Source Identified – IG FISA Report Identifies One Confidential Human Source Leading to Audit of FBI Activity…

Yesterday we identified one FBI Confidential Human Source who was part of the Trump campaign [SEE HERE].  Today we identify another, more interesting, one.

Throughout the 478-page IG report on FBI FISA misconduct there are several mentions of Confidential Human Sources (CHSs) who were either officially “tasked” or unofficially involved in the 2016 FBI investigation of the Trump campaign.

The inspector general review of the CHS activity is fraught with examples of the FBI denying many of the numerous “non-tasked” sources were acting in an official capacity.

The inspector general’s office knowing the FBI were lacking candor is one thing; however, proving that is another matter entirely.  The ‘having to take them at their word‘ dynamic appears throughout the chapters on the use of Confidential Human Sources.

Horowitz report shows the level of denial and justification by FBI officials in Washington DC surrounding the deployment of human sources stretches credulity. It really is quite something to take the totality of the FBI denials, for repeated and specific events, place them all together and then determine all of this is just random, happenstance activity.

Despite FBI denials, perhaps because of them; and despite the IG not being able to find specific evidence that would refute their denials; the IG found far too many coincidences for all of the activity to be coincidental.  This led to Inspector General Horowitz writing a break-out report on just the use of Confidential Human Sources [Nov. 19, 2019].

CTH has identified another key “non-tasked” (their claim) CHS that appears to have been the final straw for Horowitz amid a mountain of FBI denials.  The FBI claims around this specific person is what eventually led to the November 19th, 2019, break out report.

[NOTE: I am identifying these redacted individuals and sources because there is a bigger issue at stake.  There is growing evidence of an ongoing battle within the current FBI.  One side wants to push out the truth, the other side is intent on hiding it.]

Continuing from yesterday…. we turn to page #338.  This one is key, and please don’t skip the actual reading of the highlighted pages below (even if you have to read multiple times).

Keep in mind, the issues around this specific source was the final straw for Inspector General Horowitz to decide to do the breakout report on FBI standards and practices for the use of confidential human sources.

Footnote #476 is part of the puzzle to id this source.  Notice the handling agent was contacted in October 2016 for assistance “serving a court order”.  Notice also that footnote #476 pertains to a later contact in “March 2017”.  There’s a very specific source who has openly discussed these events in the media.

The descriptions of the “Handling Agent”, “Case Agent”, and “Co-Case Handling Agent” are specific, purposeful and useful.  However, it is the tell-word “hobby” that finally outlines the identification of this Confidential Human Source….  The CHS has self-described using this exact word in media appearances.

These senior FBI official denials are where it gets ridiculous.  These denials are the straw that led to the November 19th report.   Notice how these denials actually contradict the material in/around fn #476 where FBI main office was informed of the activity surrounding this CHS.

[Note specifics, it helps to confirm the id] James Comey, Bill Priestap and Peter Strzok all deny knowing what this confidential human source was doing….

The source is Patrick Byrne.

You might remember when CTH originally outlined the FBI methods Patrick Byrne was describing we specifically noted the form of contact and instruction was created with built-in plausible deniability.   Now we see that denial in action.

BACKGROUND Link Here

You can follow the link to watch all of Byrnes’ interviews.  There is no doubt the CHS described (starting on page #338 of the report) is him.

I believe Patrick Byrne.

I do not believe the DC-based FBI denials of knowledge.

…neither does Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

…hence Horowitz wrote the IG report on CHS issues.

♦ Final thought: To the FBI person(s) inside the machine trying to break out the truth…. just keep doing what you are doing.  CTH can see it.

During the Obama Administration, and continuing up to the present, the FBI has operated as a de facto criminal enterprise in furtherance of a politically motivated coup to remove from office a duly elected president. This is past-tense criminal activity by persons in a position of trust. These facts exist. They do not disappear because of media propaganda or snark emitted by Christopher Wray. Reality does not change simply because it is not politically correct in the minds of the deluded. If Barr does not address this problem and fix it, then the FBI becomes functionally an enemy of the citizenry. No man or woman of honor should remain a part of this treason. If Barr is unwilling, they mass resignations might actually make a dent in the problem. We can only pray that they find the strength and resolve to do the right thing.

I honestly think that we at CTH may be underestimating the pervasiveness, vileness, and violence of the rot.

