Day Two – Senate Impeachment Trial – 1:00pm EST Livestream…

Day one recap:  A series of 11 rules amendments were offered by Democrat Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.  Each proposal was defeated individually during 13 hours of arguments and debate.  The final rules package, which passed 53-47 at 01:45am this morning, is almost identical to the original draft presented by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.  The only change was spreading the 24hrs over three days instead of two.

There will be 24 hours of presentation by House Impeachment Managers (over 3 days); 24 hours of presentation by Defense team (over 3 days); 16 hours of Senate questioning; 4 hours of closing arguments, equally divided; and then a Senate debate/vote on further motions to include witnesses. If there are going to be witnesses, they will first be deposed prior to testimony. No witness testimony will be permitted without first being deposed.

The Senate Trial Begins again today at 1:00pm EST, starting with opening arguments by the House Impeachment Managers.

At the end of the president’s impromptu press conference in Davo earlier today some jack@ss reporterette had to scream out one… last… question… “Who is paying for your lawyers mister president, you or the taxpayers?” Of course he ignored her so she yelled it out even louder the second time. At a conference on international affairs overseas all the Corrupt US Press journ0lists’ questions were about the hoax impeachment. That kind of behavior is yet another reason why the American public despise corporate mainstream media.

              I feel your frustrations.

there are two worlds at play here..

the american partriots who KNOW what is necessary and required.

and then the political types who wear the “right” clothes, but have little actual spines to go full combat mode.

This is why there is a new development within the US system of justice.

when the courts fail..when the prosecutors fail…when the elected officials fail…when none of the normal routes to justice fail to even go after corruption. then what?

this has been the question for ages…it’s a universal condundrum every society has always faced. We are just seeing it to a scale and proportion and with a direct and immediate threat to home and property.

So this society has chosen private investigators and mostly the media. We also provide exquisite routes of reporting for leakers and whistleblowers to explode heads and take down secrets. We also recruit demonstrators, who will protest all all levels…be in physically, or on the internet.

But mostly, it is about producing incontrovertible falsifiable facts and evidence and the threat of election and office challenge to leverage and motivate these people to get down and dirty and clean up the mess and fire the corrupt, remove those not having american values, and indicting those who have committed a crime(S).

The left has the advantages of a complicit politically aligned friendly press.

so our “side” the correct god fearing fact loving side, has to spear this giant monster by performing nothing short of a truly army level network of agency.

What binds us is that our faith is our common LOVE….

I believe this team will prevail because the GOD does not permit sins to go unpunished.

Now, I am never going to assume any else’s faith and loyalty to a higher power.

I will however offer this simple message: there is nothing NOTHING more powerful and right than the power of prayer. So, before all efforts…place your trust in god.

Here is my own prayer..this is the one I choose to commit daily..and often multiple times.

“GOD, I submit myself to accept this challenge. I need your help. I want your help. Help guide my purpose that you are honored.”

it’s just that simple. I have no fear about outcomes.

If I feel I am doing it wrong. That’s when it’s time to pull it back. This is what separates person of faith, loyal to higher principles than these thieves of truth.

              God Bless America!

  3. Real Clear Investigations:

“Barely two weeks after Donald Trump took office, Eric Ciaramella – the CIA analyst whose name was recently linked in a tweet by the president and mentioned by lawmakers as the anonymous “whistleblower” who touched off Trump’s impeachment – was overheard in the White House discussing with another staffer how to remove the newly elected president from office, according to former colleagues. …

“Just days after he was sworn in they were already talking about trying to get rid of him,” said a White House colleague who overheard their conversation.

“They weren’t just bent on subverting his agenda,” the former official added. “They were plotting to actually have him removed from office.”

Misko left the White House last summer to join House impeachment manager Adam Schiff’s committee, where sources say he offered “guidance” to the whistleblower…”

This is why Schiff announced his whopper mid-way through his kangaroo court that he didn’t know the weaselblower and why he is still hiding Atkinson’s deposition.

