The FCC has approved “net neutrality” regulations and in effect now weaponized the internet. The foundation to make the internet a political weapon -to be used like the IRS- is now established. It will only be a matter of time before political opposition sites, defined by the Obama administration as “the enemy”, will be more difficult to access. 

I wonder if they will let us see the regulations now they have passed them?

(Via Politico) The Federal Communications Commission voted along party lines Thursday to approve sweeping changes to how it regulates the Internet, capping more than a year of noisy debate that sparked millions of public comments and drew the attention of President Barack Obama and congressional leaders.

The agency’s three Democrats voted to approve Chairman Tom Wheeler’s net neutrality order, which would treat broadband like a utility to ensure all Web traffic is treated equally. The commission’s two GOP members, Republican lawmakers and the nation’s telecom giants oppose the rules, saying they will dampen innovation and investment. (Via Daily Mail) MSNBC is set to pull the plug on contentious Reverend Al Sharpton in a last ditch attempt to revive dwindling audience numbers.

The liberal anchor’s nightly Politics Nation show is to be shelved by broadcasting bosses as they make drastic changes in the hope of clawing back viewers.

Company President Phil Griffin is believed to be placing his faith in a swing from the left in their Congress coverage – insisting that the station’s Republican bashing glory days are now firmly in the past. (read more)

This is actually quite stunning, even for a Clinton.

The defenders of Hillary Clinton have stated that during her tenure as Secretary of State the Clinton foundation (Clinton Global Initiative, or CGI) did not take money from foreign governments. You might have heard that ‘talking point’ repeated frequently over the past two weeks whenever the issue was raised.

~ Now we know why she was all alone wearing green ~

However, recent inquiry and admissions by the Clinton Team now indicate that talking point is not true.  Not even close to being true.

As the Washington Post points out, the Clinton Foundation DID TAKE money from the governments Hillary was visiting and dealing with while she was Secretary of State. The only thing that changed during her tenure was that no NEW governments were allowed to participate.

“Jihadi John”, whose real name is Mohammed Emwazi, is a Briton from a well-to-do family.  He grew up in London and has a college degree in computer programming.

Jihad isn’t about jobs.

Interesting article in the Washington Post describing the real life identity of “Jihadi John”, the ISIS executioner who has been seen on numerous ISIS video’s executing hostages. The executioner is identified as a rather affluent Kuwaiti national who grew up and lived in London’s west side. The details are interesting.

LONDON — The world knows him as “Jihadi John,” the masked man with a British accent who has beheaded several hostages held by the Islamic State and who taunts audiences in videos circulated widely online.

But his real name, according to friends and others familiar with his case, is Mohammed Emwazi, a Briton from a well-to-do family who grew up in West London and graduated from college with a degree in computer programming. He is believed to have traveled to Syria around 2012 and to have later joined the Islamic State, the group whose barbarity he has come to symbolize.

“I have no doubt that Mohammed is Jihadi John,” said one of Emwazi’s close friends who identified him in an interview with The Washington Post. “He was like a brother to me. . . . I am sure it is him.” (read more)

In an expression of logic that can only come from the mind of Al Sharpton – he expressed the following perspective:

“The intent to prove that Zimmerman did it because of his race, that is the legal threshold. Unless we change that legislation, we end up where we are in terms of the Trayvon Martin case”. (link)

And there you have the actual view.

Federal law defines hate crime as a crime carried out because of “race”. Sharpton wants to remove the hurdle of “racial intent”; in essence changing the definition so that any crime committed by a non-black, against a black person, can be considered a federal crime.

Think about that for a moment.

It is an interesting juxtaposition to review the 2015 Sybrina Fulton against the 2012 Sybrina Fulton.

Remember, this is Trayvon’s disconnected mother who never left Miami Gardens when she learned of his death. Nor did she know much about Trayvon, his activity, his general sensibility. In reality Sybrina had only known Trayvon for a little less than 2 years.
