“The Introduction”
On the night of February 26th, 2012, the life of George Zimmerman was changed forever.
Since that date he has been saddled not only with the anguish of having to take a life to save his own, but he has needed to endure the obligatory state-sponsored witch hunt to boot.
These are the burdens that few ordinary humans will ever have to bear. In times like these it’s always better to surround yourself with people who you TRUST.
Inevitably, in this day of GREED and SELFISHness, there are many people who use situations like this as a platform to further their own agenda. George Zimmerman has seen this GREED manifest itself in many forms from those he considers his best confidants.

On September 10, 2012, Dr Phil McGraw will air a season beginning story about George Zimmerman. The show was previously taped and, while I have not seen it, will likely be another MSM media hack piece complete with talk of race, innocent children, and the downfalls of SYG laws.
By now, many of you (particularly those of you in the Treehouse) are all too aware that the media (and prosecution) have done everything possible to skew the evidence in the case against George. The Matt Gutmans of the world received and distributed their daily talking points, and evidentiary exclusives, from the likes of Ryan Julison and the Scheme Team of Crump, Parks and Jackson.
The media has cut, pasted, and skewered the evidence to fit the desired narrative of the White vs. Black, Man vs. Child, and Self Defense vs. Murder ideology they have so masterfully portrayed.
The Martin family attorneys have been disingenuous throughout, and at many turns untruthful, about the events that led up to the demise of Trayvon Martin.
Most of the MSM media portrayals of George, and those by the Martin family attorneys, stemmed from a specific choice to activate the “race card” early on. As a direct consequence, when the rest of the world saw George Zimmerman was not White, the media and the Martin’s attorneys were already “all-in” and fully committed. They had no chance, nor any visible desire, to retreat from their chosen narrative.
Their narrative script was based entirely on historical success, and the MONETARY prospects are way too tasty to pass up.
Some of the media “omissions” and “editing mistakes” are not only harmful to George’s ability to receive a fair trial but, in the end, potentially criminal in nature. There are many who cannot wait for the State v. GZ criminal proceedings to end so that George can return some “punitive damage” to the very people who have specifically and intentionally damaged him. The time for these lessons is not now, but soon, after the weight, burden, and black cloud of imprisonment, is removed from his shoulders.
George Zimmerman provided Fox News with an interview a short time ago based solely on a gentlemen’s agreement that was made early on with Sean Hannity.
Hannity was, after all, virtually the only media program that did not rush to judgment.
Prior to that appearance, and since that singular interview, George has chosen not to speak to the media as he has already experienced what they do with the most factual of evidence (See: NBC, CBS, etc).
His only concern is the removal of the criminal charges against him. George has, from the beginning, requested that family and friends not provide fodder to the media under the auspices of helping him.
George rightly feared that anything stated or shared with the media would be twisted, manipulated and used against him by the persecution prosecution team.
Shortly after the Scheme Team and Main Stream Media “Crumped up” the case as Black vs. White, many threats were made on George’s life. Hate-filled threats, violent threats, and threats filled with promises of delivery.
Alarming, to say the least, was the response from law enforcement.
While he was still a free man, not even accused of a crime, and still a citizen of the United States of America, the threats against him were allowed to go unabated by Local, State, and Federal law enforcement agencies.
The silence, acceptance and general indifference by those in the law enforcement profession allowed the threats not only continue, but likely emboldened these groups to pursue exactly the type of vigilante justice they attached to George.
Subsequently, after the shooting it became necessary for George and Shellie to leave their home. Their close friends Mark and Sondra Osterman offered them a place to stay.
The Osterman household was a welcome retreat from the constant threats because there was no possibility of a return to Retreat View.
During this time, George felt a certain amount of TRUST in the Ostermans.
However, now, in spite of George’s wishes that no one provide any more fodder/evidence to the media and prosecution, Mark Osterman (a verified State witness), has chosen to publish a book. Not only is the book about his relationship with George, but also about the specific events of the night of February 26th.
As a consequence of my affiliation I’ve had the opportunity to preview the first several chapters of the book and while it is likely well-intentioned, there are portions of the book that are simply not factual.
It is understood that Mark Osterman would not intentionally try to harm George, but it is critical for the public to understand George does not condone this book; nor does he agree with the timing of the publication of the book.
George hopes and TRUSTS that Mark Osterman’s interview on the upcoming Dr. Phil show does not contain anything that could possibly be considered detrimental to his case. However, given the visible media manipulation there is absolutely no reason to be optimistic of a positive outcome.
The interview is due to be aired next week, September 10th, and there is little that can be done at this point.
While it is unknown whether the Ostermans were compensated for the interview, the publishing of their book is not likely intended to provide the public with a free book. Subsequently, since the story of the upcoming book was revealed, there have been numerous rumors about George benefitting financially from its release.
There were NEVER any discussions of financial benefit with George.
One could, or should, surmise the timing of the book release was based on GREED or SELFISHness. The motivation will ultimately be determined by the reader.
However, there is also a larger concern. A major concern. A seriously major concern:
Accuracy.
Upon initial review there appear to be numerous “mistakes” in the book, and even several specific items that we feel are outright fabrications. These aspects may be intended to help the book sell well, but they also present some serious factual concerns.
The areas of concern will be highlighted, and honestly rebutted, during the course of a number of guest posts here at the Treehouse over the next several days.
These areas to be addressed could potentially be damaging to George Zimmerman, and I feel it is important to address each of them individually.
In the next several days the excerpts, responses and summaries you will read are my “Guest Posted” words and my opinion. While I will share the exact and specific content of the upcoming book, as I know it, the rebuttal or challenge to the book will be mine alone.
The intent of rebuttal is meant to bring these fabrications, falsehoods and concerns to light, and such retort is provided for the benefit of those who will ultimately read the published book and have questions about its accuracy.
I am, quite simply, trying to get out ahead of what “could be” a well intended attempt at public support, which simultaneously creates a significant and potentially damaging series of unintended consequences.

