It will soon be the busiest time of year at the company I work for, and for the past several weeks, I have been screening job candidates and arranging interviews, mostly with young adults, for entry-level or seasonal positions. I find that maybe one in five or so candidates meet my minimum standards for an interview, and very few go on to make a good impression after phone contact and an interview. It seems like some of these young people have been raised in an Occupy camp, but when you draw them out, they come mostly from normal middle class homes, and often Mom or Dad is waiting in the car or the store. Their parents may have even made the first contact, inquiring whether there was a position available. I hope if you have a teenager or even college student seeking employment you have thought through the things you might be able to help them with to seriously seek employment.  (more…)

(USAToday)…George Zimmerman wants a new judge to preside over his murder trial for shooting Trayvon Martin, arguing the current judge is biased against him.
Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, filed a motion to disqualify Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Lester, who revoked Zimmerman’s bond and then set a new, substantially higher bond.
“Mr. Zimmerman has a reasonable fear that he cannot get a fair trial or a fair stand your ground hearing by this court,” O’Mara wrote. “The court makes gratuitous, disparaging remarks about Mr. Zimmerman’s character; advocates for Mr. Zimmerman to be prosecuted for additional crimes; offers a personal opinion about the evidence for said prosecution; and continues to hold over Mr. Zimmerman’s head the threat of future contempt proceedings.”  (more…)

(MSNBC.com)…A special prosecutor in the second-degree murder case against George Zimmerman released more evidence Thursday, including a first glimpse at what the FBI has found in its civil rights investigation with dozens of witnesses.  The evidence released by Special Prosecutor Angela Corey also included interviews from one of her investigators with Trayvon Martin’s cousin, who was with him the night before Martin was shot.

My eyes did not start to OPEN until I read “The Treeper Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.”
Then there is the bottom layer to all this. What some know and MOST don’t. I am the latter. Quite frankly I don’t want to know why 5 men are running around an office building at night with flashlights. Not yet! I need to be able to discuss this case without having said discussion tainted by thoughts I am unable to express.
Then yesterday Mrs. Obama was INVADING my neighborhood for a speaking engagement at UCF and I heard a student say this, “…if Obama wins Florida he wins the election.”
I remember SD your complaints about O’Mara not going fast enough, hard enough, and so on and WOW revelation.

Yes, Yes, a million BINGO’s !!   Forgive me for finding such joy in seeing someone “GET IT“.   Hence, well, hence all of that DC crap – From the Rose Garden to ridiculous Congressional hearings etc.  Which is why we tried to sound the warning bells of Turtlesque O’Mara when we considered the case has far more reaching implications than George and Shellie Zimmerman.    Previous to that we also outlined in update #29 that NONE OF THESE PEOPLE WERE GOING TO GIVE UP.
Who benefits from a delayed drawn out trial?   “They do“.  All of them.

Make no mistake, the charging of George Zimmerman is political.  Political, using the judiciary as cover for agenda driven interests.   We know this,  I am somewhat preaching to the choir.  If this was a case, or nation, based on “Laws”, George Zimmerman would never have been arrested; unfortunately this case, and our nation in the bigger scheme of things, is now subject to the rules of men.   Men with agenda driven interests.  However, now that we have been able to shake off some pontificating discussion hijackers, it’s time to get back to to the righteous business of Truth Seeking research.
If you want to win in the court of public opinion the first goal is to make Truth evident.  The second goal is to make the refusal of accepting truth subject to ridicule.   So begins the research request for this thread. (more…)

MORGAN: Your client is out. He got his bond. People have been a little bit surprised. Some, well, actually eight Treepers want the research on Mark O’Mara to stop.  They include: Mwsomerset, bill, M4, Labrat, Stephaufla, ejarra, Sandy, raiikun, and CleaningMyGun specifically.  Four more apparently think it is a waste of  time, they include:  CiGuy, Chirality, Risefrombelow and Freedom Patriot.
So in essence that’s twelve people who think O’Mara is a solid attorney for George Zimmerman.   There are probably a few more unknown.  Fair enough.
Question:  Imagine we are at war.  We are on an aircraft carrier and we have been told we are headed to battle.   What good does it do for us to muster in the Combat Ops planning room preparing our plans for an island assault strategy when the captain of the ship is steaming forward in a different direction?
All the conversational planning in the world ain’t gonna help us when we arrive at a divergent destination than we anticipated.  That’s why it’s kinda important to know exactly who is steering the ship, where it is headed, and what to expect.  No?
To borrow a thought from Gretchen:   Some here are willingly blinded by the luminescence of a “very experienced and competent criminal trial lawyer” a constant refrain among those who defend Mark O’Mara.
Mark O’Mara’s manifold errors have been exposed and blogged about here, in detail I might add, yet do not seem to make an impression. One must not look at the growing mountain of FACTS, but must seek to fixate on one thing or another that bolsters a particular viewpoint, apparently.  (more)

If you have not read the books (trilogy), you should.   If you haven’t watched the movie, well, that’s good too.   Both Treeper Sibilj and Treeper DiwataMan remind me of these two characters; they are quite good dot connectors and in a most unusual way they are keenly on the same trail from two different angles… quite similar.   Life imitates art.
DiwataMan has a construct of what he calls a conspiracy theory – Sibilj has a prediction for where this is headed.   The theory is really close to dead center mass – The prediction is, well, unless things change quickly, at this point, a virtual certainty.

[comment] Why are people claiming that other people are claiming O’Mara is going to throw or lose the case purposefully?  Has Sundance or anyone claimed that?  My position is that, albeit conspiratorial, this case will go to trial no matter what and the powers that be are going to make sure that happens. The main reason is that no one then but a jury will be responsible for impending riots, everyone has covered their butts.
Has O’Mara had anything regarding this case that would allow him to file to get the case thrown out? Will he have a SYG hearing? I bet he will but I bet it will also fail, it has to fail or else that judge who would throw the case out then would be the one to have to answer to all of his little buddies as to why he just allowed the State of Florida to be put into a position of potentially losing billions of dollars, lol, nobody want to be that guy, this thing is going to a jury and the decision to make sure that happens probably occurred when Bondi and Scott got together.  (continue reading)

DiwataMan is mostly right, and essentially on the right track here.   Indeed if I have given anyone the opinion that a loss in this case is Zimmerman in jail, then allow me to clear up the miscommunication on my part.   A loss is this case going to TRIAL. (more…)
