NEW YORK – By the closing bell, the Dow rose 67 points or 0.35% to 19023, while the S&P 500 ticked up 4 points, or 0.22% to 2202, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 17 points, or 0.33% to 5386. Telecom, real estate, and consumer discretionary sectors led the gains.

Amid all the hand-wringing, angst and media-driven pundit protestations, one consistent principle remains: ..when it comes to Donald Trump’s intention, media narratives rely upon twisted information.  Today is no different.
The New York Post kicks off a media cycle by saying “Trump won’t pursue charges against Hillary Clinton“.  That daily headline is driven by a Kellyanne Conway interview on Morning Joe…. and so the narrative charges forth into the bloodstream.
Before we get too caught up in the discussion, it would be wise to remember another time when a similar media narrative began, from the exact same set of players, surrounding Donald Trump reversing his position on illegal alien deportation.
This prior narrative ultimately culminated in a Trump speech in Phoenix Arizona on the day candidate Trump met with Mexican political leadership.  There was no truth to the prior 36 hour narrative.
Within both narrative explosions you find the reason Trump used Steve Bannon to balance out the Kellyanne Conway-ism propensity toward overspeak, combined with media’s intentional use of that overspeak, ie. the sideshow.
President-Elect Donald Trump transparently wants and needs the legislative effort of congress focused on his agenda, his America-First platform.
President Trump does not want his bold advancement mired in the quicksand of DC swamp-water; represented by endlessly divisive and partisan congressional hearings constructed to give professional political party leadership airtime on TV media – and which also, inherently by design, go no-where.

The school bus driver was employed by an outside contracting agency for the district. This tragedy appears destined to end up in the ‘killed by cultural marxism’ file folder.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (CBS News/AP) – A school bus driver charged with vehicular homicide in a crash in Tennessee asked the children if they were ready to die, according to the mother of three kids who were aboard the bus. One of her children was among the five dead.

“My daughter said right before the bus flipped that he was speeding around the curve and asked them ‘Are y’all ready to die,’”Jasmine Mateen told CBS News correspondent Mark Strassman. Mateen’s 6-year-old daughter was killed.

Lots of chatter today about Donald Trump comments surround Hillary Clinton prosecution vs non-prosecution etc. as congress is pondering further investigation into personal email issues.
To concern voices I would remind: #1) Consider the source of information. #2) Who is more valuable to have as SoS. [tamp down] and AG.  #3) The email Clinton issue is “less than” – Remember, it’s the foundation… two Clinton captures are better than one… follow the money.

Also, don’t think Correct The Record (David Brock) is finished just because they lost the election. CTR has a vested financial interest in everything Clinton.  Think long-term.

There is a massive economic surge making noise just on the other side of the horizon; best understood within the following dichotomy:

♦ Manufacturing automation reduces the need for human capital.

♦ The outsourcing of U.S. manufacturing is due to lower labor costs overseas.

The inability to square that modern ideological and economic circle lies at the heart of a new economic paradigm, a second American economic revolution.

When W Edwards Demming exported his post world war II industrial manufacturing management skill to Japan, the key export was not technological – it was psychological.
There is something very unique to the American labor market that does not exist within global competitors; the ability to innovate, to think outside the box.
Within the culture of Americanism lies a very specific DNA strain that is non-conformational, or anti-status-quo.  It’s an immeasurable and unquantifiable factor in the success of American economic exceptionalism.  No other nation has found a way to duplicate it; the closest anti-establishment cultural sensibility is Australia.
