The reverberations from open border policies, and mass immigration continue to surface.  The latest evidence is found today in North-Eastern Germany where the AfD party (Alternative for Deutschland/Germany), German Nationalists, has won a significant electoral victory in the home district of Angela Merkel.

(Via Reuters) German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s Christian Democrats were beaten into third place by the anti-immigrant and anti-Islam Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in a north-eastern state election on Sunday, TV exit polls showed.
In a stinging defeat for Merkel in her home district that could weaken her chances of a fourth term in next year’s federal elections, the upstart AfD took 21.9 percent of the vote behind the center-left Social Democrats (SPD) in their first election in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern by campaigning hard against the chancellor’s policies on refugees, according to a projection by ARD TV at 1.15 p.m. ET.
“This isn’t pretty for us,” said Michael Grosse-Broemer, one of Merkel’s top deputies in parliament in Berlin in a ZDF TV interview. “Those who voted for the AfD were sending a message of protest.” (more…)

There’s a screen grab below the fold highlighting a specific moment of giggling glee for Chris Wallace.  Remember, Wallace is a presidential debate moderator; however, he’s also one of the three specific figures (outlined in multi-sourced media reports) who was given instructions by Fox owner Rupert Murdoch to take down Trump.
Together with George Will, Wallace transparently plays out the Murdoch agenda.  Watch George Will ridiculing any reasonable immigration position by saying Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the face of all things horrible against the poor and misunderstood illegal aliens. The condescension is actually quite remarkable:

The systemic hatred toward the candidacy of Donald Trump needs as much sunlight as possible in order for people to fully grasp the scope of how the elite ruling and chattering class are responding when their rigged systems are challenged by the ordinary electorate.

If, like me, you haven’t been keeping up with the escalating crisis in Venezuela, you might be surprised at the scope of the protests in the past few days.
With massive food shortages still ongoing as a result of the economic crisis created by Nicholas Maduro policy, millions of people are now taking to the streets of the capital city of Caracus; and even chasing Maduro out of small towns and villages.

(Via ABC) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro reportedly was greeted by angry pot-banging protesters during a visit to Margarita Island.

Grainy cellphone videos said to be from the Friday night encounter were picked up by Venezuelan news sites and were trending on social media. The socialist leader is seen jogging through a crowd as residents loudly bang on pots and hurl obscenities.

His visit to Margarita Island earlier Friday evening was broadcast nationwide. Images of the protest were later posted by residents of the town where it reportedly occurred. (link)

Ground Report from Bluto: Feeling the Heat at the Yuge Arizona Trump Rally

Trump is on Fire!
His campaign is En Fuego!
The Phoenix Rally was hot, hot, HOT! Blazing!
And so is Bluto…man, I’m burning up. Two days out in the Arizona desert sun? In the Summer!? Yep, pass the Gatorade, this chill Mountain Man has been feeling the heat. So please excuse me for a moment, I need to start this piece with a little refreshing splash of something cool. I think I need a little water thrown on my face before I can continue.

Have you ever been on one of those crazy “River Rides” at an amusement park like Disneyland? So much fun! They buckle you into a large, circular raft with multiple seats. Enough seats on this raft, that you’re sure to be floating around with complete strangers, people only known to you as “that annoying guy standing ahead of me in line”. Fine. That’s Cool. Stranger Dude is also here to have fun, so let’s go together!
So here we all are, strangers & family members, riding on this big, spinning raft. Slowly going up, then crashing down into the water, again & again. Sometimes when you least expect it, just the smallest ebb of water suddenly rises up and you get totally soaked. Then at other times you’re bracing yourself as you see a roaring waterfall appear in your path, only to stop flowing the moment you arrive under it. (more…)