    Maybe someone should mention these.

rather one should go to the browser and DO TO THAT WEBSITE by simply typing the key words and locating the article, material, image, video…what have you.

The reason this is critically important to understand? Because the NUMBER ONE WAY TO GET MALWARE IS BY CLICKING ON LINKS AND IMAGES WITH EMAIL.

Now, you can avoid this type of malware vector risk, but using something OTHER than Microsoft, Apple OS, and even most Linux Distros (to include android)

I prefer the ChromeOS operating system. In guest mode. This placed the risk of email malware down to zero…

again…please understand the reality of the internet malware and specifically Microsoft Operating systems (this is where most of these malware exist and is the targeted OS…to include ransomeware!)

do not click on LINKS OR IMAGES from ANY EMAIL…It doesn’t matter what email you are using..or the source.

Look I can send you an email right now, that IS EXACTLY THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS AS YOUR OWN BROTHER…IT WILL EVEN HAVE THE CORRECT TLS VERIFICATION. THE LINK WILL EVEN APPEAR CORRECT..

But it isn’t a link to any safe website…and it isn’t actually from your brother.

It is how I TARGET YOU (or in an opportunistic way broadly) to make your operating system at my commands.

Be careful out there! Best practices…101. It remains the wild wild west ….take careful steps to avoid the traps.

Completely understandable. We have to keep our homes as clean as possible. Sometimes it’s the only thing left we have control over. Just and fyi, but the Bible addresses our current issue with evil liars. Apparently what we are witnessing is unfortunately a common defect in human nature that will never end but must be recognized and confronted as we’re now doing. It looks like the Dems erroneously viewed what follows as a “to do” list:

“6 Things Make 7 Abominations To The Lord
Proverbs 6:16-19 says there are six things the Lord hates but seven are an abomination to Him.

How can God hate six things but seven be an abomination to Him?

      The answer is.

      Because it’s a riddle.

And because two of the seven abominations are actually caused by the same one thing.

      This makes six things.

Here’s the list can you tell which one thing causes two of the seven abominations.

      1. A Proud Look.

      2. A Lying Tongue.

      3. Hands That Shed Innocent Blood.

      4. Heart That Deviseth Wicked Imaginations.

      5. Feet That Be Swift In Running To Mischief.

      6. A False Witness That Speaketh Lies.

      7. He That Soweth Discord Among Brethren.

Did you see it, or did you give up?

I don’t know if you noticed or not but number two and number six are both liars except the liar in number six is lying as a witness to get someone else in serious trouble.”

But their foriegn and domestic policy choices, made for their self interested individual aggrandisement and accumulation of power, have grievously harmed US.
Vietnam, rammed thru by manipulating us and the process. The whole ME mess, trade deals, chastising EU countries for not meeting their $ obligations, but then doing nothing about it, the Opiod crises, Nafta and WTO/China, the list goes on, and on.

            Once, happenstance.
            Twice, coincidence
            Third time, enemy action.

EVERY major policy, for at least the last 30 years, has had the effect of harming America and Americans.
It CAN’T just be written off as, coincidence, unintended consequences, or stupidity.

(Hopefully the lead lawyers will pay attention and use Philbin a lot) Patrick Philbin was able to rationally explain things understandable to Senators and more importantly those watching the unfairness of the House impeachment process, including explaining the defective subpoena’s issued in the House. GOP Senators are going to want the Americans to understand the illegitimate road to impeachment the House Managers are now covering up. Last night the ammendments offered by the Schumer on behalf of the House Managers were for the effect of covering up and taking attention off that illegitimate road with help from the media. They were pretty close to successful in my opinion.

That’s ultimately is what this trial is about…that the House process was so unfair that they will have to acquit because you can’t fix a defective process. The Senators are going to have to come to grips with that. I doubt many senators know that the Inspector General of the Intelligence Communities transcript has not been released from the House Impeachment Inquiry.

