Oh Snap – Senator Lindsey Graham Pledges to Block Testimony of U.S. Politicians Coordinating With Ukraine…

Senator Lindsey Graham appears on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo and announces he will take all appropriate efforts to stop the truth about Ukraine from being exposed in the Senate.   This interview is a critical first step to understanding motives. CTH will expand in the next few posts that will highlight *WHY* Graham will bury information.

First, watch Senator Graham say unequivocally he will not call witnesses and will quickly move to dismiss the House impeachment effort.  Pay close attention to the part where Graham says calling congressmen to testify is dangerous, and he will not call Adam Schiff because he does not want to go down this path.

.

These comments by Senator Lindsey Graham are very self serving. Why?… Because Senator Graham participated in the exploitation of Ukraine for his own benefit. In essence Graham is fearful that too much inquiry into what took place with Ukraine in 2014 through 2016 will expose his own participation and effort along with former Ambassador Marie Yovanovich.

Graham is attempting to end the impeachment effort because the underlying discoveries have the potential to expose the network of congressional influence agents, John McCain and Graham himself included, during any witness testimony.

Yes, I’ve been telling people that the Republicans in the senate will not be exposing any of the corruption in the Ukraine, or the dems colluding with the whistle blower.

So Lindsey Graham has it rigged so that the Democrats can go around crowing how they impeached President Trump with out giving President Trump or any of us due process.

If he hasn’t the stones to get to the bottom of this, he should get out of the way and let someone who realizes that Lindsey Graham is doing a lot of damage to our country.

Trump knows this and he will help Lindsey walk the straight and narrow path, serving the country, the President and his own best interest..

After Trumps second term, most will be true believers.

Sen. Graham has had at least two meetings with AG Barr over the past months, one before the “whistleblower” blew his whistle, and one since, IIRC. Both while he was Chairman of SJC, which I assume is why he can get a private meeting with the AG!

Question: has Graham been cutting a deal, while pretending to be putting the weight of the Senate behind Barr? Would / could Barr do business that way?

If Graham defects, it puts Senator Burr of SSCI in a leading position, and I assume Burr (/Warner) is dirty as hell. I wonder if enough Senators are dirty enough to convince the Senate Majority Dirtbag, Mitch that the only way to avoid losing his majority is to defect from supporting the President. But it feels like there’s a groundswell of awareness in recent days that the House Peach Mint Pie is full of dog poop. Jesus, what a mess.

Is Trump gonna have to say “Hold my Diet Pepsi” and drop the big one, declassification? Magic 8-ball says “Signs say Maybe”.

Thing is, we’ve no way of knowing how San Fran Nan and her patrons want to play this. They’d sacrifice Schiff, but what else would they sacrifice? How many GOP Senate seats would be lost v. Dem seats? Is that part of Nancy’s calculus?

Graham is also protecting a whole bunch of other Congressmen/women because the number who have made money in Ukraine is huge. We know of Kerry, Biden, Pelosi, Schiff, Romney and many others who have had “Investments” in Ukraine. If we know of this many now, we can only guess how many there really are. I suspect McConnell is involved too otherwise he would pull Graham from the committee and assign someone who is capable.

I will watch the interview but I’ve already seen one quote of his appearance(s) today taken out of context & framed to mean something it didn’t

Sem Graham is a very polarizing figure, people either love him or hate him, or they like him one minute & hate the next, or they just don’t know what to make of him & harbor doubts & suspicions – all of that mey be deserved

I’m just saying, he has some influence in the Senate, his Committee is the oldest & most important, it has jurisdiction over impeachment; he’s also very sly & knows how to choose his spots…. the outcome I desire is acquittal, not exposing anyone or seeing the House Dems drag the Senate into the hell they’ve created

William Roper: “Yes, I’d cut down every law in England to do that!”

Sir Thomas More: “Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned ’round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man’s laws, not God’s! And if you cut them down, and you’re just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake!”

He did not bend to Congress’ demands over the Mueller Report or its underlying evidence, nor did he fail to fight their contempt threats & subpoenas in the 2020 Census matter.

