My objection to cable news is that they make a living employing spinners for both parties. None of that is instructive. Politics became much uglier when cable networks appeared on the scene. They need 24/7 feeding and the quality of the info they eat, the regurgitate is pure chum. The Marxists have been aided by communication vehicles that began with 24/7 cable news and proceeded to social media.

Mueller left a gap Dems will drive a truck through:

        On obstruction:

“while this report does not conclude the President committed a crime it does not exonerate him”
Mueller left it for the AG to determine that although there was no collusion
        whether Trump mean-Tweeting was obstruction

        No way Dems “move on”.

“does not exonerate him” . . . what a bunch of unnecessary, but provocative words. In lengthy interactions conducted with hundreds or thousands of people, over a 2-3 year time period, it would be very difficult to exonerate PTrump of anything except maybe a bank robbery that occurred in Georgetown while PTrump was in the Rose Garden on national TV welcoming the President of Poland.

And, even then, the Dimms and the YSM would say that PTrump is not exonerated from the charge of conspiring to rob the bank.

The weird part is, and is captured within the letter, there was no underlying criminal conduct. Therefore, what is there to obstruct?

The president, his administration and his campaign, did not engage in any collusion or conspiracy with Russian officials or any other unlawful interest. So the predicate for obstruction is moot upon their non-criminal engagement.

Therefore the obstruction of a non-existent crime made evidence within the “obstruction investigation” seem disengenuous.

If there was an underlying crime, then action identified by the Special Counsel might have been considered obstruction; but it wasn’t, so it cant be.

      • WRB says:

All true, but there are dems who claim you can obstruct *even when no underlying crime exists* And it really does not matter if it sounds goofy…. the crazies in the House could forge ahead with impeachment.

But at the least, they will muddy the waters, to try and prevent people from focusing on the important question:

If there was no “collusion”, why was a special counsel appointed? In other words, who was responsible for the “frame-up” ?

I think a Marxist’s definition of “obstruction” is n9t o struction of an actual crime, but of OBSTRUCTION OF THE POWER MADNESS THAT GRIPS THE TOTALITARIANISM OF THE IMPERIAL STATE, AS IN NOT BOWING WHEN TOLD TO DO SO…Not going away when told to, having the temerity to run for President and save the country from the globalists…

THAT is what thry mean. Not bowing as told and expected to our superiors.

Honestly the one thing I actually WOULD like to see evidence on is whether the Russian govt did, in fact, hack the Clinton campaign/DNC and provide the emails to Wikileaks. So far, I believe all we have is the declaration from “all 17 agencies ….” none of whom examined the DNC server or interviewed anyone at Wikileaks, at least that we’re aware of. Whatever one thinks of Wikileaks … I think one thing we all like is, you know, PROOF.

In the report, the Special Counsel noted that, in completing his investigation, he employed 19 lawyers who were assisted by a team of approximately 40 FBI agents, intelligence analysts, forensic accountants, and other professional staff. The Special Counsel issued more than 2,800 subpoenas, executed nearly 500 search warrants, obtained more than 230 orders for communication records, issued almost 50 orders authorizing use of pen registers, made 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence, and interviewed approximately 500 witnesses.
