As part of the investigation into a possibly illegal sexting relationship with a 15-year-old minor by Anthony Weiner, all of the electronic devices belonging to Weiner and his wife Huma Abedin are under FBI review.
As a result of that FBI review – the electronic devices used by Huma Abedin, in her communications with Hillary Clinton, have prompted FBI director James Comey to announce to congress that issues pertaining to Abedin now conjoin with the previous FBI probe of the Hillary Clinton, her email and her private server set up.
FBI Director Comey has stated he released the notification letter because if he withheld it he was fearful the FBI would be accused to concealing or hiding information prior to the election.
The Clinton campaign responds by blaming FBI Director Comey for releasing the notification letter to congress:
“Director Comey’s letter refers to emails that have come to light in an unrelated case, but we have no idea what those emails are and the director himself notes they may not even be significant,” said John D. Podesta, chairman of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign.
