It isn’t about the administration, and members, it shouldn’t be about this administration at the state level nor should it be about the federal administration when it comes to Obamacare, but in fact it is. And why is that? Why is that? I have talked to so many members both in the House and the Senate, and you know what? You ready? You ready for what it comes down to? It is not about how many federal dollars we can receive, it is not about that. You ready? It is about race. I know nobody wants to talk about that. The Daily Caller collected the data on White House visitors and put it into a graph form. The main reason for them doing so was to highlight the implausible nature of the IRS Commissioner, Douglas Shulman, visiting the White House 157 times and not discussing the intentional targeting of “Conservatives”.

The Associated Press, The New York Times, Reuters, CNN, FOX, NBC, The Huffington Post and more, are refusing the “off record” reach out by Eric Holder to justify his personal approval of  targeting the media by the Dept. Of Justice.  He wants a meeting to explain his secret investigation(s) of the media, but he only wants to conduct the meeting “off the record”, in secret, away from public scrutiny.

I guess there’s only so much water the Administration’s lapdogs can actually carry.  Who knew?

Washington (CNN) – Attorney General Eric Holder’s plans to sit down with media representatives to discuss guidelines for handling investigations into leaks to the news media have run into trouble.

The Associated Press issued a statement Wednesday objecting to plans for the meetings to be off the record. “If it is not on the record, AP will not attend and instead will offer our views on how the regulations should be updated in an open letter,” said Erin Madigan White, the AP’s media relations manager.

The New York Times is taking the same position. “It isn’t appropriate for us to attend an off-the-record meeting with the attorney general,” executive editor Jill Abramson said in a statement. (more…)

Hey, ya gotta give em’ props for honesty.  The Syrian “rebels” admit they are al-Qaeda, and the folks that met John McCain were only pitchmen – not commanders, and not representative of the real ideology behind uprising.

FACT:  Eric Holder approved and affirmed a phone records subpoena claiming Fox News journalist, James Rosen, was an unindicted co-conspirator to domestic terrorism charges.  He then went judge shopping to get the subpoenas validated;  two judges said NO, the 3rd agreed to approve.   Holder said after reading about it in the Washington Post he regrets doing it.  

However, prior to that coming out,  on May 15th Holder went before congress and said:

“with regard to potential prosecution of the press for disclosure of material, that is not something that I have ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be a wise policy.”

A flat out lie.  No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it.   He was “involved in”;  He had “heard of”; and he did “think it was a wise policy”;  After all, he approved it.

But according to the White House, Holder was being truthful. (more…)

First a few general house keeping fyi’s.  My sincere apologies for anyone who felt slighted by sending a Twitter DM and not getting a response.  We barely use Twitter; The auto-twitter feature that dispatches post notifications is on auto-pilot and we rarely go to the actual Treehouse Twitter home page.  Only yesterday I became aware of the DM feature and upon checking the ‘envelopey thing’ realized people had submitted notes that sat unattended.  Again, my apologies.

Meet The Clockers:   The revelation that Trayvon Martin’s phone holds a video he made of a homeless man being beaten by Trayvon and his team of co-horts is, well, a big deal.  A VERY big deal.

This means the State of Florida has known since, well, lets be generous, June/July of last year, that they possessed evidence of a crime.   Obviously, it appears they did nothing about it – most likely because it would have presented itself as a diminishment to their case and the narrative of innocent, skittle carrying, teenage Trayvon.

However, now the video is known by both the Defense and the Prosecution, and by consequence the media, I’m sure someone would want to follow up on the criminal activity the video documents.    Someone, anyone, right? (more…)

Trayvon was 17, smoked dope, sold drugs, drank “lean” drug cocktail with frequency, burglarized homes, video’s himself and peeps beating homeless guy, bought sold guns, participated in organized MMA street fights, kicked out of school three times, kicked out of his Mom’s house, no parental supervision, and put on bus – sent to Sanford FL with a rolled up baggie of marijuana stuffed between his butt cheeks.

Now that he’s been shot and killed, his family attorney, Benjamin Crump, says shooter trial is “the civil rights case of the century” – while playing the “race-card” 24/7……
