Apparently, the Canadian province of Nova Scotia is taking proactive steps {link} to ensure their leftist government officials are not subjected to any protests similar to what’s happening in Ottawa or other regions.
Using their pre-existing state of emergency, the “Province today, January 28, issued a directive under the Emergency Management Act prohibiting protesters from blockading Highway 104 near the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border.” [Announcement]

According to the provincial government, “fines for a summary conviction under the new directive will range from $3,000 to $10,000 for individuals and between $20,000 and $100,000 for a corporation.” Additionally, “outdoor gatherings of more than 20 people are prohibited under a Health Protection Act order.”
At the same time tens-of-thousands of Canadians are rallying for freedom in the nation’s capital city, Nova Scotia says citizens will obey the government or be arrested, fined and punished by provincial authorities for their noncompliance. Talk about a totally tone-deaf governing authority.

While J29 was inspirational in many ways, it was also chilling with the actions of Nova Scotia. The totalitarians accuse us of being extremist and violent when it is them. Even if the convoy ends because of these orders or fines, truckers shouldn’t be defeated. They still have the power to park their trucks and wait for store shelves to empty until corporations these tyrants care about complain about losing money.

What you geographically challenged do not know is that Nova Scotia is a peninsular. Most goods are moved through that road. You are talking about empty shelves everywhere, including hospitals.
A compatible mess would be the Panama Channel being closed. Or just think about the mess of the Suez Channel being blocked recently.
A blockage of one lane of the two lane highway might be OK. The NS government might be overreacting in fearing there will be massive problems for NS and Newfoundland (especially with a winter storm recently actually emptying shelves in groceries in Halifax _the seat of the NS government ) A few days of blocked traffic is a yearly trial people are familiar with. NOT weeks.
So please, Do not be a baby killer. (Halifax is THE center for premature babies requiring heavy medical intervention east of Monteral)

Methnks a “small” convoy of perhaps couple hindred rigs could start heading in the direction of Nova Scotia and, well, when New Bruswick is just getting to its end and Nova scotia is beginning, since that proviince won’t let them IN, why, just park them. Perhaps word could be spread amongst the truck owners in NS to take their ruigs and start heading for Ottowa toj join the big group.. and for some unknown reason decide to park them on the westbound lands just as Nova Scotia is ending and New Brunswick is begining.
COrks are wonderful things. They prevent things passing through a ‘bottleneck”, such as that stretch of highway connecting the two provinces that could for some ‘unknown’ reason cease “connecting” and suddenly, with the means of a fea hundred trucks, become a orked bottleneck.
How long wout it take for NS to get to desparate enough to the THEIR mandates?
