind seriously.

The second part of the issue is Gruberment able to go 100% Stalin for emergency X reason is not a Gruberment by the people, for the people, it is the machinery to enslave 100%. What is your social score? will be the dog collar people will wear birth to death. Ask the Chinese what that is like.

Now, to step away from complete lunacy and get back to the demon at hand, what if this virus never goes away because it is a bioweapon designed to mutate and thwart any vaccine? Or if it becomes persistent, chronic, and once infected it waits for a weakened immune system to reappear like Herpes does (this is not a fictional exercise, even ebola can become chronic, with lingering symptoms.)

One more point, this virus mode of damage is not even understood. Some think it is causing the hemoglobin to malfunction and in turn damage the lungs. The good news is that there is a treatment strategy using zinc and different chemicals called ionophores such as hydroxychloroquine to move the zinc into the cells. This treatment also works to prevent infection. Did I mention it is dirt cheap?

Bottom line, anyone that goes for jumping off the Stalin Bridge needs to vote for Joe and his VP AOC, then have a stiff drink.

So in Bannin’s world, are we resetting the clock if freedom for every new case? When is this lockdown going to end? No answers from the great Steve Bannon on that.

Natural selection is not the choice and only happened in the past and Dark Ages because they had no other options. It’s cruel and unnecessary in the modern age when we have other treatments. With that kind of thinking why should we try to treat any disease or affliction just let those who can’t fight it off naturally, die. If not for modern medicine and treatments I wonder if people who think this way would even be here to espouse that solution.

Sorry but that is a Strawman argument and I do not care to play that game. I am not arguing against modern medicine but am instead stating that we cannot prevent all death/diseases and attempting to halt ANY risk to anyone is, in actuality, allowing the virus to mutate and possibly become more dangerous in the future to those whose natural immune system were never allowed to fight it. The reality that life is 100% fatal isn’t going away anytime soon and we need to start having honest conversations about it! This shutdown is also costing lives but those are not being broadcast in hushed tones on the evening news so they aren’t getting the same level of attention.

Trying to position this debate as a choice between “shut down the entire economy” or “you just want old people to die” is a false and dangerous one!

Well, he said he had “complete confidence in Drs Fauci and Birx but then repeated that Dr Birx will not be specific on her definition of ‘full mitigation’ and the ‘models she says she has “built from the ground up.’ So, my question is, how can he have confidence in these two doctors who are way less than transparent in these briefings?

And Bannon, who was a critic of Obama holdovers in the Trump administration early on in 2017, does not even bring up the fact these two are globalists, one who is in love with Hillary and treated the deadly H1N1 swine flu as if it was nothing when it killed a lot of people, and one who is on board of Gates Foundation and who was appointed by Obama for some money-sucking AIDS research.

That said, ‘let’s rip this band-aid off’ federal approach has to come from recommendations from Birx and Fauci because when the natives get really restless and start taking to the streets, Trump can blame it on those two.i

I guess I’m only smart enough to deal with this in real time, with Experience being an American,
An old guy and living part of the shutdown where I’m a carpenter, and can work, and my wife, a senior accountant of a small sports bar chain, where 3,000 employees got laid off, the day it shut down.
If you’re a carpenter over 35, you’ve done a total shutdown, after the building bubble, in 2008.
The difference, in 2008 the shutdown was permanent, our work load is backing up as we speak.

I’m getting to experience, first hand, NC’s and the Feds, roll out, of this ‘rescue’ plan.
NC is the land of the establishment Republican and an ever growing liberal population,
The state does things pretty well, My wife got a check from unemployment, in a week, after applying on line. They are spreading the way to get that done. Last week, Monday the loan requirement apps. were available, for the Friday application for SBA business loan. It was messy, and it got to the President. He said fix it, . By Thursday night it was 2 pages. Her company was ready to apply. Bank of America was the only National Bank ready to go. 297 independent community banks, loaned about 22 billion dollars Friday, can we talk about, gettin’ back in the game? As per usual the big banks are fussing about favoritism, what else is new. But the money is there and it pays to loan it out. It will work. The ‘Aflac’ check, I hate the word stimulus, to supplement the under pay, of unemployment. is yet to happen. 1/2 of those 3,000 employees can last a month, that’s it. We have 3 deaths per million in the state. Best in the country. We are ready to go now.
We have a less than 1% death rate to infected. And it will be muggy and 85 degrees a day, by May 1st. After seeing President Trump tonight, beside maybe Charlotte, I see us going back to work.
President Trump picked the best place in the country, to have the GOP convention, in August.
We are touchy feely people here, this safe spacing, will not last very long here.