    IMPEACHMENT MAKES IT VERY CLEAR;
Whoever did not understand that the coup/criminals must be prosecuted for our way of life to continue; today’s impeachment should make it very clear.

    Today no-one is safe.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of destroying our lives (U.S. converting to a 3rd world country).

Justice and the Rule of Law is the only remedy.

PDJT is not stupid and has strategically allowed the coup to destroy themselves over the last 3-years and has checkmated all criminals for easy prosecutions.

PDJT knows this is a once in a lifetime gift (divine intervention) from the coup/criminals who were over confident and sloppy and left mountains of paper/digital trails of evidence everywhere, along with conflicting statements because they thought Hillary had a 99.9999% chance in being President. Like most criminals; their confidence and greed for more power/money destroyed them and they crossed the line into direct criminal acts.

Someone stated yesterday; PDJT is one of those Great “Lateral Thinkers” with indirect and creative approach, needed in All Wars.

IMO-PDJT implementing Justice will be his most important accomplishment known throughout history. Many do not understand that the Rule of Law (Justice) is the only way to save the Constitution. They are linear thinkers and believe and say (1) it has always been that way (2) we must move on (3) we do not understand.

The coup and globalist destroying the rule of law is being used as their Trojan Horse.

Again, PDJT is not stupid and doesn’t want to be the laughingstock person of the world throughout history.

PDJT has acknowledged criminal acts along with the American People creating a Bound Duty for PDJT to implement the criminal codes.

PDJT has many paths to implement Justice and has passed on many opportunities to implement Justice to ensure 100% checkmate on all criminals when the time is right.

PDJT will implement the criminal codes.

Enjoy watching PDJT implement his 3-years strategic plan of Justice.

The Swamp’s strategy here is to smear Trump. If they’d wanted to remove Trump, they’d have dug deep into the evidence and presented a pat hand to the Senate. The Swamp doesn’t dare do that, then or now, because hundreds of them would likely come under criminal investigation as a result. Biden is just the tip of the iceberg, and there are likely dozens of people in that Senate chamber who would be vulnerable, including Romney, Graham, McConnell, not just D’s.

The Swamp just wants to smear Trump, and can’t remove him without exposing themselves. This is a political trial, not a legal trial. McConnell can’t afford a legal trial, so he won’t allow one. He’s not doing this for Trump, he’s doing it to save his own skin, and his paymasters’.

Thus, nattering over technicalities doesn’t move the ball politically, and should be avoided. No subpoenas requested? Technically correct, but politically immaterial. The proper response is to point out the flawed nature of the House investigation itself, personalize it, illuminate instances where Schiff cut off due process and produced a truncated work product in violation of fairness. Do this periodically, not with venom but with firmness.

Schiff will yell liar liar liar throughout. He’s got a microphone, and political speech isn’t illegal, so why worry about it. Just deal with it and the aftermath.

Eventually, Schiff and Nadler will exhaust themselves with nobody watching. Politically, it feeds the true believers, but convinces few others. It’ll be a nothingburger because no real evidence will be allowed and it’s all political posturing. It’ll help Trump eventually, in several dimensions, and that’s all that I care about.

They also want to use impeachment votes to acquit against McSally, Tillis, Gardner and Collins, who are up for re-election. Collins is expected to have a tough re-election fight in a purple state, since the left is already after her for voting for Kavanaugh. McSally wasn’t doing well in the polls, although her take-down of the CNN reporter may have given her campaign new energy. Gardner is up against Hickenlooper in now-blue Colorado. Tillis is facing an increasingly purple North Carolina. The Dems want material for campaign attacks. This will explain some of the votes (just Collins so far).

On the other side, Doug Jones has been voting with the Dems so far, but his final vote on conviction will be interesting.

Controlling the Senate means controlling its agenda, including the judicial confirmation train, which Schumer would stop in its tracks. Collins appeared to dither on Kavanaugh, but came through on the final vote. She knows she’ll lose the GOP base in November if her vote isn’t to acquit. Anything before that is kabuki.

