President Trump Questions FBI and DOJ Campaign Surveillance and Spy Operations – Carter Page and George Papadopoulos…

Buried in paragraph 40 of the FBI/DOJ justification article presented by the New York Times on behalf of contributing editors James Comey, Sally Yates, Mary McCord, John Brennan and James Clapper, the oft-used intelligence propaganda outlet attempted to bury the lede:

The F.B.I. obtained phone records and other documents using national security letters — a secret type of subpoena — officials said. And at least one government informant met several times with Mr. Page and Mr. Papadopoulos, current and former officials said. That has become a politically contentious point, with Mr. Trump’s allies questioning whether the F.B.I. was spying on the Trump campaign or trying to entrap campaign officials.  (read more)

In essence what the Deep State apparatchik was/is doing is admitting they conducted a large-scale surveillance operation against their political opposition by weaponizing the most intrusive intelligence gathering capabilities of the federal government.  An admission they denied for the previous 18 months….

And somehow, we are supposed to be ok with this.  Well, that’s their story, and they’re sticking to it.  Ultimately they have no choice.  If the participating members don’t justify their endeavors there’s a strong likelihood of shiny new steel bracelets.

Oddly enough, the target of the corrupt intelligence enterprise is not too pleased:

… Go figure.

From the justification outline the conspiracy crew focused on using the national security apparatus to target: •Michael Flynn; according to the article under Flynn was under surveillance since 2015 because he took a trip to Russia; •Campaign and Delegate Manager Paul Manafor because he did business with Ukraine; and two unpaid low level staff “volunteers” •Carter Page and •George Papadopoulos.

Oddly, and damned sure not coincidentally, Carter Page was an FBI asset in March of 2016 and yet somehow by October the same year he was a foreign agent, acting on behalf of mother Russia, and deserving of a FISA Title-1 Surveillance Warrant to ensure every second of every move was tracked and monitored as if he was an activated terrorist en-route to the detonation site:

(Full Memo pdf)

In 2013 the U.S. Department of Justice, Southern District of New York, announced an indictment against a Russian Operative Evgeny Buryakov.  LINK HERE  In March of 2016 Buryakov pleaded GUILTY: Carter Page was an FBI cooperating asset in 2013, and remained the primary FBI witness through May of 2016 throughout the duration of the Buryakov case.

If Carter Page was an FBI asset and witness, responsible for the bust of a high level Russian agent in 2013, and remained so throughout the court case UP TO May of 2016, how the f**k it is possible that on October 21st, 2016, Carter Page is put under a FISA Title-1 surveillance warrant as an alleged Russian agent?

Conclusion:  He wasn’t.

The DOJ National Security Division and the FBI Counterintelligence Division, knew he wasn’t a Russian agent.  The DOJ-NSD and FBI  flat-out LIED to the FISA court.

Now, go back to the March 2016 DOJ Press Release of the guilty pleading for Evgeny Buryakov, announced from the New York office:

…”Preet Bharara, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and John P. Carlin, Assistant Attorney General for National Security, announced”…

Because “FISA Title-I” surveillance authority against a U.S. citizen is so serious (the U.S. government is essentially calling the target a spy), only a few people are authorized to even apply for such surveillance warrants.

One of the four people authorized to make such a filing is the Asst. Attorney General who is head of the National Security Division of the DOJ.  At the time that person was John P Carlin.  The same John P Carlin who worked with the FBI counterintelligence unit, conscripted Carter Page as an FBI asset/witness, gained a guilty plea, then turned around six months later accuses their star witness of being a Russian Spy?

Think about this?

Apply common sense.

Why?  Likely because the DOJ-National Security Division (DOJ-NSD) and FBI Counterintelligence needed to find a legal way to spy on the Trump campaign. The 2016 FISA Title 1 surveillance of former FBI employee Carter Page became that legal way. [“The Insurance Policy”]

In October of 2016, at approximately the same time the DOJ was making the FISA Court filing against Page, and successfully gaining the surveillance warrant, Asst. Attorney General  John P Carlin resigned as head of the DOJ-NSD.    –SEE HERE–  Did Carlin resign in protest? or, did Carlin resign knowing he too had served a larger purpose?

With John Carlin gone, immediately after admitting to FISA(702)(16)(17) search abuses, the surveillance application filed by the DOJ to the FISA Court was signed by Sally Yates.

Sally Yates previously denied the DOJ Inspector General any oversight over the DOJ National Security Division. {SEE HERE}  Huh,… funny that.