The last year of my Dad’s life, was the same year we had one of the worst influenza seasons ever. My dad face planted on a sunday night and was sent by ambulance to the Hospital.
I met him there. I walked into an ER waiting room, I could safely say, there were a 100 very sick people waiting to get seen. I walked through these folks, didn’t touc a thing until I got to my Dad’s room. Still caught the flu, took me out for a week, and I got help 2 days after that visit. The state was closing down certain schools, because 1/2 of the kids in 1 school were out sick.
I think the # of deaths that year was over 60,000, for the country.
If Dad would have caught it that night he wouldn’t have lasted a week.

When this virus hit, just proved once again how terrible our bloated government has become,
at doing what they are paid to do. The CDC was completely inept to handle this.
The President needed to buy us some time, a shut down down was the right call. When you hear PDJT talk about flu death rates, he is in shock over that. Look for him to put that in the pipe line in the future.
By the end of this month we have enough data on the Wuhan virus to protect the lesser infected part of the country, which is fly over country.
If the Chinese and the left did this on purpose? They are only killing their own voters and losing a slew them to PDJT, at the same time. SSSHHH that wasn’t on purpose, Gods will.
All who politicize this incredible undertaking by this President, will be eating crow for the rest of history. We grow chickens all around where I live, maybe I should start a crow coop.
    Sweet dreams Tree House.

Nothing good can come from this in the short term. They are trying to lay it on Trump’s head, setting him up as the fall guy.

Expect the globalists/elites to be very aggressive implementing their pet projects over the next two years. The changes will make the 9/11 aftermath on society look like child’s play.

  12. I listed to Bannon’s pandemic podcast for awhile, but as the virus escalated, he became more draconian in his recommendations. He is smart certainly, but I don’t see that he listens well to others, and he has a more than healthy ego which is, imho, leading him astray in these recommendations.

There are a number of promising treatments. Besides the hydroxycholoraquine/Zpack/zinc combo the Australians have discovered that invermectin is effective (this is widely available and inexpensive. We should prioritize WIDE testing for antibodies in as many people as will take the test; and deploy that over the next 3 weeks.

Cancelling all flights? Eliminating car travel interstate? This is crazy talk and I don’t think the American people will accept such restrictions. I’m a mother of an adult son living in a different state–there is absolutely no power on earth that would prevent me from traveling to be with him if he needed me. I suspect most Treepers feel the same.

God willing President Trump and his team have better sense than to accept these suggestions.

Does anyone have an archived page of this patent?

Maybe it’s a good idea to reconsider what kind of politics Milo Yiannopolous and Breitbart really represented and look for their NeoCon interventionist friends. Milo and Bannon were among many others that helped push moderate critics of Democrats and Globalists to the far Right. Together with the far Left crazies, they danced the dance of Identity Politics, thus serving the elites…

From a columnist in the Orange County Register today which seems on point right now:

    http://ocregister.ca.newsmemory.com/?publink=210ae0c6a

“There are really only two ways to control an entire population: force and fear.

Force is legally tricky in the United States, but fear is an effective tool. People who are frightened to death will generally obey government orders, and as a bonus, they’ll savagely attack anyone who doesn’t.

So government officials have a perverse incentive to highlight information that is terrifying and minimize or even hide information that might be calming.”

Cheese and rice! What? First instinct is to get two people to “give us the information” and then we need to shut down everything. First instinct is to go on strict tough marshal law. Then force everyone to submit to a blood test to see if there is an antibody. And then reopen like nothing happened at the end of this month. What? That may work in like a 19 house neighborhood but not this country. What a terrible thought. This isn’t the make-believe virus from the movie “Outbreak.” It’s a respiratory flu-like virus that is mainly hyped by the media. These made up scenarios by a millionaire media guy are pure fantasy. I know why he did not last long in the WH. Good grief.

He should also get some decent hackers and investigate how and why the media are so coordinated and did the Democrats/ Chicoms set this whole thing up to destroy our economy and the President… It would certainly be a more effective use of his time and money.

Bannon – EVIL. So is anyone putting out his insane views.
Why? There is an easy effective treatment for this virus. Here is the interview: Rudy Guliani with the doctor who has by how treated 699 patients with ZERO deaths, ZERO intubations, and only 4 people admitted to hospital (and even these people not dangerously ill). The interview gives his complete, cheap protocol. No need for hospital stays. No need to destroy the economy. No death or longterm health damage. In other words, why shut the country down for what can be so well and effectively treated? We know why. Someone is out to hurt the country, our well-being and our freedoms,
Here’s the interview, a summary, plus the protocol.

