Speaking on behalf of Donald Trump, Sarah Palin gave a speech last night to a Wisconsin Republican audience.   Standing firmly on a platform of truth, Palin warned the mostly party (establishment) audience their decision to stand with deception in order to win an election also means placing themselves in a very precarious position.
The response from the audience to Sarah’s brutal honesty was what’s customarily known as “the collective nervousness of deceivers“.

Whenever anyone dares to tell the collective: ‘the emperor stands naked’; there’s a particular kind of autonomic group nervousness immediately evident.  A group discomfort.
Such was the discomfort when Sarah Palin mentioned Senator Ted Cruz’s weak and opportunistic immigration position, and then contrast a real-life example of Cruz going to McAllen Texas (Saturday, July 19th 2014) to hand out “gift baskets” and welcome illegal alien families.
You could hear a pin-drop as an entire audience sat jaw-agape in disbelief.

Hi all- update from South-Central Wisconsin— I spent all day knocking on doors and talking to people trying to get out the vote. I really feel like it was a good day. I taught several people how to register to vote. In my area, the good news is it appears like they haven’t all been brainwashed by the constant negative ads against Trump.
I actually had some tell me they were thinking of voting for him because of the way he is being treated. I have heard Trump’s new ad on the radio and have seen his tv commercials several times tonight. I’m fully engaged and will continue to work until the last vote is in.

Police were also called to Emory University, and Kansas University.  Coast to coast in several states and universities the National Guard has been requested to position in a state of readiness in case the chalkings continue….

Michigan University President Mark Schissel confirmed in a statement Thursday afternoon that slogans including “Trump 2016,” and “Build the Wall” had appeared on campus. (link)

According to Michigan Daily […]  Several students found the chalkings so offensive that they decided to alert the school’s Division of Public Safety and Security. A campus police officer responded to the scene, but told the students that there was little the department could do because it was after hours, at which point the students took it upon themselves to douse the writings with water and wipe them away. Finally some good news on the pushback to asset forfeiture…
(Via Reason) Some great news in asset forfeiture reform is coming out of Florida. S.B. 1044, approved by the legislature earlier in the month, was signed into law today by Gov. Rick Scott.
The big deal with this particular reform is that, in most cases, Florida police will actually have to arrest and charge a person with a crime before attempting to seize and keep their money and property under the state’s asset forfeiture laws. One of the major ways asset forfeiture gets abused is that it is frequently a “civil”, not criminal, process where police and prosecutors are able to take property without even charging somebody with a crime, let alone convicting them.
This is how police are, for example, able to snatch cash from cars they’ve pulled over and claim they suspect the money was going to be used for drug trafficking without actually finding any drugs.  (read more)

The Virginia State Trooper has been identified as Chad Dermyer.
He was 37.
Dermyer was married and has two children and was originally from Jackson Michigan.
He is a former marine and was at the Greyhound terminal for specialized training on criminal interdiction.
State police have also identified the man who opened fire on Dermyer as James Brown III, 34, of Aurora, Ill.   Two civilians were also shot at the terminal.  Brown was shot dead by two other troopers.
Brown was traveling from Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina to Chicago.  Brown has a history of violence including gun violence and drug activity.  Brown was well known to the authorities in/around Aurora Illinois, and had previously served two years in prison.