Ted will always rule. but now that I am older, I realize why my dad always asked us to turn the volume down when we listened to Ted – the only way to listen to Ted was maximum volume -all the way up. Dad didn’t appreciate Ted’s artistry quite the way his teenagers did.

I believe That that was a comment From a relative Of the OSTERMANS.
It is my understanding neither George nor Omara gave any approval to this.
The minute I heard of them writing a book and being on Dr Phil, I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. My initial thought, nothing good will come of this. Now hearing that the book has some fabricated information in it, I feel even worse.
Everybody, keep up the good work you have done so far for George. Keep shining the light to reveal the truth about this case and those who seek to benefit from the false portrayal of George.
With friends like this, who needs enemies. Prayers going up for George and his family.
Who is authoring these articles? Why is their identity being filtered? Say what you will about Osterman, but at least he put his name on his book, so we can judge the source along with the content.
Because some have no problem frying in the Scheme Team’s frying pan, and everyone supporting GZ is thrown in there, I appreciate the information, and the guest poster can certainly retain his safety from the lynch mobs. Just because the Osterman’s chose to put themselves in that position, not everyone needs to follow. You can bet that the Osterman’s will be burned at the stake, one on one side of Z, and one on the other side. That’s the Osterman’s own choice.
Their identity is not being filtered, it is just not revealed. Given the death threats against those who support Zimmerman, it would not be prudent to cite. It is always the decision of the contributor.
Osterman had to put his and her name on the book, you cannot write a check to “anonymous”… For them, this is all about the money. Money, money, money…. Money, money, money…… Money, money, money….. The love of which is the root of all evil.

Libel;
• A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person’s reputation.
• The act of presenting such material to the public.
Why is your identity being filtered James F? Or should we all assume your first name truly is James, and your last name is simply the sixth letter of the alphabet?
If you think it’s fair to be afforded the opportunity to judge the source along with the content, shouldn’t that apply to your own posts as well?

From what I understand, George stayed with the Osterman’s, but Shellie stayed somewhere else. I thought I read that Shellie was staying somewhere out of the state. Shellie said herself that she had not seen George throughout the time they were in hiding before the arrest. I believe she said that in the first bond hearing.
IIRC she was staying with her parents, at least until the arrest, then her mug was in all the newspapers and tv stations around the country.

in the beginning, the r_acist mobs, steered by the ones who profit off them, were threatening to riot, so for political/social reasons, there is the “steam control valve” as in Bonfire Of The Vanities, and in order to lessen the pressure so the situation doesn’t blow-up, mostly thinking of their careers, which is why so many Republicans are on board, appeasement happens, by bringing Murder2 charges, because that is within their tool kit, “all we want is an arrest”, but actually in order to profit throwing it to the Court, it has to deny immunity at the hearing, which is a compromise, the politicos can only arrange for the hearing, not cause a successful outcome, so each side gives a little to avoid a riot
now is the next stage, the scheme team needs to have as much information go their way, a roll of the dice, what transpires is true, factual information of the case, which either confirms their suspicions or changes public opinion, the more info the better, like Book, TV and Radio, there is at times going to be ugly stuff like the relative sex abuse, nobodies perfect, but the slow and careful release over time cause a return to rational thinking, I am talking about public opinion so that when the Court spits out George and the scheme team has to chalk this one up to the loss column, Sanford does not burn like LA did, and like a wolf, (Tom Wolfe

Hi P3^3 – Yes – but the cost and suffering for a gross, excessive charge. It will cost GZ about $1,000,000 to defend against this travesty of a charge. Angela Corey will spend about 2,000,000 (she has a staff of about 40 on this case), to prosecute. If George wins the “Immunity” hearing – the STATE MUST PAY GEORGE’s Lawyer Costs! But if George does not win the “SYG” Judge-ruling, then in continues into a full blown trial. (You know that if a Grand Jury had heard this case – he would have been found innocent because he saved his live by shooting TM-the THUG.) This is the same Duke/Nofinger farce that was conducted by the State against innocent LaCross students. INCREDIBLE!!
Those are the direct costs, but other costs which never get publicize, the police overtime, the people who have gotten hurt, or killed things that no monetary value could recompense. This to protect not just from riot, but to protect politicians careers without the cojones to see what this is about and put a stop to it. As for the others who happily tried to use this situation for political gain …. Yes, the cost of this is great.
yes myopiafree, its a sad game played out on peoples lives, and I remember the Duke Lacross case, I would say that the Grand Jury would have brought some type of charges because of the public outrage, since they usually side with whatever the Prosecutor wants, no input from the accused, the standing joke is the GJ would indict a ham sandwich
as in any gambling, there are odds, and going in, the Crump team does their best, but they don’t have ALL the info to guarantee success, so there is still a chance of them winning the jack pot if GZ loses the immunity hearing

The book and the TV appearance’s will taint their testimony. It will not be admitted by a court.. Any information in the book can be used as a source for further investigation and information gathering by the state. I think.

I’ll *never* spend a dime on that book. In case I didn’t make that clear, I said I’ll *NEVER* spend a dime on that book.
The “author” will have to get his “30 pieces of silver” from those who will buy it to further crucify George.
I used the word “sacrifice” regarding how George has been treated not long ago. I just didn’t know those (IMO) sacrificing him would include those in whom he had placed so much trust.
(shaking my head) I believe in Karma *way* to much to ever do such a thing. That’s beside the fact that it’s extremely important to me to be able to like, and be at peace with, the person I have to face in the mirror each morning.
This whole sordid mess troubles me, on a scale of one to ten, at about a million gazillion.