SUMMARY: Dr Zelenko’s cocktail of drugs. Daily dose for 5 days for people over 60 with symptoms and ALL with with shortness of breath (treatment administered immediately at that stage, vs waiting for someone to get sicker). Cost per person: 20 dollars.
    PROTOCOL:
    Hydroxychloroquin – 200mg twice a day
    Zinc – 220 mg once a day
Zithromax (antibiotic) – 500 mg once a day

On the other side is Cuomo, who is forcing people get to hospital (totally unnecessary) to get the Hydroxychloroquin – you know, to make the virus seem dangerous, and also be more costly:

This is why I don’t understand the last paragraph of your comment.

How would a person self administer the drugs? How could someone do this safely and how would you know what stage your at without a doctors input? Can you now buy the combination over the counter. My understanding is it’s availability in quantity is now only available at hospitals. Most doctors offices are closed and how many would write a prescription over the phone for something not available at your local drug store to be self administered. So why wouldn’t you go to the hospital to be diagnosed and to have it administered even if only as an out patient.

If we could test the entire US population I think we’d find a shockingly high infection rate already. Too late for prophylatics now, Steve.

These days, they can’t seem to help gravitating towards exercising dictatorial powers over everybody. I am suddenly reminded of the movie “Masters of the Universe”, about a character known as He-Man; he would grab his all-powerful sword, hold it up high, and yell, “I HAVE THE POWER!”

The Mexican bandits in “Treasure of the Sierra Madre” would understand all of these people. “We don’t need no stinkin’ elected President, or the same obedience to the law for us as for the Deplorable masses.”

“The crisis is all but over. Let’s see what we can get away with next time there’s a media-generates panic.”

Go back and watch yesterday’s presser and lash it up with several from last week. What do we know?

    A) Even without the extraordinary measures taken, the virus would have been far less deadly/impactful than initially reported
    B) With mitigation, the worst-case projections magically dropped 90%. Which tells you mitigation really had little to do with it.
    C) The “geometric growth” seen early in every virus, including seasonal flu, is simply the left side of a bell curve. That curve is already leveling off, and the Task Force clearly believes we’ll be in the downward slop very soon.
    D) Pres. Trump clearly has insight into the HCQ/Zpak trials. Big Pharma’s allies in the Government and media are going to try and delay releasing test results for as long as possible.
    E) The same media accusing President Trump of “playing doctor” would be accusing him of murdering people if he held the opposition position on HCQ/Zpak.

F)I’m not sure why the Treehouse cares what Steve Bannon thinks about much of anything.

Prior to February 25, the fake news media was all “It’s just a flu, stop being a racist”. Everything changed exactly on February 25. That’s when Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the head of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control, made her announcement. MSM instantly changed their tune, now it was all “OMG, we’re all gonna die”. Fortune Magazine has noted, “Tuesday, Feb. 25 should be officially named The Day of the CEO Departure”, as there was a mass exodus of CEOs (which actually began already last year, around the EVENT201 dry run). Significantly, Nancy Messonnier is Rod Rosenstein’s sister. This is a manufactured pandemic. My friend in Brooklyn tells me that her “App” says there are this many hundred sick and dead in her zip code, and she can’t for the life her find out where they are. Her local hospital is basically empty, the parking lot is empty. She voted Hillary, and even she has the brains to figure out that something’s up. Bannon is just promoting his fear porn podcast (which peddles ads for cruise lines, I noticed), so your can safely ignore him. I trust Trump has access to better intelligence.

Illness is a part of life. We can not eliminate it. Seasonal illnesses, flues colds, corona viruses, have been around a very long time and will continue to be. We have somehow decided in the past that 30,000 or so deaths a season from the flu is a natural, unfortunate part of our existence. We did not call it a pandemic, we did not shut down the economy or force people to stay home to try and limit those 30,000 deaths. We encouraged people to wash hands and stay at home if sick, to cover coughs, we worked on treatments and vaccines. But now, with the Wuhan Virus, it only took 18 deaths in March to trigger a forced shut down of businesses ushering in massive unemployment. The absolute panic and fear constantly regurgitated by the media and many politicians, has the government forcing citizens to stay in their homes and the closing of church’s. After two and a half months of this shut down the number of Wuhan virus deaths is at 7,600. Still far lower than the regular flu. So, is this the new normal? If 18 people die during flu season next year, from a novel virus, does that trigger a complete shut down of our country? Is that the new standard and worth the risk of ushering in a massive depression? I don’t think so. If we allow 18 deaths from the flu to trigger this kind of response our country will be shut down 7 months out of the year every year. Our country would cease to exist. As President Trump said, we can not let the cure do more harm than the disease. The welfare of 350 million people and a nation are at stake.