Responding to a 2015 request by the DOJ Office of Inspector General, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates told the internal watchdog they cannot investigate the National Security Division.  That’s right, there was essentially no oversight on any activity happening inside the NSD.

In 2015 the OIG requested oversight and it was Sally Yates who responded with a lengthy 58-page legal explanation saying, essentially, ‘nope – not allowed.’ (PDF HERE) All of the DOJ is subject to oversight, except the NSD.

So where does this leave us?…

Occam’s Razor: The FISA Title I surveillance authority over Carter Page was cover, most likely retroactive cover, for the DOJ and FBI conducting surveillance on the Trump campaign.  Previous to the October 21st, 2016, FISA Warrant the FBI was limited to using illegal searches of FISA(702)(16)(17) FBI and NSA databases {see here}; and according to the New York Times: “National Security Letters”.

National Security Letters are a type of administrative subpoena designed to allow the FBI to access the records of people suspected of being foreign agents. Section 505 of the Patriot Act expanded the FBI’s ability to use these subpoenas: FBI agents now only have to state that the information sought is “relevant” to a national security investigation in order to obtain sensitive financial, communications and other personal records. The letters are issued by FBI field offices and are not subject to judicial oversight. Recipients of these letters are under a gag order. (link)

The DOJ-National Security Division and FBI Counterintelligence Unit didn’t care about Carter Page because to them he was a useful tool.  It wasn’t Page they needed, per se’, they just needed someone, anyone, who had contact with the Trump campaign that they could apply the label “foreign agent” upon.

How did they enhance that appearance?

Enter Stefan Halper.

Remember the Peter Strzok trip to London?

The source of John Brennan’s “Electronic Communication”, which initiated the July 31st, 2016, origination authority of the FBI Counterintelligence operation, is likely FBI and CIA operative Stefan Halper a foreign policy expert and Cambridge professor with connections to the CIA and its British counterpart, MI6.

[Stefan] Halper met campaign foreign policy adviser Carter Page at a July 2016 symposium held at Cambridge regarding the upcoming election, Page told TheDCNF. The pair remained in contact for several months. (link)

Stefan Halper posesses a very specific set of skills from all of his prior work within politics and the intelligence community. Halper was in contact with every official and entity in the set-up; and Halper was in the right places at the times when all of these set-up meetings and issues took place.

Stefan Halper connects to the same circle of intelligence operatives Christopher Steele used for his sketchy Dossier construct. Halper’s role looks simple: make the low-level Trump campaign aides appear dirty… the CIA would relay that information to the FBI; and the FBI counterintelligence unit (Agent Peter Strzok) would take it from there.

The DOJ/FBI just needed someone they could position to gain the FISA “Title I” surveillance approval that would retroactively make all prior sketchy campaign surveillance legal.  Carter Page and George Papadopoulos checked the right boxes.

Page didn’t need to be a “plant” or a willing “participant”, he was carrying surveillance authority like an Ebola virus and transmitting it onto everyone he contacted. Both Page and Papadopoulos were useful for the corrupt intelligence apparatus because they could attach a label to them and justify their surveillance and monitoring.  Nothing more.

Clear enough?

Carter Page testified to the House Intelligence Committee that DOJ-FBI officials leaked his identity, his role in the Buryakov case, to the media.  This is confirmation from Page himself that he was an FBI asset and witness.

(Source Link – Page. #19 House Intelligence Testimony pdf)

Stefan Halper’s role looks simple: make the low-level Trump campaign aides appear dirty… the CIA would relay that information to the FBI; and the FBI counterintelligence unit (Agent Peter Strzok) would take it from there.

Make sense now?…

I don’t think PDJT is the type of man that would just roll over and not push the prosecution of these traitors because of the impact on his family, especially the attacks on Melania and Ivanka. I sense that PDJT is very similar to the portrayal of Wyatt Earp by Kurt Russell in the movie ‘Tombstone’ ;

Our good President is a hunter. He is wearing that look.

The gravity and criminality of the Obama led coup against President Trump is unmatched in American history.

The ever increasing mountain of evidence, and the culprits intricate roles played in executing the coup have now been revealed in sufficient detail to warrant criminal indictments. Mueller’s mission to frame Trump has failed and will end soon.

The big question now is who and how will this monster case of sedition be made against Obama and his co conspirators and where will it be adjudicated. If Sessions is a patriot, he must step forward, indict the perpetrators and then prosecute them for sedition and RICO. The trials should be moved outside of DC and away from the Democrat corruption. Time is of the essence.

