Last week there were six unique encounters between President Trump and U.S. journalists where the topic of illegal aliens and family border separations was brought up. It seemed odd at the time because the issue has not been a topic within discussion. These exchanges culminated in CBS correspondent Leslie Stahl asking the same question repeatedly during a 60 minutes interview on Sunday night.
Now things become clear. There are thousands of Honduran migrants traveling north to the U.S. border timed to arrive in conjunction with the mid-term election. Obviously an engineered narrative timed by the political left and media allies.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump threatened on Tuesday to withdraw funding and aid from Honduras if it does not stop a caravan of migrants that is heading to the United States, in his latest effort to show his administration’s tough stance on immigration.
The message, driven home by Vice President Mike Pence who said he spoke to Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, could further encourage the Central American country to move closer to China because of what it sees as weak U.S. support.
Up to 3,000 migrants crossed from Honduras into Guatemala on Monday on a trek northward, after a standoff with Guatemalan police in riot gear and warnings from Washington that migrants should not try to enter the United States illegally. (read more)

I saw a picture on a couple of other sites I will need to ook for it, but it showed what I assume are migrants, all with yellow backpacks. The backpacks are stamped USAid. USAid works with Soros orgs.

Soros funds the boats and large inflatables for the mutant flotillas crossing from Africa, (predominantly Libya, Algeria, Morocco) now mostly into Spain. I’ve seen several videos of Spaniards at the beach where they’re suddenly inundated by wave of marauding mutants storming off boats right past them on the beach. Many carry kilos of hashish they hand off to distribution networks to be sold in EUrabia. They just sit on their blankets and watch as the mutants storm past them. Like here except we offer a land bridge except for a small patch south of San Diego. Italy now patrols their coast line driving these sea borne caravans away. But then again, the Italians have generally taken a very dim view of invasions and in deference to a relatively excusable indiscretion during WWII Italians don’t make good victims. I’ve been there for weeks at a time and it’s quite different than what’s been loosed to the north. Not even close.

It will be interesting to see what Obrador does. Even though he is still President-Elect he put his own negotiator in for USMCA which resulted in a very quick trade deal with the US (and ultimately Canada). If he has anything to do with it he may have to stop that caravan so as to protect his newly-minted relationship with Trump. Not To Be Taken Lightly.

NOTHING has deterred these invaders and even if the (Rs) get a super majority at the mid-terms, it will be YEARS before any comprehensive immigration reform is instituted.
This really narrows down the solutions to stopping this madness to inflicting maximum pain and consequences for trying to cross the border illegally.

Your exactly right. If they make it to our border, the BP will be there like Walmart greeters to escort them in. The administration uses tough talk but throws in the words like crossing our borders “illegally”, which really means if you come to a port of entry you will be welcomed. When this president and this Congress refuse to address the magnet drawing these people here, this will never stop. Must be so much money associated with handling, detaining, feeding, pretend border security, that this is like another economy, something like the military industrial complex. We’re all being herded to the outrage of the day. This caravan is a side show, just like the last one and we are being played by everyone. Thousands are pouring over our border EVERY DAY. How about we focus on that? Not a word from anyone and when Ann Coulter brings it up, she practically gets stoned here.
Controlling immigration was arguably the single issue that got Trump elected. During his first two years, it is worse than obama. Everyday we are being invaded, financially burdened, put at risk for diseases, put at risk for our safety and our childrens’ safety and forced to endure the destruction of our home towns, country and culture. Not sure how any of this will end. Most likely a deal. The man we believed would secure the border first, seems poised to give us Bush era “comprehensive immigration reform”.

20 plus years ago my wife and I talked about no matter how many gains that the right would make in any given year, we never approached what we had lost the previous year. The cumulative effect has wiped out any semblance to the time I grew up or even that of my kids. The changes are happening ever faster with no braking mechanism in sight. My grandchildren will never know the freedom we experienced just a few short years ago.

As I reflect on having kids in school from 1973-1997, and grandchldren in schools from 2000-current . . . what schools should be teaching they’re not; and what doesn’t matter, THAT’S what is being taught.
Back in the late ’90s, my oldest granddaughter was four and her mother let her watch PBS. During the supposedly safe “Little House on the Prairie” station break segments, “Heather Has Two Mommies” was being touted. Much as she hated to, the decision was made to deep six PBS in favor of selected videos.