How vile? For example, our FBI, Lon Horiuchi, FBI Special Agent, USMA class of ’76, Sniper, Ruby Ridge, in 1992, under Bush 41. Massacre of the Weaver family based on an entrapment, personally shot Vicky Weaver THROUGH HER BABY AND POSED WITH THEIR BODIES. Our FBI, our West Point. To the elites, we toothless hillbillies are not even animals.

The rot is deeper and more vile than you can imagine. Please tell me again about the “…honest line agents” at the FBI. Or just ask Catherine Engelbrecht and her husband, and their employees about their life from 2009 to today… “True the Vote” must be destroyed, said Holder, and Jarret. And the FBI, the IRS, the Dept. of Labor, and EPA, and every deartment and agency of the feds set out to destroy the Engelbrechts, and nearly succeeded. Most of us have neither the heart, nor the resources to fight like they did. And we are idiots if we think this started in 2015, or 2016…

And I know that Lon is one that is a unusually vile, but still… We are dealing with extremely vile, evil, and violently destructive people that all want a chance at the “Rep. and Mrs. Mike Rogers’ payday.” And as you know from the gangs of New York, people kill over money, all the time. Imagine what we think of as the modern day elites, and imagine all these people ensconced in unfireable civil service protected positions or incumbency sinecures… And then imagine being Trump, and Barr, and Durham… Trying to thread a multitude of camels through the eye of several needles…

Do not ever imagine LEOs and Officers of of the Armed forces, and bureaucrats at ANY level are ALL patriots and will stand with us. Most of them are dancing to the paymaster-piper’s tune. When SHTF, they will inevitably ask themselves, “What do i love most? You or my paycheck, and the dental insurance for my kids braces…”

Uh, the FBI HRT was dispatched to bring the ATF/USMS-generated standoffs at both Ruby Ridge (Randy Weaver) and Waco (David Korean and the Branch Davidians) to an end. I’m not justifying/condoning/excusing the horrific losses of life endings of both incidents but perhaps you should try to look at the underlying events/federal investigations and spread the blame to include those others within the USG (primarily the ATF and secondarily the USMS) who precipitated (ATF by targeting Weaver and Koresh and conducting ill-conceived investigations and arrest/search raids) and inflamed (USMS by killing Weaver’s son and participating in ill-conceived arrest/search raids) both events. In both incidents the FBI HRT was handed what is known In common parlance as an excrement sandwich. Both of those events from beginning to end were egregiously mismanaged and carried out by a multitude of USG entities.

Well yeah, I know that. Just because I only focused on the sniper doesn’t mean I don’t also hate the others involved that led up to that. Of course you’re right. In fact, I was still a Dem back then, and generally supported Clinton, but after Ruby Ridge and Waco I started to hate the guy… and yeah, I was a Dem. So when I mention a certain name or whatever, it’s like if I had said something about William Calley and left out other names… that SURE doesn’t mean I don’t feel the same about all the others involved.

I’m in Las Vegas this week for a much needed break and unexpectedly ran into someone who is head of a worthy organization. It was totally random, since we got lost wandering off the beaten track and this guy we saw at a bus stop was very kind in giving directions.

After some casual conversations he told us about his organization and the difference between the current President and his predecessor in terms of turning pessimism to optimism within the inner cities.

Lots of pro-Trump sentiment and disgust with Obama.

It turns out that Trump’s relationship with organized crime is a lot more complicated than Cruz’s allegations suggest. The developer actually helped government agents investigate the mob during the 1980s, according to the former head of New York State’s organized crime task force. After a press conference at which the task force issued a report on the mob’s grip on legitimate businesses in New York, Trump approached the team and offered his assistance. “After we issued our interim report and we were considering various way of reforming and restructuring the industry, Trump offered to be of whatever help he could and we did take him up on his offer and we talked from time to time and he provided insights into the industry and construction process,” Ronald Goldstock told Fast Company.” https://www.fastcompany.com/3057495/state-investigative-report-on-trump-shows-complexity-of-alleged-mob-ties

Wayne Jett’s Fruits of Graft and anything by Joe Farrell, Ph.D. are indispensable reads. It’s important to understand that the Great Depression, WWI, WWII, and the Korean and Viet Nam Wars were all engineered, both in planning and execution but just as importantly in the numerous lies about them that were spread as total propaganda. The Nazis won WWII and Churchill and Roosevelt, Truman, and Eisenhower all collaborated to make sure that fascism spread world wide, but particularly in the US by importing thousands of Nazis into the CIA, NASA, our military, and academia. The Bush Crime Family are hard core fascist goons. 9/11 was a false flag to get an almost iron grip of fascism on the US with the Patriot Act and other fascist security state take downs of key Constitutional liberties. The terrorist state of Israel was formed as one of the new world headquarters of criminality and to be used as a divide and conquer wedge by the criminals running the UK and the US to dominate global energy. It had nothing whatsoever to do with a founding a homeland for Jews after a million or fewer Jews were sacrificed by Zionist terrorists.