Away from DC, the epicenter of Democrat corruption, is important but it is practically impossible to get completely away from Democrat corruption. However, I would recommend the US Courthouse in Kansas City, which is fairly handy to Fort Leavenworth. A side benefit would be that portions of the fascist media would be almost forced to take up temporary residence in middle America. And who knows, they might learn to accept people outside their super-elitist society.

People really are seeing what’s going on, more daily. Higher up have to go to Military Tribunals, there’s too much Top Secret/Sac info that no civilian jury can see. When it comes to Foreign National testimony, spy testimony, FISA abuse, the military system is the only option.

You gotta read this article. It’s a hoot. Anyone could just Google the names and find out more than the writers claim to know. I love this paragraph:

“Page had been on the FBI’s radar since at least 2013, when the FBI caught two accused Russian spies on a wiretap discussing their attempts to recruit him. Later in 2016, Page became a surveillance target of the FBI, which suspected him of acting on behalf of the Russian government — an assertion he denies. Page has accused the government of abusing its authority by unfairly targeting him.”

Page was not “on the FBI’s radar since at least 2013.” He was a paid FBI informant who actively participated in an FBI operation to catch some spies, and planted a binder bugged by the FBI. Don’t these people know how to use Google? Willfully obtuse.

If it were to get to trials, each participant would ask for seperate trials, and blame others; “reasonable doubt”. Comey already blaming Lynch above and McCabe below. Hence can’t go to trial. MUST be such a compelling case, with uncontestable evidence, that guilty plea is only option.
Hence worrying about jury, or even liberal judge is irrelevent.
They are trying everything, twisting, turning, giving lame defences that don’t hold water, blaming others, strategic leaking,..in the end, after it all comes out, their only choice will be plead guilty, or nitestand. So what is to be one with the Felon Jeff Sessions?
Or you can add Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice. Having knowledge of criminal activity and the power to bring the offending criminal to Justice, but, in concert with others conspiring to not do so is of the same essence as covering up or hiding the crime. Sessions is failing and has failed for a year and a half to apply the Law to known felons — Clinton/Lynch/Comey/Obama– and yet refuses to Charge them. Of course, Isn’t that exactly what Comey and Lynch did? Think about it instead of making excuses for him.

SEN. RAND PAUL: Well, you know, I’m concerned that there are reports that John Brennan, the former head of the CIA under President Obama that he was cooperating with British intelligence to spy on the Trump campaign. This is a big deal. Now, some are saying, oh, it was just incidentally collected. It`s still a big deal. And there is a question. There are some accusations it was actually ordered by President Obama`s administration, either through John Brennan or others. Gina Haspel is the acting director of the CIA. She is high enough up in the CIA. I think we should know what she knows about whether the Trump campaign was surveilled upon. We do know that John Brennan, since he has left government, has become an outspoken partisan against the president in very defamatory terms. So, yes, I`m concerned about Gina Haspel being a close acolyte of John Brennan. I also would like to know from her before she is appointed, if she is indeed appointed, I would like to know, what does she know about the surveillance of the Trump campaign and why was the CIA involved? …

I think that she is a close acolyte of John Brennan. So, I think some have called her a protégé. And I worry that now we have seen John Brennan`s stripes. We have seen that he is a dyed-in-the-wool partisan, a hater of Donald Trump. And so I don`t want people running our intelligence agencies that have an axe to grind or have some sort of partisanship lurking beneath the service. So, there`s many reasons why I oppose her

Alas for Gina– despite emetic feministical hoo-hah, he/she/its appointment reeks of false-pretense. The point is not whether The Madame is “qualified” or not, but that as a senior insider under the literal Communist John Brennan no-one can trust a word she says.

IMO – It starts with a vision for a NWO, where the US is weakened significantly as the world leader via socialized internal policies and countries like Iran, Syria, Russia and NK are elevated and put on a more level playing field with the rest of the world where a small group of players get to play God and cash in on trillions.

Step 1 – Get a smooth talking, silver tongue, “lefty” elected who fools people that great change is coming for them.

Step 2 – Build the greatest database on EVERYONE in a position of power to freeze the opposition party from ever speaking up.

Step 3 – Smother the CIA, FBI, DOJ and the courts with lefties who believe in a weaker America and this NWO.

Step 4 – Circumvent Congress by running amuck with non-stop executive orders

Step 5 – Allow the US military to decline via lack of new investment

Step 6 – Make the American people believe that 1.9 GDP is the best we can do and tell them jobs and specifically manufacturing jobs are not returning so they lose faith in America and must rely 100% on the government.

