This horrific story is absolutely typical of two things.   #1) Methods deployed by thugs as they rob/steal from people.   #2)  How a Liberal epicenter [Boston, Massachusetts] will not address the descriptive nature of the thugs and actively seek to protect the Politically Correct (Cultural Marxism) narrative.
First the story – bullet point #1.   (After reviewing the article/attack we’ll show how the media does #2)
BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Police are investigating three similar attacks on city residents in which someone comes right up to their front door pretending to be delivering a package.
In the most recent case, on Dorchester’s Lonsdale Street, a pair of criminals entered the victims’ home and pistol whipped the elderly couple that let them in.

“We don’t usually see that, but it’s definitely what happened,” says Boston Lt. Detective Thomas Hopkins. “There have been two home invasions and one B&E where Asian victims were targeted, in two of the incidents people were duct taped with zip ties.”
In the Lonsdale Street case, the suspects came to the door with a package addressed to the residents. But the men either didn’t know or didn’t care they were being recorded the whole time by the camera right on the home’s front porch.
Investigators have released that video, hoping the images will encourage someone to come forward with information.
“It is kind of scary because it is right next door,” explains neighbor Shawn Goughnour. “I hope they do catch them.”  (link)   [ <—- Go to this link for aspect #2 below ]
*NOTE*  The picture at the top of the post is the actual picture CBS Boston uses to highlight their story.   Note what is intentionally cropped out.   Boston, in general is exceptionally liberal, and letting the reader quickly identify Black Men = Thug is not part of the PC allowance from news.

However, two things:   First the optical PC manipulation is subtle.   Second, in this case, it takes actual effort to conceal the racial component of the perpetrator because the picture is from a video surveillance within the story itself.   If you watch the video you see how a screen grab had to be maneuvered and cropped to avoid highlighting the brutally obvious fact that BLACK MALES are committing the crime they are reporting on.

Some may say race is not an aspect, yet they describe the race of the victim(s) but not the race of the perpetrator ?
Within deep blue regions it is just too uncomfortable to put the obvious into their reports.   But in this case, like so many currently being reported on, not only do they avoid printing the race, but they actually work to avoid outlining it in the story.
We highlight this aspect of intentional obfuscation because once you know what to look for you can find this editorial manipulation it in just about every article that describes ‘thug-type’ criminal behavior.   It is pure cultural Marxism running amuck.