He has exposed every co-conspirator one-by-one. He has figured out much of the redacted text. The gift of Sundance just keeps on coming.

All that is going to be left to do is for Durham to get them sent to jail. Seriously, how hard is that to do at this point. Sundance keeps adding pieces to the puzzle. Some continue to say to be patient it is going to take 6 months longer (August). Then, of course, they’ll say after 11.3. What part of the puzzle don’t they understand? Nothing, imo. They just don’t know what to do with all the pieces already exposed (to paraphase SD’s comment re: Barr).

If we know, they know, but I digress. Great job Sundance.

Having a “strong opinion” about when the FBI is brought to heel seems ill advised, given that they are only one piece of the tesseract… What did Churchill use to say about USSR? A mystery, wrapped in an enigma? Or something like that.

Always remember, never forget, that it took us 115 years to get here. From Teddy Roosevelt and the progressive professional civil service movement, and Woodrow Wilson and the 17th amendment that emasculated the republic, giving time for the rot to root deeply and pervasively.

We need to learn from Josef Stalin, who, in 1928 or 1929, having accepted that Marxist victory was impossible as long as American capitalism and Christianity existed, endorsed Antonio Gramsci’s plan as the only viable alternative. Even though the timeline was 70 to 80 years, 3 generations. And they did it. They achieved their goal, look at our schools, and our children coming out of them.

It took progressives 75 years to achieve their goals. This is a generational fight we are into.

You don’t seriously believe the propaganda about Russia all made up and fomented by a bunch of criminally insane Zionists like Marx, and Lenin so that the fascist world empire could have a permanent albeit fictitious enemy. The Zionist terrorist state of Israel was all part of that plan hatched before WWI culminating in nut job Zionists sacrificing about a million of their brethren to the Nazis death camps so the empire could get a wedge in the resource rich Middle East to make Muslims into another permanent enemy. Also, the way he described his interactions with Maria and the FBI does not make it sound like he would be passing over 5 packets of material on varied topics (not impossible, but not what he described as his role). If he really accumulated such “dossiers” and handed them to the FBI (as compared with advising and informing upon Maria in a more passive background role) then he is still being very deceptive about his role on his “come clean” interviews and articles.

I was just reading a 2018 report about a particular FBI agent and a CHS:

The OIG investigation substantiated the allegations that the SA received gifts, including money
and items of value from the CHS, in violation of federal regulations regarding standards of
conduct for federal employees and FBI policy. The OIG further found that the SA: continued to
use the CHS after the CHS had been deactivated by the FBI; protected the CHS and the CHS’s
illegal business; misused FBI assets for personal gain; and committed computer security
violations, all in violation of federal regulations and FBI policy. The OIG also found that the SA
improperly withheld information related to a state criminal investigation from a local police
department, and provided false information to the police department regarding the CHS’s
status as an FBI CHS, which actions were wholly inconsistent with the SA’s obligations as a
federal law enforcement officer. The OIG also found that the SA lacked candor with the FBI and
the OIG, in violation of FBI policy.

Wow, lots of wrongdoing there. Providing false info to police, protecting an illegal business, misusing FBI assets for personal gain, and more. But it will never end because

Criminal prosecution of the SA was declined.

Dear President Trump, can you get some people with spines into the DOJ? Prosecute the scum.

I also recommend that the DOJ/FBI change their language. Stop using “lacked candor” and just put “lied”. Why be flowery about it? We’re talking about invesigators and prosecutors here, are they too delicate?

The OIG is there to document process nonconformance and can only speak to observations of objective fact. The fact objectively being observed by the OIG reviewer in this case is “lacked candor.” They are not there to prove or disprove a lie.

Regardless of the opinion the OIG reviewer might have about the observation, they will report what they observed. They have developed a unique nomenclature accordingly. They need to minimize the motive to lie. It is fundamentally a discovery confirmation process and should not be an adversarial process.

If they objectively observe apparent crimes or wrongdoing, they will so report their observation of same as a non-conformance adding a referral for evaluation of potential crimes. There are not there to issue opinions or investigate crimes.