        FAKE NEWS!

This is a false narrative. The opposite is true. Republicans voting to acquit will only strengthen their chances, no matter where they are.

This is an intimidation tactic used by the Dems and media against the Republican Senators. They know that a Republican Senator voting to convict will totally ruin their chances of reelection. Any Senator voting to remove the President would probably lose at least 80% of their votes and maybe gain less than 10% back from independents.

Tillis may have a tight race in an increasingly purple state.

I wasn’t saying the Dems were right. I was just pointing out their strategy. Schumer is a sleaze, but he’s no idiot. Collins will do him no favors, but will do whatever it takes to get re-elected, which is a combination of shoring up her moderate and independent support as well as keeping the base happy. Tricky, but she’s done it before and does lead in the polls.

“I wasn’t saying the Dems were right. I was just pointing out their strategy.”

But you see, my point is that is NOT their strategy. They are only saying that is their strategy.

Why would they be telling the Senators, whom they want to LOSE, what their strategy will be?

Im saying their real strategy is to create an alternate universe in which R senators think they have to vote with the Dems to secure reelection.

It is simply illogical to think that voting against a President who enjoys the highest approval rating amongst his party in history, who created and presides over the greatest economic boom possibly in history, would HELP your chances at reelection, even in a “purple” state. PTs support has GROWN since 2016, not shrunk.

The truth is that any R senators voting AGAINST PDJT during this impeachment would be very badly damaged.

The Dems know this. So they are creating the impression that the opposite is true, to try to sway them to vote with the Ds, which will give the Ds a better chance to win the senate races.

This is another case where a truthful idea starts circulating in conservative circles, the Dems get wind of it, and basically steal it and try to spin the opposite narrative.

It reminds me of a few years ago when the LIBERALS started calling CONSERVATIVES, “SNOWFLAKES”.

WE had been calling THEM snowflakes because they were constantly offended at every little thing, always playing the victim card, etc, etc, etc…. “snowflake” being a very apt name for that.

Next thing you know, they are trying to call US snowflakes. Its laughable.

Another example off the top… right now we have the Dems “cover up” mantra going on. Same thing.

PDJT Trump isnt covering up anything. He is UNCOVERING something. Corruption and collusion with Ukraine.

JOE BIDEN was COVERING UP the corruption when he got the prosecutor fired. PDJT was just trying to UNCOVER it.

So the Dems call THAT a “COVER UP”.

The TRUTH is that Republican Senators, no matter what state they are in, breaking ranks with other Republicans on the impeachment issue, would be MORE vulnerable by voting against this president.

Dems and media respond by saying the opposite, that those senators will hurt their chances. The Dems WANT the Rs to HURT their chances because they know thats the only thing they have left that they can possibly accomplish, winning the Senate.

It has gotten to the point where you can identify truth and reality that you dont already know just by listening to the narratives being created and driven by the left, and asking yourself, “Ok, whats the opposite of that?”

    • I, too, would like to see the Senate do this. Because these articles are unconstitutional on their face. Now, it may well be that the Senate’s strategy is to “carefully let them both talk,” then ask both of them questions, and then decide on issues such as these … so that no one can brazenly accuse them of partisanship. (As, well, a very disrespectful and insulting Adam Schiff already did.)

And, since the Senate is authorized to try “all impeachments,” not merely “those who are impeached,” I am rather looking forward to the cross-examination phase. I have lots of hard questions for these people that no one has been able to ask them for the past four years. 😡

“Lawfare, Inc.” has proven to be a direct enemy of our system of government, doing irreparable harm to the nation. I want to see them and their minions in the House answer for it. And I really want to see Adam Schiff go to jail. I am dumbfounded that the House does not have the cojones to censure and then to expel him.

They may feel showing the first part a,second time only reinforces the Dem argument.

And, it depends on WHO DJT’s legal team feels is their audience: the Senate, the voters, both or specifically those Senators they feel could be moved, either D or R.

