(Via Daily Mail) Police have captured the man suspected of torturing and killing a family and their housekeeper before setting the mansion alight.

Daron Wint, 34, is wanted for the murders of American Iron Works CEO Savvas Savopoulos, his wife Amy, son Philip and housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa.

The dramatic arrest on Thursday night came after US Marshalls located Wind (sic) at a Howard Johnson Inn hotel close to Route 1 in Northeast DC, police told Daily Mail Online.

When they moved in to arrest him they discovered he had just left in a white Chevrolet Cruze, which was accompanied by a Ford Box Truck, allegedly filled with cash.

At 11pm, after tailing the vehicles with the help of a helicopter, the officers cornered them on Rhode Island Avenue, at the interchange with 12th Street.

Five other people, including his brother, were arrested with him and taken into custody without incident, chief Cathy Lanier confirmed.  (more…)

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

IRONY – The death toll from the “Twin Peaks” shootout was greater than the total number of homicides Waco police investigated in all of 2014 – And all of the “Twin Peaks” dead were shot by police.

Previously Waco Police Spokesman W. Patrick Swanton stated 22 members of law enforcement were present prior to the outbreak of the shooting.  Including 10 members of the Waco SWAT unit, 2 sergeants, 1 rookie, the Asst. Police Chief and 4 state troopers.
Newly released information today includes the Waco Police stating 14 Waco PD officers were involved in firing shots which killed 9 bike club members and wounded 18 more.

The 14 officers involved in the gun battle are all now on administrative leave, which is standard protocol in officer-involved shootings, Swanton said. (link)

In addition Sgt Swanton previously stated that all of the 170 arrested bikers were known “criminal gang members”.  However, a review by the Associated Press of court records finds at least 115 of the 170 had no police records: (more…)

Against the backdrop of her initial ‘Direct Action’ charges coming under scrutiny from numerous legal analysts and scholars, a defiant State Attorney Marilyn Mosby took her demand for charges to a grand jury.   Here is the result:

Notes: Officers Brian Rice, Edward Nero and Garrett Miller (bicycle patrol) no longer charged with “False Imprisonment”. This is obviously the result of the knife found on Freddie Gray being illegal, unlike Mosby’s initial claims. However, Mosby modified the GJ request and they are now charged with “reckless endangerment”. She also added “misconduct in office” charges to each of the accused. (more…)

BALTIMORE – Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake called the city’s recent spike in violence “disheartening” Thursday as police work to address a dramatic increase in homicides and nonfatal shootings.

“It’s extremely frustrating,” the mayor told reporters at a news conference. “It is disheartening, but I am still resolved to continue to reduce violent crime in our city.” (more…)

A school puts up posters promoting abstinence and warning young ladies to protect their virtue and “character” by not engaging in sex on prom night.  Planned Parenthood calls the advocacy program “despicable“, and encourages teen girls to dismiss the message.
Obviously the business model of Planned Parenthood has a vested interest in teen pregnancies.

Seventeen Magazine agrees with Planned Parenthood and supports all the girls having sex.

NO CRIMINAL HISTORY – Police have said that all of the arrested bikers were members of “criminal bike gangs”.  However, a review of court data bases by Associated Press finds more than 115 of the 170 people arrested in the aftermath of a motorcycle gang shootout outside a Central Texas restaurant have not been convicted of a crime in Texas.