OIG has a good and important mission. Somebody needs to be routinely auditing government process to ensure conformance. Non-conformances drive criminal investigations. Non-conformances also drive crucial and essential process correction and reform.

Why is this important? Our federal agencies are administrated entities. There is little meaningful distributed management authority. They are executing law and policy; policing; administrating outcomes. There is very little distributed authority for lawful variance, managed outcomes or special process; i.e., there is no distributed authority to adjust or modulate the rules, only to execute them via predetermined boundaries and processes.

This broken dichotomy is unique to government and quasi-government entities and typically found only in the most disfunctional of commercial entities.

80% of any process can be administrated; 20% must be managed; and, 20% of the latter must be managed as special process with executive authority. Healthy organizations seamlessly shuffle between modes of control, sorting as they go.

An analogy: Pilots know how weather can hit the windscreen. Then there’s the occasional bird, but onward you fly making corrections here and there. The rules are known and will be obeyed with minor variations in the predetermined process.

But sometimes you get the goose. That’s when everything changes. No matter what the book says, you are now managing a special process and taking executive action.

Pulling an FBI investigation up to the 7th Floor is another example of a special process with executive authority.

One problem. They didn’t have executive authority over the rules, only over the employees.

There is no stopping the repercussions for their maladministration and breeches of trustee and fiduciary duty.

I’ve posted this elsewhere but here it is again: Lack of candor is much more inclusive than merely lying (as if somehow merely lying is better….) which is saying something that is untrue which you know to be untrue when you say it. Lack of candor also includes NOT saying something you know to be truthful when a reasonable person would infer they had an obligation/responsibility to say it. Lack of candor is both lying (overt commission of lying) and not being forthcoming (covert omission of truth telling). It’s not telling the whole truth which is technically different than deliberately misrepresenting facts or as we call it…lying. I don’t know the particulars of the incidents but perhaps lying wasn’t the issue but not being forthcoming was. IMO, not saying something known to be truthful that would shed welcomed light in a given situation/investigation or perhaps appropriately re-directing that light is just as harmful as overt lying because both delay/prevent discovery of truth and allow the perpetuation of lies. It may actually be more harmful because “good” men and women can console themselves and soothe their consciences with the thought that they are “good” because at least they they didn’t lie even though their failure to relay something they knew is truthful helps (even unwittingly) perpetuate overt lies told by someone else.

It’s still shocking to see the evidence of malignant normalization; how normalized the wrongdoing has become and how dehumanized the senior FBI culture has become.

The internal rhetoric being revealed speaks not of people but of subjects. There was a depravity of unpersoning in the rhetoric and routine in what has been revealed about the agency temperament, disposition and ordinary practice.

It’s as if the “ruling cohort” had completely succumbed to an institutional psychosis. The very finest Zombies money could hire.

Here I think Lindsay Graham and other are still in denial. This is not abnormal. This is a crisis of NORMAL agency behavior; the exposed dehumanization and malignant administration has become the normal culture of most federal agencies and their executive tradition.

Blame what we will, nothing changes the requisite depravity that accompanies the cultural malignancy that grips the ruling generation of federal agency culture.

It’s the sepsis. A very dangerous sepsis that soul murders those we hire to work in these agencies; normalizes the worst of behavior and will to preserve and defend the denial.

If our agencies cannot be formed to better flush out the most depraved and distempered employees and remove them, the worst among them will aggregate to power and ultimately dominate the culture and workings of the agency. Sociopaths will dominate and eventually select for a psychopath to dominate the institution. History is full of these examples whether the institutions is a church, a corporation, a university, a government or a nation.

“Inhibiting critical thinking in the masses obviously benefits the state and psychopaths. When overtly self-serving, irresponsible, illegal, immoral, irrational behavior gets treated as normal, we can conclude that the educational system works quite well for our masters. I have given but one example, yet the multitude of state functions exists to provide every variety of psychopathic interest with a job. Moreover, we should consider that the state not only acts like a recruitment center for psychopaths, but that psychopaths probably invented the state to take advantage of the rest of us. I can give you no better explanation for the existence of an organization that fails in every ethical dimension and invokes psychopathic thinking at every turn than this.

Our battle for liberty appears not just as a conflict between those who want freedom versus those who want control, but instead as the battle between normal people and the psychopaths. I have found incredible explanatory power of our world within the psychopathic hypothesis: The world feels wrong because psychopaths run it. In a country trained to discount and ridicule all ideas more than a standard deviation from the average, coherent explanations of observable social phenomena don’t get much press. Without understanding physical laws, we would never have gained the massive improvements in our quality of life from technological developments. Similarly, without understanding our social systems, we will never escape from the tyranny unleashed on us by psychopaths. We should spread the word and explore this rich vein of thought with vigor.”