And on that last question, frankly I am not sure how they should play it, as the correct answer may well be “all of the above”.

A difficult needle to thread, since arguments pitched at one group, could be counterproductive for another.

Fortunately DJT’s team has both the Law AND the Facts on their side.

And pounding their fists on the table, and even setting their hair on fire, can’t overcome that. Particularly since the House Dems don’t have ONE impressive orator on their team.

    Folks, I urge calm.
There is no legal, valid, impeachment that has occurred in the House (the only place where it can occur under the Constitution).
The facts of the House (inaction) cannot be changed.
For tactical and political reasons, the House did not vote to authorize the full judicial impeachment process. Without such a vote, the House did not gain judicial enforcement authority. This is fact.
The non-impeachment by the House is fatally defective. Legally, it does not exist.
Neither the Senate, nor any court of law, can cure this fatal defect.
This fatal defect lasts forever. It cannot be cured. There is no “case or controversy.”
Neither the Senate, nor any court, can validly hear the case — because no case — no House vote/action — exists.
This fatal defect can be raised at any time and on appeal, with only one result: case dismissed in two minutes.

So what’s the only way the Democrat’s can stop him? By winning the Senate. I think the Democrats are trying to provoke Trump. his legal team, and Senate Republicans into sound bites they can use to defeat Republican Senators in purple states.

      Make this simple for you;
      “Nothing else makes sense”.
This is the essence of your dillemma. I too have struggled for some time with this,..dilemma.
When Sundance first posted his detailed and prescient analyses of the House Dem strategy, i.e. that Nancy was changing the rules, etc. in order to use Impeachment NOT to actually remove Trump, but as a political weopon, I posted at the time that while I accepted Sundances (now accurate) prediction, I didn’t see how it could POSSIBLY work.

      I still don’t.

The dillemma is in trying to make sense of the non-sensical. The only rational conclusion is that our enemy are in a confirmation bubble, and stuck in a closed loop.

There isn’t ONE person in their group, capable of seeing, much less standing up in one of their strategy sessions and voicing the obvious.
“This is STUPID! This is WRONG! This is Counter-Productive, cutting off our nose to spite our face! THIS will NEVER work!”

Anyone capable of seeing, much less saying this, has been driven from their deliberations, long ago. They are called #walkaways.

So, I suggest that trying to ‘make sense’of the Dems actions is an excercise in futility, a ‘fools errand’, trying to find something that simply doesn’t exist.

      IMHO,…

I think Nadler’s “Lies! Lies! Lies!” may have turned off the other RINOs. The Senate is a smaller group of legislators, and they know each other, see each other every day, and have to get along. Klobuchar may throw her binder at an employee, for example but to each other they are fairly courteous.

And when they are on the Senate floor, there is a certain decorum to be observed. They care about their public image and screaming “Lies!,” even at 1:30 in the morning isn’t their style.

The more obnoxious the House managers are, the better for Trump. After a week of this, how many would want more witnesses and documents to drag this out?

  26. I think that the recent letter by numerous State Attorneys General might well turn out to have the intended effect, by casting the Democrat’s (and Lawfare’s …) actions in the very proper light of being something that the architects of our nation clearly foresaw.

As the various State AG’s observe – my words here, not theirs – this really has nothing much to do with President [Trump]. (As the various memes have said, “he just got in the way.”) It really is about the Constitution. It really is about the very things that some of the people who now appear on our currency, writing more than 230 years ago, foresaw. Instead of a Congress, they would have a Parliament. These thoroughly-anticipated radicals would have our country be governed by one half of one Branch of our Government. (Witness the utter contempt that they had yesterday for the Senate.) Both the Presidency and the Supreme Court would serve at the pleasure of the House of Representatives, which in turn would be ruled by the most generous wallets on the planet.

    In other words: tyranny.

Media trying to paint the narrative that there is real pressure on Republican Senators who are up for re-election in supposedly swing states, to vote to approve new evidence, docs, and witnesses. That if they DONT vote the DEMS way, they will be hurting their chances at winning reelection. That if the R senators vote to acquit, their opponents will use that against them and they will be hurt politically because of it.

    THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE.

ANY R senator giving ANY credence to this sham, especially by voting to convict, will RUIN their chances of being reelected.

Donald J Trump has the highest approval rating among his party of any President in history.

The Dems and media are bluffing. They are trying to divide. As many have said here recently…

The democrats’ intent was to suck up all the oxygen this week by captivating the media attention Wednesday through Friday. Thus the media hyenas will have the whole weekend to promote the prosecution’s agenda without any blowback from the president’s defense team.

(On a side note , Tulsi Gabbard announced today that she has filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Hillary Clinton in a New York federal court for calling her a “Russian asset” last October. At the time, Gabbard’s attorneys warned that she might sue, and so the congresswoman from Hawaii finally delivered on that threat this morning.
Perhaps the president should sue all the House & Senate Democrats who constantly make similar claims against him?)

I hope TRUMP’s Team brings into evidence all the changes NItwit Tehran Nan put into the House rules. These changes alone show that this was a planned event.

In fact, they should blow the lid off the all the corruptocrats that are now behind the scenes working with the DIMs, whether on the payroll or not, on the impeachment* scam and trying to save their axxes. Who they are, who they are married to, what they did before, including their roles in RussiaGate/SpyGate, and where they are now.

Call it: Cast of Corrupt Characters

They should put their Bios (what I listed above) together and put it in a Playbook to hand out to the Senators.

They had chances yesterday and declined. After an amendment motion, they had two hours to debate it. House Managers took several minutes to talk their case. Trumps team spent a couple of minutes rebutting, then the House Managers came up again for another 10 minutes of bs, then Trumps team did not go back and rebut people like Schiff and Nadler. They let their statements stand.

Perhaps they were tired or figured they shouldn’t get in the weeds but I wanted to see more fight, more pushback against the lies.

For instance Schiff said Trumps team did not want a fair trial. They should have responded about the unfair process in the House and make the point that the fair part is fairness to Trump, not fairness to Congressmen or Senators.

Schiff also said his process was fair and R’s could call any witness. That is patently absurd but there was no pushback and those statements were allowed to stand.

Are they keeping their powder dry, have a deeper strategy, or are they incompetent about what is really going on around them?

Well, after watching CNN and listening to Schumer after the debacle yesterday, it is clear the Dem House Managers completely demolished the Trump defense team.

They said the House Managers laid out a very well documented case of impeachment and the Trump lawyers didn’t defend anything but just attacked the House Managers.

Now how can reasonable people come to two separate conclusions about what went on yesterday? How could Schumer or any other Dem Senator not have heard about the unconstitutional process, the lack of a proper Impeachment proceeding, the inherent unfairness of Schiff getting to veto any Republican witnesses he doesn’t want testifying, and the debacle of the totally partisan, weakest impeachment in the history of the country?

How does that happen? These are supposed to be leaders in our country and they can’t even see that, or they do but ignore it for partisan gain?

That’s the plan to attack the legal team (histronic, fox news types, liars)….in a nutshell portrayed as Trump cultists. That’s why I love the Patrick Philbin lawyer who was like an antidote to that plan of attack of the House Managers. I thought it was very unfortunate and unfair that Justice Roberts admonished both sets of legal teams when Nadler specifically attacked the Senate and WH legal team as engaging in a coverup. Democrats have to attack the legal team to coverup their own unfair process in the House to the president.

They are basically correct….SCOTUS has already ruled on “impeachment” in (Judge) Nixon vs US.:(1993)

” A unanimous Court held that the question of whether or not the Senate rule violated the U.S. Constitution was nonjusticiable since the Impeachment clause expressly granted that the “Senate shall have sole Power to try any impeachments.”

IMO, the SCOTUS could rule on Constitutional issue such as Senate changing conviction vote or penalty, but that’s about it. (IANAL)