Step 8 – Gain Control and buy-in of the majority of the media to control and shape the narrative along with any coverups that may be needed along the way.

Step 9 – Now put the dagger in by killing any real growth initiatives while spending foolishly on things such as green energy, climate change, mandatory national healthcare, more social programs, bad trade deals, pay for play, etc that delivers to the country crushing debt that America can’t recover from.

Step 10 – It’s now time to level the playing field by ensuring that “evil” countries build stronger military and nuclear capabilities by allowing a chunk of our Uranium to be sold and access is available to these countries while covering it all with a false nuclear deal, orchestrated by 1 person, that is nothing more than a smoke screen which allows for this leveling and NWO.

Step 11 – Maintain this same blueprint for another 8 years until the people give up and allow the Constitution to be replaced or re-written.

Everything was in place and going along as planned until Step 9 and God said enough and delivered the people DJT. We were taken to the very edge and it is time to rise up and put those who have committed crimes against humanity and our republic in prison!

Being socialists, it was far more important to them that everyone be equal, even if that meant equally miserable, than that the economy grow. Being socialists, directing business activity to their political goals was far more important to them than that the businesses they regulated made money and created jobs. Being socialists, entrepreneurship was a threat to their control; it was better for their purposes that individualism be crushed.

It has been plainly established and documented that the FBI presented false and politically motivated rubbish to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court for the purpose of obtaining the necessary warrants to spy on the PDJT campaign. Yet, there has been no effort whatsoever by that court, which was so egregiously defrauded, to respond to this offense by citing any of the felonious players for contempt. Even Congress has turned a blind eye and given the impervious jurists of the FISA court a pass.

Without anyone to hold this secret court accountable, the machinery that facilitates the political targeting we’ve seen remains firmly in place, poised to attack other “enemies of the state” just like it has PDJT. The FISA court has apparently become more a tool for permanent state survival than for protection from foreign adversaries. On reflection, perhaps that’s all it was ever meant to be.

I can’t believe that I’m writing these words, but Sundance is actually underselling the seriousness and severity of the Obama Administration corruption that is now being partially revealed via the Trump Campaign spying operation. This story alone should be enough to spawn a civil revolt, but sadly it is small potatoes compared to other as-yet unrevealed crimes that are far more horrific. Should the full extent of these crimes ever be exposed, it could well tear the country apart. That is reason that so many politicians are resigning and fleeing DC before the storm arrives.

Given the extent of the corruption of virtually the entire elite of the Federal Government, it seems it will be impossible to bring them all to justice. The biggest fish have either gotten away or are well on the way of doing so.

Besides the President saving his prerogative to declassify ALL in order to achieve maximum effect, there is another reason to consider. This reason has been touched upon here at CTH but never fully stated. President Trump is using his pulpit to explain the evils of the politics involved bit by bit in order to get the voters reading the tweets to research and think about all the Obama administration attempted to impact the 2016 election. His target is not so much his base as the middle 30-40% wedge of voters who really are looking for a difference and looking for a reason to vote either way.

That is the importance of all the polls sampling favorability of Mueller’s efforts.

If only the Republicans could grasp the fact they can become a real America First movement if they would translate President Trump’s national popularity to the local popularity needed to carry congressional elections.

I found a followup document to the 2015 memorandum that Yates sought to deny the IG investigative power (with regard to certain confidential materials). This was gotten from the list of opinions on the Office of Legal Counsel’s official site.

It was written by the same Karl Thompson who wrote the first 50+ page memorandum. He seemed to have reviewed a different law (Appropriations for FY 2016), and came to a opposite conclusion.

Not being a lawyer, I am unable to understand well. However, as of April 27, 2016, Yates was advised to let the IG operate as usual. imo.

What do we make of Clapper, Warner, et al outing Halper in the NYT the very feakin’ NEXT DAY after warning congressmen and plebes that they better not reveal the name of the spy/informant planted in the Trump campaign – lest they illegally endanger a critical national security asset, blah blah, and therefore expose themselves to getting Muellered?

Obviously, the deep state grandees believe that THEY are the ultimate law and authority and thus THEY get to decide when spooks like Halper are to be outed. But Warner had to know that the NYT spin story was coming out the very next day. And Clapper helped to write the NYT story. What was the strategic advantage they expected to gain by warning against something they were already doing? I’ll admit that I am bit perplexed by this.
