Seriously ? Radar Online Reporting: George Zimmerman Charity Boxing Match – March 1st

george zimmerman boxingGood thing George Zimmerman has chosen to keep a low profile.   I mean, what could possibly go wrong?  No, wait…

(Via Radar Online) You’ll never believe what George Zimmerman is up to now — or will you?

The man acquitted in the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin will step in the ring for a Celebrity Boxing match and is looking for an opponent, and in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com he says it’s a hobby he had “prior to the incident.”

“It was my idea,” Zimmerman, 30, says of the match that will be run by the event’s founder, Damon Feldman.

“Prior to the incident I was actually going to the gym for weight loss and doing boxing-type training for weight loss and a mutual friend put me in contact with Damon and provided me with an opportunity and motivation to get back in shape and continue with my weight loss goals and also be able to help a charity out.” (more…)

The Dude Just Can’t Catch A Break – AP serves George Zimmerman with a cease-and-desist order

Escher-StairwayNothing for nothing, but at a certain point you just gotta say George Zimmerman is stuck on an escalator built like an Escher Staircase.    Current Destination – Hateville.

Get a flipping grip world – it’s a painting.   Get that?

A Painting !

(Via Daily Mail)  George Zimmerman’s recent foray into the art  world hasn’t exactly earned him much critical praise. But it’s definitely  garnered him some attention – so much so that it could potentially get him sued  by one of the largest news-wire services on earth.

For his latest painting, the man acquitted of  murder in the shooting death of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin has painted  a portrait of Florida State Attorney General Angela Corey, who is the woman who  decided to charge Zimmerman with murder in Martin’s death. (more…)

Mark O’Mara Opines On “Angie”

zimmerman artwork 2

“Look, if he’s doing something that calms him down, keeps him out of the public eye, relaxes him, I think that’s a healthy habit to take on,” O’Mara said.

“I looked at the art,” he continued. “It’s an interesting picture, it carries a certain cuteness to me that she has that picture and that quote in it because you know my feelings about the way she handled herself and the ethics of the way the prosecution handled it’s case. Cute clip.” (link with audio clip)

George Zimmermans Second Artwork – “Angie”…

You might remember that Angela Corey cancelled an already impanelled Grand Jury and held a press conference to announce she was proceeding with the Second Degree murder charge on her own auspices. The artwork’s inspiration may have come from this photograph. (more…)

Orlando Sentinel Posts Short Interview Mark O’Mara: “No regrets defending Zimmerman, no miracle worker”…

Here are a few interesting snippets:

Mark O'Mara 1

Q: Will you move forward with a motion for sanctions against the state?

A: It’s pending. It’s actually more George’s decision than mine. He’ll let me know if he wants that done. I think he probably spent enough time in a criminal courtroom in Seminole County.

[…]  Q: What about the Florida Bar ethics inquiry related to how you handled the Zimmerman case?

A: It’s being dismissed, and it’s my understanding that’s in the works. I’m not worried about it because I sort of asked them to figure out what’s going on.  (continue reading)

One Month Follow Up…. “shortly” ?

Define “shortly”… ?

crump - O'Mara 2DECEMBER 17th 2013 […] The Florida Bar opened an inquiry, which included very specific questions regarding our policies for each and how we were conducting ourselves. We responded promptly and to The Florida Bar’s satisfaction, and the entire matter was deferred until after the trial. Although no further action has been taken since the verdict, the file has remained open. Yesterday, in response to a very specific question from the press, The Florida Bar followed their policy and confirmed that there was an “open matter” regarding me and the Zimmerman case.

Generally, The Florida Bar discourages public comment on pending matters, but in this instance, and since the matter was reported in a completely incomplete manner, and in a way that opened opportunity for inaccurate speculation, I’ve decided to respond. I am certain that matter will be closed shortly, and that the conclusion will suggest that we handled these new and novel approaches in an appropriate and ethical way. (continue reading)

The Omaha Toddler Controversy Continues – Natalie Jackson Blames Police Department

We knew early last week this was going to be a divisive discussion because the inherent reality is stark and uncomfortable.

From what can be gathered from follow-up media reports the “mother” was 14 when the child was born (she is now 16).  The toddler was once injured with shrapnel during a drive by shooting, as the mother was also shot in the stomach. The child’s father was killed by a rival gang at the age of 17.

Child protective services, has been involved on more than one occasion with this family, and as a result of this video, and subsequent investigation, removed four children from the home. Trayvon Martin family attorney, Natalie Jackson, blames the police. This exchange with CNN’s Don Lemon is worth watching:

Mark O'Mara, BAR Inquiries, And The Questions Everyone Is Missing…

A few days ago someone shared a link to an Orlando Sentinel article which outlined a Florida BAR investigation into Mark O’Mara. Then ABC News came out with a similar article.  Both media reports generally vague in their descriptives.
O'Mara Zimmerman
The Orlando Sentinel pulled one of their now infamous switcheroo’s and took down the content of their original article (Jeff Weiner – 12/16) replacing it with this one (Rene Stutzman – 12/17) and intentionally not noting the change, or informing readers. They have done this numerous times in the past:

[…] The bar confirmed Monday that O’Mara was the subject of an ethics complaint but provided no details, including who filed it and what allegations it included. (O.S. Link)

You can identify the O.S. manipulative switcheroo because the link was posted to The TreeHouse at 8:40pm December 16th –  and the date is visible in the actual full link:  https://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/local/trayvon-martin/os-george-zimmerman-omara-complaint-20131216,0,3523757.story (where 20131216 is 2013, 12-16 year/date)
Yet if you follow the link you end up at an article dated 3:55pm  Dec 17th.  So what they did was delete the content of the article (written by Jeff Weiner) and replace it the next day with content written by Rene Stutzman.    Putting the 12/16 Weiner article content in the proverbial disappearing hole.  As if it never existed.   Ask yourself why? Six Figure Support – Zimmerman Painting Update – Three Days Left To Place Bids

The word is out now on all major media, well, *almost all, about George Zimmerman selling his original artwork on eBay.    The current top bid at this writing is over $110,000.
Zimmerman painting 2Zimmerman Painting*Some media outlets are not sharing the story probably due to their left-wing editorial decision not to assist higher bids with increased publicity.
We saw in the run-up to the trial how many media outlets were vocally allowing their leftist ideology to determine the content of their publications;  especially those with race-driven (ie black) ideologues as editors – such as the Orlando Sentinel.
However, the artwork by Zimmerman representing the patriotic resilience of the U.S. flag, and the uniting principle of the pledge of allegiance is very apropos.   As a first artwork it should fetch a considerable sum.   In part for what the image represents, but in larger part for what the artist represents in the work itself.
We can envision a Four Series Set.   The Foundational Flag as the first;  The Scales of Justice as the second, The Liberty Bell as a third, and a Blindfolded Lady Liberty as the Fourth.
The actual target audience of potential buyers is large.  It’s quite easy to imagine  a large law firm, or wealthy person in the legal field being willing to pay large amounts of money for what the image represents to Justice and Liberty.
Good Luck George Zimmerman and..

MERRY CHRISTMAS !
