Yesterday he was a “rapist”, today he’s a “Jew”.   Note the progression here.   Found guilty of Apostasy (turning from Islam) sentenced to death for being Christian.   International outrage insues, so in the crazy islamist mindset they attach a worse charge “rapist”, but that don’t fly.  So now they charge him with a crime worse than being Christian, and worse than being a “rapist”;  The accusation of being, gulp, a Jew.   Oh my….
*UPDATE*  (AFP) — Iranian pastor Yusef Nadarkhani should face the death penalty for being a traitorous “Zionist” and committing “security crimes,” not for apostasy, an official said Friday according to Fars news agency, amid a Western outcry over his sentence.
Nadarkhani’s lawyer told AFP that the remarks by Gholam-Ali Rezvani, deputy governor general of the northern province of Gilan, where the pastor’s case is being reheard, were the first time security offences had been mentioned. (more…)

Youcef Nadarkhani is a 32-year-old Christian Evangelical Pastor scheduled to be executed in Iran for refusing to renouce his Christianity. His punishment under the charge of Apostasy, because of his parents Muslim heritage and for his being Christian, was three sessions of pain to produce his denial of faith. Wednesday, after a final session he was asked by an Islamic Judge to renounce his faith. He declined. His fate is unknown however recent developments are providing some hope.

With all the God-less hate in the world, this man needs our prayers.   Please just stop what you are doing RIGHT NOW and spend a minute in prayer to provide him strength, peace, and comfort.    He stands alone for all of us who are not able to stand beside him.
Youcef Nadarkhani will die because he refuses to denounce his christian faith.  Seem a distant geographic issue?   Yet in Tennessee football coaches are forbidden from even bowing their head to respect the Christian prayer of their athletes.   Think about it.

Religious freedom advocates are calling urgently for governments to take up the case of Youcef Nadarkhani, a 32-year-old evangelical first sentenced to death late last year.
