(Via Washington Free Beacon)  The Department of Homeland Security’s release of thousands of illegal immigrants from detention centers and plans to furlough tens of thousands of border agents comes as the agency continues to hire and spend money on what congressional critics say are questionable projects.

The Free Beacon found that DHS has embarked on a hiring spree even as it releases “low risk” detainees. More than 100 job openings were listed for DHS on the government’s job board site as of March 13.

A sample of the full-time jobs the DHS is looking to fill include three regional director positions, with a salary range of $118,846 to $155,500; two emergency management specialists for FEMA, who can earn up to $100,859; and several supervisor federal air marshals, whose salary ranges are $119,554 to $172,550. Several personnel security specialists are also being sought and employees can earn up to $97,333 a year. (more…)

Washington DC – Vice President Biden will lead the U.S. delegation to the installation of Pope Francis, an administration official confirmed to The Washington Examiner.

The ceremony is expected to take place in Rome on Tuesday. Biden is both the highest-ranking Catholic official in the United States and the first-ever Catholic vice president. (link)

The Zimmerman family comes from a Southern U.S. experience and traditional South American Catholic heritage.

Within each there’s a heavy heritage about rules, and how you “get along with folks”, both constructs are essentially emotionally conservative, perhaps to a fault.

Visible responses when framed as ‘public displays’ which can be construed as ‘violations’ of the laws governing “how to be a nice person” are so strong, they actually can over-rule the basic instinct for self-preservation.

Standing back and looking objectively toward the Zimmerman clan, the instinct for self-preservation (in the context of community) is what seems to be crippled; And “community” for them is — the other nice people.    So if all the nice people stick together and continue being nice, everything will be ok.

As long as everyone in the community is nice, that works. (more…)

A massive amount of division lays at the heart of many George Zimmerman supporters regarding his legal counsel Mark O’Mara.    In an effort to heal the infection – here is why it matters, and what it infers moving forward.

Personally, I am not a fan of Mark O’Mara – simply because I do not trust, nor am I willing to excuse, those who have shown a history of untrustworthy behavior.   However, I will try to disassociate myself from opinion and reflect upon the integrity issues within, because, quite frankly, George has NO option(s) – For better or worse, he’s stuck with him.

History –  Mark O’Mara ideologically, like his friend and CNN contributor Mark NaJame, is more in alignment with the people who are prosecuting George Zimmerman than the people who support him.   Mark O’Mara’s central outlook toward life is “progressive”, and he infers that sentiment into his approach.   This ideology and familiarity is why Mark NaJame’s firm recommended O’Mara.

In short, he’s a legally left-leaning Democrat; and his views on gun ownership, stand-your-ground laws and trial lawyers, are counterintuitive to the position of the client he represents.

Most professionals would argue that attorneys are capable of separating their individual biases when advocating for clients positions.   This is generally true;  However in the case of Mark O’Mara he has specifically framed George Zimmerman’s positions on the case as if he is distancing himself from his client.   Intellectually honest persons would agree with this overall impression that O’Mara exudes. This should come as no surprise, and yet simultaneously emphasize the reason why the George Zimmerman prosecution continues. Additionally, the Community Relations Service (CRS) is within the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ and they are a prime example of the manipulative racial dysfunction within the larger organization…. Example: George Zimmerman case [Miami-Dade and Orlando].

(Via PJ Media) Today the Department of Justice inspector general released a report on potential Labor secretary nominee Tom Perez’s DOJ Civil Rights Division. The timing of the release to coincide with his nomination was certainly accidental, because the report paints a damning portrait of the DOJ unit he managed.

Ohhh, now there’s a surprise…. Let’s see, when was the last budget signed into law?  Oh yeah, September of 2007 by George W Bush….  Since then, not one single day of Obama’s presidency has been while the Federal government had a budget restriction. 

Not.One.Day.

WASHINGTON DC – President Obama’s plans won’t balance the federal budget in the coming decade, he said Tuesday, stressing that his top priority is growing the economy and not a balanced budget.

“My goal is not to chase a balanced budget just for the sake of balance. My goal is how do we grow the economy, put people back to work, and if we do that we are going to be bringing in more revenue,” he said in an interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos.

Obama said he’s opposed to House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s budget plan released Tuesday, which would balance the budget in a decade. (more…)

OHIO – She admitted voting twice in the presidential election last November, and now, Obama supporter Melowese Richardson has been indicted for allegedly voting at least six times. She also is charged with illegal voting in 2008 and 2011.

The 58-year-old veteran Cincinnati poll worker, indicted Monday, faces eight counts of voter fraud. Two others, one of whom is a nun, have been charged separately.

Richardson had admitted on camera to a local TV station, “Yes, I voted twice,” claiming she was concerned that her vote would not count. She also said there “was no intent on my part to commit any voter fraud.” (more…)
