The Purge Mentality Comes To Saint Louis

Many people are alarmed that the FBI has announced an expectation for “extremist protesters” with a specific intent for violence in/around Saint Louis/Ferguson Missouri.
However, this is not the first time this year such an alarming declaration has been made.  After the ABC article spotlighting the Ferguson/Saint Louis unrest, we’ll share the earlier episode everyone seems to forget:

SAINT LOUIS – As the nation waits to hear whether a Missouri police officer will face charges for killing unarmed teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., the FBI is warning law enforcement agencies across the country that the decision “will likely” lead some extremist protesters to threaten and even attack police officers or federal agents.
Peaceful protesters could be caught in the middle, and electrical facilities or water treatment plants could also become targets. In addition, so-called “hacktivists” like the group “Anonymous” could try to launch cyber-attacks against authorities. (more…)

Bret Baier utilized research tonight on his show “Special Report” that was done by Jane Hamsher -back in 2010 and 2011- surrounding Jonathan Gruber and the construct of ObamaCare legislation.  Hamsher did an exceptional job, yet, at the time, few were listening….

FLASHBACK MAY 2010 – HUFFINGTON POST Up until this point, most of the attention regarding the failure to disclose the connection between Jonathan Gruber and the White House has fallen on Gruber himself. Far more troubling, however, is the lack of disclosure on the part of the White House, the Senate, the DNC and other Democratic leaders who distributed Gruber’s work and cited it as independent validation of their proposals, orchestrating the appearance of broad consensus when in fact it was all part of the same effort.
The White House is placing a giant collective bet on Gruber’s “assumptions” to justify key portions of the Senate bill such as the “Cadillac tax,” which they allowed people to believe was independent verification. Now that we know that Gruber’s work was not that of an independent analyst but rather work performed as a contractor to the White House and paid for by taxpayers, and economists like Larry Mishel are raising serious questions about its validity, it should be made publicly available so others can judge its merits. Worse than watching the old CBS water-carrier pontificate about being snookered (against the backdrop of him selling this insufferable BS for four years) is the old ideological coot, Bob Schieffer, being too entrenched in his own elite liberalism to recognize that Gruber wasn’t disparaging the deception needed to pass ObamaCare – HE WAS BRAGGING ABOUT IT.
Idiot.
Bob Schieffer takes to the airwaves to proclaim he is just “dumbstruck” that Jonathan Gruber would be making such statements about how they constructed the law to deceive the American electorate.

Imagine for a moment U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron delivering a speech at a U.S. university, while attending a global summit in the U.S. hosted by President Obama.
Imagine Mr. Cameron taking to the stage of the university and orating how the current administration holds no value toward the founding fathers of the U.S. Constitution.
Further imagine how it would be received if Mr. Cameron’s guest speech was about how nationalized socialistic healthcare, specifically ObamaCare, was corrosive and destructive to the foundational principles of our Republic.  Or if how Obama’s refusal to allow the Keystone pipeline was indicative of his communistic tendencies.

If that were ever to happen the professional left, and the U.S. administration, would be apoplectic with anger at the arrogance of such an undiplomatic and uncouth display.  It’s easy to imagine Chris Matthews shouting about how such an event would be ill-mannered and intentionally embarrassing the President.
However, that level of imaginary arrogance wasn’t imaginary this past weekend.  That is exactly what President Obama did while attending the G20 Summit in Brisbane Australia. (more…)

The important aspect to this Buzzfeed story is not Über rising to say how wonderful ObamaCare is for their business model.  The important aspect is revealing, yet again, the insufferable biases within media outlets.
Against an avalanche of newly fueled Gruber ObamaCare sunlight, the far-left moonbats are trying to find ways to point out the glory of ObamaCare despite the fact it was constructed around lies and falsehoods.   In essence, and as typical, ‘the ends justify the means’.
Into this need steps the media enterprise Buzzfeed.  A quasi-journalistic source of social media and current event information which passes itself off as ‘journalism’.   Buzzfeed starts off with this paragraph:

The CEO of Uber said Friday that Obamacare has played a crucial role for his army of drivers, an unusual, partial endorsement of the president’s signature policy from a man often cast as a hero of anti-government libertarianism.

Wow, a company benefitting from ObamaCare and willing to take a policy and strategic media approach to announce as such…… Or is there something missing.  (more…)

About a decade ago, as the millennial generation entered the workforce, we noted the “everyone deserves a trophy” view was leading directly to a very specific vision of liberal utopia.
As the years have “progressed” the ideology has mainstreamed to a fevered pitch.  The overarching Marxist ideology -born within the think tank branches of the Frankfurt School- was finally dropping the ripened fruit.

In New York, Mayor Bloomberg knows better: you don’t need Soda, Donuts or Salt;  Michelle Obama knows what your kids need in their lunches;  Barack Obama and Jonathan Gruber know what healthcare you deserve…. the entire ideological spectrum of fellow travelers look down upon the proletariat:  “all your children are belong to us“.
By 2009 the domestic team was assembled.  Regulatory Czar, Cass Sunstein, was appointed by the head of the organization to synergize the various constructs:
♦ The EPA would control your energy use  ♦ the FDA would advance upon your food/beverage allowances ♦ the Dept of Education would adjust the generational indoctrination principles to reflect the modern advances, and the need to move the goalposts further away from traditional values.
Banking and Finance sectors would be regulated to insure effective Social Engineering was possible;  HHS would insure healthcare apportionment was under full regime control, meanwhile the DOJ would be utilized the insure compliance.
In order to insure the required electoral groups stayed asleep – the principles of dependency would simultaneously be expanded.   This was essentially paying off the electorate for allowing the constructs to continue.   Pullet lever – get pellet.

LITMUS TEST !!!   Enough is Enough

WESTMINSTER — An unruly public hearing on a proposal to prohibit the sale of tobacco products came to a sudden and rowdy halt Wednesday evening after shouting and clapping opponents of the ban repeatedly refused the chairwoman’s request to come to order.

The ban, proposed by the Board of Health in this Central Massachusetts town, would be the first of its kind in the state. It has led to angry reactions from residents who worry that it will hurt the local economy and allow government too much discretion in controlling private conduct.
“This is about freedom; it’s my body and it’s my choice to smoke,” said Nate Johnson, 32, a Westminster farmer and auto body worker. He was puffing on a cigarette at a rally before the hearing where opponents held signs saying “It’s not about tobacco — it’s about control” and “Smoke ’em if you got them.” (more…)
