The story initially began back in March of 2014 when several black Philadelphia politicians were caught in a corruption probe and sting operation. At the time the newly elected Democrat PA Attorney General stepped in and pressured the Philadelphia prosecutor to drop charges; the reasoning was incredulous.

The corruption investigation itself was called racist because only the black politicians accepted the bribes. All politicians were offered bribes, but only the black politicians took the bribes – ergo the new State AG, Kathleen Kane, said the STING was racist. The local Philadelphia media reported on the story, which essentially shamed the Philly DA into filing charges. Last month two of the lawmakers were charged – the Philly lawmakers admitted their guilt.
However, the story gets even more bizarre. The State AG was busted leaking information from the secret Grand Jury in Philadelphia who originally proposed charges against the corrupt Philly politicians. Kathleen Kane was said to have given information about the Grand Jury investigation to The Philadelphia Daily News. This turned investigative attention toward the State Attorney General, Kathleen Kane, who, if proven, would have just committed a very serious crime – for nothing more than political motive. (more…)

Paris (AFP) – More than 700,000 people on Saturday took to streets across France in tribute to the 17 people killed in three days of violence by Islamist extremists, the interior minister said.

From Nice and Marseilles in the south to Besancon in the east and Lille in the north, people poured onto the streets to express their solidarity following Wednesday’s attack on the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo that left 12 dead. The massacre was followed by the fatal shooting of a police officer on Thursday and the murder of four hostages during a siege at a Jewish supermarket on Friday. (more…)

Cultural Marxism strikes again. Four “hoodie clad” teens decide to rob a female oriented gun store.  The female owner is hit in the face by the first thug. The owner and her husband fight back. The husband is killed during the shootout. The media refuse to identify “the teens”:

Missouri – The female owner of a Shawnee gun shop was released from the hospital Saturday, less than 24 hours after a violent Friday afternoon robbery attempt that resulted in the death of her husband, a co-owner of the business.
Becky Bieker, who was struck in the face when four men entered her She’s A Pistol gun shop Friday, was released from Overland Park Regional, a hospital spokesman said Saturday. Two other individuals — teenagers suspected of being involved with the attempted robbery — remained at the hospital in fair condition. (more…)

French President Francois Hollande decried “racism and anti-Semitism” in the wake of the deadly siege of a kosher grocery store in Paris in his televised address.  The president also stressed that the actions of the hostage takers “have nothing to do with Islam.” (link)

Think about this case carefully.  Think about all of the ramifications to it. 
A 17-year-old cancer patient does not want to undergo chemotherapy.  She asked her mom to support her decision.  After various long-term discussions, Mom agreed that her daughter should have her wishes respected.  The state steps in and says no, the teen must have Chemo.   She is now physically locked inside a Connecticut hospital, having forced treatment against her will.  She cannot leave.  She turns 18 in September this year.
*Additional note – If she wanted to have an abortion, in the same hospital, under the current state laws and rules, she alone could decide and would not need parental approval/notification…. 
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A 17-year-old girl being forced by state officials to undergo chemotherapy for her cancer said Thursday she understands she’ll die if she stops treatment but it should be her decision.
The state Supreme Court ruled earlier in the day state officials aren’t violating the rights of the girl, Cassandra C., who has Hodgkin lymphoma.
Cassandra told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview from her hospital it disgusts her to have “such toxic harmful drugs” in her body and she’d like to explore alternative treatments. She said by text she understands “death is the outcome of refusing chemo” but believes in “the quality of my life, not the quantity.”
“Being forced into the surgery and chemo has traumatized me,” Cassandra wrote in her text. “I do believe I am mature enough to make the decision to refuse the chemo, but it shouldn’t be about maturity, it should be a given human right to decide what you want and don’t want for your own body.” (more…)

Defense Lawyer [Public Defender]: “Your honor, in light of what’s happening in this country with unarmed black men being killed by police, him running from shots being fired is a very reasonable response”.
Broward County Judge [ Jay Hurley ]: “Don’t give me that, That is so off base. We’ve got a young man, I don’t care what color he is, he’s in a neighborhood he doesn’t live in at 1:41 in the morning, hiding under somebody’s dock in the water with a holster on after a police officer had a shot taken at him. Don’t hand me this, ‘running from police brutality’. […] That is not appropriate in this case. I’m not going to let you poison this case with bringing in something that has nothing to do with it”.
The judge is now under fire (first two minutes of this news video) and the grievance industry is aligning to get the judge fired.

In an appearance to promote the upcoming season of his HBO talk show, liberal commentator Bill Maher slammed politically-correct liberals for not truly standing up for free speech in the aftermath of the attack on the Charlie Hebdo offices. Maher referred to the aforementioned liberals as a “pussy nation,” adding that they must stand up for their principles.

Hugh Hewitt challenges Catholic League President Bill Donohue on the following statement:

…”While some Muslims today object to any depiction of the Prophet, others do not. Moreover, visual representations of him are not proscribed by the Koran. What unites Muslims in their anger against Charlie Hebdo is the vulgar manner in which Muhammad has been portrayed. What they object to is being intentionally insulted over the course of many years. On this aspect, I am in total agreement with them.

Stephane Charbonnier, the paper’s publisher, was killed today in the slaughter. It is too bad that he didn’t understand the role he played in his tragic death. In 2012, when asked why he insults Muslims, he said, “Muhammad isn’t sacred to me.” Had he not been so narcissistic, he may still be alive. Muhammad isn’t sacred to me, either, but it would never occur to me to deliberately insult Muslims by trashing him”…

Let it not be said that Islamists have the market cornered on moonbat religious idiocy.
Whereas earlier we shared MSNBC equivocating lawsuits with murderous slaughter, similarly Catholic League President Bill Donohue essentially says, yeah, well those horrible cartoonists deserved it; they had it coming; they asked for it….
(Via TR) Bill Donohue, President of the Catholic League, decried the violence of the Charlie Hebdo massacre on his organization’s website, but contended the French satirical magazine brought the attack on itself by publishing offensive cartoons. Donohue started by saying that the killing, “must be unequivocally condemned” but “neither should we tolerate the kind of intolerance that provoked this violent reaction.”

“Those who work at this newspaper have a long and disgusting record of going way beyond the mere lampooning of public figures, and this is especially true of their depictions of religious figures. For example, they have shown nuns masturbating and popes wearing condoms. They have also shown Muhammad in pornographic poses. (more…)