Doesn’t appear the wall will be built between now and Nov. Given that, deploy the military to the border. Bring as many drones, landmines as needed. Leave them there until the wall is funded, and up and running. The is a national emergency.

I think Pres. Trump should perhaps declare a state of emergency on the border and use the military as it Is an invasion. Pure and simple, an invasion. The invaders should be warned to turn back or letal force will be used.

Case in point Trump following law and return Haitians with temporary status, has been told that he cannot. The reasoning from the Judge was stated that Trump decided this with a prejudice having called Haiti a s##thole country. The fact that temporary statu had expired was irrelevant.

I want Pres Trump to know right now how deeply grateful I am to him for making work out that I do not have to pay for a Hondurain family who somehow manages to get through.
I am so tired of working and working and working and trying to save just a little so I will not be too bad off when I retire.

If handled correctly this will just remind voters Why they voted for President Trump in the first place. Illegal immigration and border security were top issues and 2 of the issues in which President Trump took unique stands in comparison to the rest of the GOP hopefuls. He won. This will just be one long commercial reminding voters who is for secure borders, a wall and for anti illegal immigration.
This could easily be a HUGE backfire on the Dems and help the GOP candidates Bigly!

I am so upset with the situation regarding illegal immigration and so it seems is everyone else but there are only a few who hold the president accountable. My gracious we are being invaded and neither president Trump nor the Vice President seem to “get it” that this threat is an emergency, code red. He tweets that he made a phone call. Please, why hasn’t He pounded his desk and issued some ultimatums? In a very rude manner

Notice how Trump has pivoted from “securing the borders and build the wall” to “change the laws”. We don’t enforce the laws we have now. We haven’t for decades. What the hell makes anyone think new laws are the answer?

It mostly is the laws that need changing. They get in one way or another and even if there is a wall, they will dig under it or put ropes over it. I’m all for the wall, but the laws are what keeps them here for years going through the legal system while we feed them, house them, apparently raise their children for them, in the meantime. And there is no way to have enough buildings to do that. They are setting them free as we speak.

The one law that must be changed is that people can ask for asylum at the border. If it was that all asylum request must be process through the embassy or consulate in the originating country people would stop taking a chance on the trip. It would kill the coyotes’ business.

They are there. But they can’t stop people from entering. They can only detain and put them in a camp while their rights are worked through, which takes a long time. Years. We have some really bad immigration laws. That’s why everyone in the past just lets them go. They work for cash and don’t accrue benefits.

FYI, I received a call a short time ago from a friend in San Antonio, site of a Cruz-Beto debate earlier this evening. He said a local news channel, (CBS) KENS 5, had reporters live at the “after-parties” of each candidate. At Cruz’s party there were many people, including Cruz, who were really enjoying themselves. Contemporaneously, at the Beto party, the reporter advised that only he, one lady, and the janitorial staff were there. All the TV stations in SA are decidedly liberal, so the Beto party coverage must have been very unpleasant for the media as a whole.
Interestingly, the Beto party was in south San Antonio at the Texas A&M – San Antonio campus, a location that should have been a hotbed of Hispanic support for Beto. Cruz was partying in north-central SA, where a much more diverse population lives.
I could be wrong, but I sense the air is leaking out of Beto’s balloon.
I did not watch the debate. I hope someone else provides details of the discussion.

I suppose Guatemala let them in because they claimed to be refugees. See that guy saying how terrible life was in Honduras, after they had just finished singing their Honduran national anthem and another song of Honduran pride. Anyway they claimed to be refugees so, by international law, they were let in.
But that’s where it should end. Guatemala is a peaceful country, so their refugee quest ends there and they should stay in Guatemala. They have no excuse to go onto Mexico, let alone onto the USA.
I feel sorry for Guatemala, which isn’t a rich country. If these people stay there, maybe we should send them some extra money to maintaim those refugees. So far it seems to me that this is being done by the book, consistent with my hope that they do not set foot on Mexican soil.