PT team can submit their list of witnesses but the final witnesses need to be jointly approved by McConnell and Schumer and based on the rules they set.

A Senate impeachment trial Does Not automatically grant to PT the normal Federal Rules of Evidence as is the case in all other Federal trials.

Roberts then oversees the trial based on THE rules McConnell and Schumer agree to.

SCOTUS won’t touch the subject of Senate Impeachment trial. IIRC, Justice Rehnquist was asked how he approached the Clinton trial and he said by deferring to the Senate Rules. The trial is basically a Legislative administrative hearing and essentially extra-judicial. The Constitution is very clear that the penalty is removal from office only and possible exclusion from holding future gov’t office. Criminal proceeding are referred to the judiciary. If the Senate trial was a judicial proceeding, it would be a Bill of Attainder and un-Constitutional. IIRC, United States vs Nixon was “judicial” in that it involved a special prosecutor, D.C. Circuit and not the impeachment process per se. IANAL, so I may be full of sh*t but so far in my reading of primary sources, that seem to be the way the process works. Of course with only two trials in 230 years who knows how it could go, especially since “crazy” has taken over the Dems.

This is going to get interesting. “First, watch Senator Graham say unequivocally he will not call witnesses.” He and Mitch will have a lot of interest but ultimately it’s not his decision. Unlike the Clinton trial which was pretty much scripted with a known outcome, a PDJT Senate trial could be a real CF sh*t show. In the Clinton trial, the Judiciary Comm. procedures were approved by the Senate 100-0 but the question of whether to call witnesses was put off until the trial was underway.

I haven’t a clue if the Dems want witnesses or not and its likely that a few hardcore pro-Trump Senators would go against Lindsey and Mitch and support witnesses; so how would the vote count go? I truly despise Lindsey Graham for he is nothing but a political whore at best then again he has 99 plenty of company in the most corrupt club in the entire world. The US Senate. You could find enough honest people in that group to have a 5 on 5 basketball game.

SHV, and and earlier, today, SD post, had this comment. Specifically, the part about Cruz, Kennedy, and Blackburn. I thought it was right on point to Graham’s comments

“Ted Cruz is a wild card but if Lindsey’s “sweep the corruption under the rug” is the plan of the GOPe Senate leadership, then Ted is likely the leader of a trio of Kennedy, Blackburn and himself to throw sand in the gears. If the House votes out Articles of Impeachment, what happens in the Senate Judiciary committee will be very interesting. The Clinton “trial” was highly scripted (the SJC rules were approved 100-0) with a known outcome; this Senate trial may be a wild ride.”

Ted Cruz has been an idiot about 90% of the time over the past few years. But there’s also that 10% where he seems like a different person. So yeah, if Ted wants to be a hero in all this… I’ll gladly root for him.

IG Report tomorrow so come Tuesday someone MUST ask AG Barr………..

Has Durham or Barr deposed Jullian Assange? If the answer is no, then why not?

But if no then IMO America has its answer.

    And if no ask yourself,…….

What kind of investigation would ignore a fact witness and especially one who has first hand knowledge of how Wikileaks got the DNC emails and could prove the Mueller investigation and the 3rd party report was false when it stated that it was Russia who gave the emails to Wikileaks?

IMO, one question and one answer will tell it all.

Yeah, rather than call witnesses and get to the bottom of Schiff’s corruption, “that’s what elections are for.” No, Lindsey, elections do not prevent the misuse of congressional power and corruption, sunlight does. Lindsey seems to advocate that we should all ignore the corruption so long as Trump wins in 2020. Sorry Lindsey, but what about the next conservative president who is not as strong as or will fight like our POTUS? Stop covering up and do your job man; otherwise it’s time to vote your corrupt ass out!

Their trying not to be caught! To late!

We all know, they a majority have been “stealing” taxpayer dollars and doing it under the guise of aid. Kick backs money laundering, a lot effort has gone into setting up the process of funneling money back to congressional members over the years and that process was set about by the CIA.

As President Trump has said “its bad really really bad” ! Seems they wish to continue to steal from us!
We need to look at actually how these people are reelected for decades.

