Today, June 24th, is DAY #11 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. The first day of the actual trial. The previous two weeks were jury selection and the conclusion of the Frye Hearing.
Over the weekend Judge Debra Nelson ruled that State voice identification experts would not be allowed to claim Trayvon Martin was the voice heard calling for help on the 911 call tapes based on unproven science. The jury reported for sequestered duty on Sunday.

You’ll never get the 22 minutes back again, but you’ve come this far….
It’s amazing really to pause and reflect upon the fact THIS, this conversation, this interview, is the ONLY evidence that created the probable cause affidavit and led to the arrest of George Zimmerman. The entire case is established around this. And yet, she’ll never reach the Witness Stand….

“No stones left unturned, eh’ Pam”?

Damn these brownies are stale….. Hey guys, did I ever tell you that Pam Bondi’s father Joseph Bondi (deceased 01-09-13) worked professionally as a curriculum consultant for Miami-Dade Public Schools? I wonder what level of impact a curriculum consultant would have for school discipline vis-a-vis input into “Baker Acting” students?
Rumor is that Ms. Bondi took this case on personally, no? Y’all just thunk it was perhaps because she knew Crump because of the Martin Lee Anderson case. Do me a favor and slide me one of them cannolis… yeah, right there, next to the picture of her meeting with that M-DSPD Chief and Alberto Carvalho on March 1st 2012.
OK Chief…. “Locked and Loaded”….
I was wit’ him on Friday?…. Friday?… wait,…. huh… wha?….. Friday?
Friday?…. who dat?
True Dat’ ! (more…)
On the eve of the “real” first day of trial….. I’m afforded a particular liberty now, not 100% but still much more, than was available before.
So let’s take you with us a little on the journey per se:
Please understand that there are still so many aspects we must prudently keep from open disclosure – The “scraping” of the Tree House as a prosecution resource is, as it has been for the past year, a concern before keystrokes.
I’ve been more open lately (less filtered) with the M-DSPD aspects because quite frankly the hourglass sand has been disappearing rapidly as of late – All building toward this date.
After spending thousands of hours, and thousands of miles, on this journey I can say with relative confidence the “TRUTH” about Trayvon in Miami-Dade is far worse than even the most die-hard insider would grasp. (more…)
Judge Nelson has ruled in the Frye Hearing regarding the admissibility of the State’s audio “expert witnesses” Owens and Reich.
The Order has caught many people by surprise and her ruling is a potential game changer for the positioning of the State’s case.
Nelson has ruled that their testimony will be excluded, however, both sides can play the 9-11 tapes for the jury and both sides can call witnesses, if they choose, to affirm which party (Martin or Zimmerman) they feel was calling for “Help”.
The Miami Herald, hardly sympathetic to the Zimmerman position, reported the ruling as a “major blow to the prosecution”.

Judge Nelson still has not provided a ruling on whether conflicting “expert” testimony will be permitted in the trial.