The CHS program at FBI is a joke that simply got worse.
Read about the ‘unorthodox and GROUNDBREAKING’ (pp88) agreement with Steele.

Steele dictates the terms of the agreement (“Pipeline 1″ and ‘Pipeline 2”) and
the info he WILL and WILL NOT share (he held back several ‘memos’)
“FBI was unaware at the time that Steele had not made available to the FBI all of the reports”
    (pp 103-4)

“Steele stated that he never recalled being told that he was a CHS and that he never would have
accepted such an arrangement, despite the fact that he signed FBI admonishment
and payment paperwork indicating that he was an FBI CHS.

    Ft 205
‘During his time as FBI CHS, Steele received a total of $95,000 from the FBI….the paperwork for these payments each which required Steeles’s SIGNED acknowledgement….On each document of which there was EIGHT was the caption “CHS’s PAYMENT”

    Hilarity continues……
“the first time the Crossfire Hurricane team accessed Steele’s Delta file was in November 2016′

They didn’t even do the most basic check of their own Steele CHS file until sometime in November

Finally it’s interesting to go back and watch Comey’s “made of stone’ appearance before SJC
MAY 3 2017 BEFORE HE WAS FIRED
Grassely was onto all of this way back then……..
    Truly astounding. (2:42:00 mark)

Not convinced. Byrne stated that his handlers, were efffectively trying to dirty up the Trump Campaign by getting him to introduce BUTINA to various people. Wheras, the Handlers in this case were, remarkably, ProTrump. Also the Hobby side of things, seems wrong. Someone whom would provide reams of information, to the FBI, as a hobbie, and is anti Clinton Foundation, would be: STEVE BANNON. I think it is STEVE BANNON, but, much like Jon Snow, I actually know nothing.

From the IG Report – revised – report pages xvi-xvii or pdf pages 20-21

We found no evidence that the FBI used CHSs or UCEs to interact with members of the Trump campaign prior to the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

After the opening of the investigation, we found no evidence that the FBI placed any CHSs or UCEs within the Trump campaign or tasked any CHSs or UCEs to report on the Trump campaign.

Finally, we also found no documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivations influenced the FBI’s decision to use CHSs or UCEs to interact with Trump campaign officials in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

From the box right under the Page 338 box –
“”He characterized the CHS’s (redacted) involvement as the sources “hobby” or “outside interests.”

Confusing. Which source’s hobby? The Confidential Human Source’s hobby, or the CHS’s source’s hobby?
This seems to be a reference to Byrnes and bitcoin, and “bitcoin” fits the part redacted.

In the McCallum interview (23 Aug 2019 post referenced), Byrne is telling McCallum of his second “romance” with Butina.
At 19:42 there is what seems to be a throwaway line, which McCaullum ignores –

19:42 – “…and I did that at the same time I set up X, Y, and Z for some felony charges.”
Why? Who else knew? Was Byrne told to do that? If so, who told him?

Byrne initially tells McCallum the work he is doing with the FBI was to blackmail Clinton, Rubio, Cruz, and Trump. McCallum never touches that and the blackmail part is never mentioned again.
    Some reporter, huh?

  36. “You know the CIA — a bunch of bitchy little girls.” (said by ex-agent Sam Ax, on “Burn Notice”). I have mentioned this here before.

ALL of the players in this ongoing coup d’etat against America were and are “bitchy little girls”.

Sam Ax, or whoever put those words in that character’s mouth, was prescient about our present situation with regard to the weaponized Obama (a.k.a. “Insane Left” Democrat, plus “NeverTrump” globalists) Deep State.

Sundance has produced a wealth of penetrating articles, covering all aspects of this national/world mess/tragedy. It took Sam Ax only 10 words. Just amazing. I can only salute such penetrating insight.

Ban “bitchy little girls” in the federal government. It’s that simple (hee-hee-hee…I know, I know, don’t you think I know?) Then maybe we would see some indictments, trials, and hard sentences. Schiff and Pelosi would be sentenced to life…AOC too, and so on. Barry “Barack Hussein” Obama/Soetoro, too, of course.

Politics is violence and political government is the bane of humanity; it is not Christian. Voting is an act of violence. The Bible teaches ;us that the troika of evil, that wicked consort of politics, commerce and false religion, will be destroyed in the end.