Money, money, money. Let’s track it all, where does money come from, where is money directed, what is the extent of the kickbacks? Weapons trafficking is pretty lucrative, energy pipelines especially overseas are sources of massive amounts of bribes.
Democrats have opened this Pandoras Box, let’s see it all. I want to find out everything especially about all the political players, the money involved, the rape of U.S. Taxpayers and our great United States.

Posted this in another thread, but that was before Sundance added this article.

If you think the Senate is ours, please rethink that. The Senate is Deep State. If you need any proof of that, just look at what Graham is saying about just acquitting without a trial. The absolute best thing that can happen right now is the threat of President Trump being able to call every single witness he wants. That would stop the House impeachment in its tracks. There would be no impeachment. But, the Dems have already planned things with the Senate. The House will impeach to toss a black mark on President Trump for the 2020 election and the Senate will acquit because many Senators don’t want President Trump to call witnesses… they’re just as dirty and that would eventually come out in a Senate trial. Graham is now setting the “tone” so that President Trump won’t get to call any witnesses.

Planned from the beginning. Find anything to impeach. Obstruction didn’t work. Dems freaked over President Trump talking about investigation Ukrainian corruption and jumped the gun to impeach, but they were looking for something anyway. They’d just hoped for something better. Still, impeach to sway public opinion, put a black mark on President Trump for the 2020 election, and bury it all in the Senate so no Swamp Crimes come out. It’s basic Dem Swamp Critter 101. The MSM covers and helps. Big tech censors.

Except that the public wasn’t swayed, the Dems had to jump the gun and force an impeachment before they were ready, the Republican opposition was fiercely sharp and blew holes in everything the Dems brought up, and President Trump’s base will never leave him. Pelosi was right when she said they’d impeach even if that meant losing the House. They had to, to try to cover up their crimes.

This makes perfect sense of course.

Presumably there was never going to be a trial in the Senate. I mean, it never made sense that the Dems would continue down the road of impeachment when they faced certain exposure in the Senate.

They never did face exposure because it was always preprogrammed that they would be able to have their cake and eat it too.

And everybody played their part with a straight face.

For all we know the person Nadler was overheard (by Mollie) planning impeachment on the train after the mid-terms was none other than McConnell.

Bottom line: PDJT will forever be tarred with the “Impeached” label. Dems escape unscathed. On to the double-impeachment!

Does this mean that Lindsey has now DIS-invited Rudy Giuliani from testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding alleged corruption in Ukraine?

Maybe he talks with Durham instead?

Despite being in the country’s best interest to expose everything in the Senate, our fearful Republican Senators will kill this impeachment debacle quickly.

Are many guilty on both sides of a lot of bad things? Likely. But even if not, a pragmatic Senator could see the opportunity to shut this down as one in the hand vs. two in the bush.

Graham said something revealing in not only words but mannerisms recently, he said he did not want to subpoena phone records [helping in the defense of a COUP] simply because he didn’t want his own phone records subpoenaed.

It was an off the cuff response and seemed genuine.

So, not the greater good – and what can be greater than preserving our electoral system? I mean, we’re not talking about a farm bill here – but personal protection… at all costs.

I’m worried what this means for impeachment once it reaches the Senate. I think none of the swamp creature care anymore, they know President Trump is going to be re-elected and they are going to see to it that it doesn’t happen. They are counting on us to be mad, but not do anything about it.

Seems pretty clear how slimey Sen. Lindsey Graham is in that segment.

It upsets me Maria didn’t counter the Russia hacked the email comment by countering educated people like former NSA brainiac William Binney says it wasn’t possible given the volume of data and the speed of transfer to download the mass quantity of data that was downloaded.

If Graham wanted to end the impeachment effort he’d be saying he *will* call Schiff as a witness to force the House Democrats to back down. Instead he gave them a green light to impeach by promising to keep their secrets safe.

This is a typical GOPe move: throw away your leverage before the fight begins, then say aww shucks, we tried our best but couldn’t get it done.

I can’t wait until Nunes get to run investigations again. Lindsay is a liar. And where the hell has Grassley been?
