Day Two – Senate Impeachment Trial – 1:00pm EST Livestream…

Day one recap:  A series of 11 rules amendments were offered by Democrat Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.  Each proposal was defeated individually during 13 hours of arguments and debate.  The final rules package, which passed 53-47 at 01:45am this morning, is almost identical to the original draft presented by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.  The only change was spreading the 24hrs over three days instead of two.

There will be 24 hours of presentation by House Impeachment Managers (over 3 days); 24 hours of presentation by Defense team (over 3 days); 16 hours of Senate questioning; 4 hours of closing arguments, equally divided; and then a Senate debate/vote on further motions to include witnesses. If there are going to be witnesses, they will first be deposed prior to testimony. No witness testimony will be permitted without first being deposed.

The Senate Trial Begins again today at 1:00pm EST, starting with opening arguments by the House Impeachment Managers.

And more importantly, the corruption happened in Ukraine. They HAVE to be the ones that look into it. The US will not be able to do an investigation of what went on in Ukraine without help from the Ukranians.

So it is foolish to think that if we see possible corruption by Biden and Crowdstrike, we can’t ask Ukraine for their help in investigating.

This is a no brainer that apparently the media and the Democrat party can’t comprehend. They have no brain.

Considering that Biden has publicly bragged about his corruption…considering democrats requested help from the UK, Italy, and Australia to help them spy on President Trump’s political campaign and to get FISA warrants,,. considering Alexandria Chalupa was pumping corrupt Ukrainian sources and one of their star witnesses with previous ambassador Marie Yovanovich’s assistance for ‘dirt’ on then candidate Donald J Trump,,.considering Hillary Clinton, and the DNC were paying a foreign agent to push a ‘salacious’ piece of garbage…considering the corruption in our own intelligence community on Hillary’s behalf…

And the democrats’ tell us to move along, no corruption in any of it to investigate. And to end this rant, I think Schiff just told us to ‘get over it’. lol (In the interest of honesty, I could be misinterpreting what he said as he’s just background noise while I’m ranting.)

  2. Maybe the Senate should remind that religious invocations are to be neutral and non-partisan.
Today’s was over-the-line in its veiled attempt to point an accusatory finger specifically at Republican senators.
Also, Justice Roberts should not be addressed directly during the hearing other than in the required scripted colloquies. He, unlike a real judge in a court of law, has no role in this impeachment trial other than that of moderator, enforcing Senate Rules.

So one thing I am noticing is that there is no dispute about PDJT withdrawing/rescinding funds that congress has budgeted for Ukraine. Mulvaney was slow walking or using a footnote to pause the apportionment. If the $ were not released by 9/30/2019 then Pelosi/Congress and/or the U.S. Comptroller would seek legal remedy. The funds would then be “reapportioned” to Ukraine via the Judiciary system.

So Adam Schiff is not telling the country that President Donald J Trump’s entire crime would have been self corrected if the budgeted dollars were not turned over to Ukraine by September 30, 2019. Put another way. “If you dont do us a favor you will not get your money for 2 months”

The road through the House has already been done for a one party impeachment. This in my opinion is a constitutional crisis since it is one step away from a irreversible loss, of the balance of power between the three branches of our government. I hold the supreme court a fault since they had the opportunity to reset the balance of power, by calling the one party impeachment, unconstitutional.

One misstep by the Senate, is all it will take. Will it happen?

Reminder from Former US Attorney Joe diGenova
Let’s remember what this is about, they [the Democrats] know they cannot get the 67 votes to remove the President. So they intend to use this process to dirty up the President for the 2020 election and to dirty up the Senate Republicans in hopes of defeating enough Senate Republicans so that they can take over the Senate and then have full boar to impeach not only the President again after the election but to go after Brett Kavanaugh. This is why this election is so important. This is about the future of representative government.

Where in the constitution is a one party impeachment impermissible?

So what? Just cause they want to dirty him up doesn’t mean they can or will. They can only attempt impeachment of Trump et. al. if they control the House–which they do because it was the will of the (dumb) American people. How is that a threat to the future of representative gov’t? The totalitarians in gov’t very well represent the low info/IQ citizenry.

If you look closely at the founders and the financial backing at the very origination of this security firm you find people who are not former operators… and the community they recruited from. You will also notice there are 11 private contractors who are located on Ukraine but are pro-russian operatives hanging out in the east by and making frequent travel stops to the US and London at this time. You will also notice “investors” also included members be if this Congress past and present.

It was a hacking group.. catch and release to a Russian source was the conspiracy.

Everyone who has inspected CW within the intelligence community (and private) knows these facts. They just don’t talk about fight club. It’s a multi-million dollar industry.

In another thread where it’s more timely and relevant to this subject matter I will list other security for firms who are dark groups with a public veneer and those that are completely dark.

Instead they claim that MbS sent “suspicious” messages that had pictures of women looking like the woman Bezos had an affair with? Uhh… what? This is sketchy as hell, it reminds me of the Russian narrative. I guess they have to start up a new conspiracy.

I get the feeling they’re trying to connect this to Trump but… how? Because the US has diplomatic relations with SA? I mean, we always have and I’m not exactly comfortable with it, but I don’t know what to do about it either, unless we find a way to replace oil.

Kaco, this has been explained several times previously on this site. The U.S. is a net exporter of “energy”, but primarily in the form of natural gas. We are still a net importer of crude oil for, among other things, gasoline production. As one glaring example, California still imports a majority of the oil used for gasoline refinement in the State. So, it’s not that simple.
