Donald Trump Questioned Again In New Hampshire About Ted Cruz “Eligibility”….

It started with the Washington Post asking candidate Donald Trump about Ted Cruz’s eligibility to run for President because Ted Cruz was a Canadian citizen until last year.  The question surfaced again last night – and the media continue to frame the answers as Trump attacking Cruz.

In November democrat Alan Grayson stated his intention to sue Ted Cruz over his eligibility or lack thereof.  Trump appears to be responding (below) to the intent of Grayson to tie up the issue in court:

According to the outline in the following documentation (Birth Certificate Below), both of Ted Cruz’s parents were Canadian Citizens at the time he was born in Calgary: (more…)

Cruz Doubles Down – Proselytizing As An Electoral Strategy…

TODAY –  Sen. Ted Cruz Tells Volunteers: We Can Win ‘If We Awaken And Energize The Body Of Christ” (link)

“PROSELYTIZE”: using faith to recruit someone to join one’s party, institution, or cause…

There is a strategy, albeit a rather divisive strategy, which can be deployed politically by those intentionally selecting a very specific gathering of supporters.

cruz and beck

In a highly fractured presidential bid, this proselytizing strategy may even garner enough of a base to mount a bid amid a larger field of candidates. However, it is exceptionally narrow -hence works only amid large numbers of possible options- and can ultimately only gain the advocate a small percentage of the overall audience.

The strategy can NEVER win a general election.

Current evidence reflects this approach is the preferred direction of Team Ted Cruz and the presidential campaign therein. (more…)

Latest YouGov National Poll Bolsters Trump’s Confidence as Trump’s Strength Protects Cruz…

Candidate Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in almost every poll.  While the media broadcast public polls, the internal polling actually drives the campaign activity.  With that in mind the public polls provide ‘retrospective’ to either support, or undercut, the activity of the campaign itself.

The latest report from YouGov is one of many which highlights why Team Trump is slowly shifting focus toward a more general election race.  Another good summary of indicators is Available HERE:

You might have also noted candidate Donald Trump referencing today’s Reuters polling trend in earlier interviews.  Apparently that’s because the trend shows the number two and number three candidates have peaked, and now are moving back into low double digits.

A review of the poll internals show Donald Trump leading with all religious affiliations. In addition Trump leads all ideologies except “strongly conservative” (far right) which favor Ted Cruz.  Hence, more statistical affirmation of what most already accept:  Donald Trump, like Ronald Reagan, is a center-right candidate.

Representative Trey Gowdy Doesn’t Support or Endorse Senator Ted Cruz….

Every other headline will read: Gowdy supports Rubio, but the reality is more apropos when considering that Gowdy doesn’t support Ted Cruz.

Trey Gowdyrubio

This endorsement “event” should not come as a surprise to long-time readers, simply go back to the 2014 pre-mid-term assignment by Speaker Boehner of Represenative Gowdy as chairperson for the Benghazi committee, read the reams of cautionary discussion, and you’ll find the origin of this latest development.

We shall refrain from the I-told-you-so’s, instead relying more succinctly on the ‘watch what they do, not what they say’ constructs (insert picture of Mark O’Mara here if needed).

Second Tier Candidate Grouping Target Ted Cruz In Iowa…

Many people have discussed the risks of putting all your viable candidacy eggs in the evangelical basket. An article via CNN outlines a group of Super-PACs and donor interests who are now setting Ted Cruz in the cross hairs.

This CNN article highlights one of the biggest challenges for any candidate who is unable to build a broad and diverse base of support. Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee are all relying heavily on Iowa voters. Similarly, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, John Kasich, and again, Marco Rubio (firewall) are dependent on success with New Hampshire voters.

Meanwhile the breakaway frontrunner, Donald Trump, targets America-first voters, the biggest, strongest and most broad base of them all.

Washington (CNN) – Ted Cruz, staring at hundreds of thousands of dollars in negative advertisements against him in Iowa that show only signs of growing, is battling to keep pace there with his most aggressive push yet to maintain his momentum in the Hawkeye State. (more…)

Reports Of Anticipated DHS Deportations A Matter of Law and Enforcement…

A recent article in the Washington Post about “raids to deport illegal alien families” seeks to create a political narrative, perhaps even a Trump-effect as the story line. However, it’s not a matter of Trump – or even federal judge Andrew Hannen – the affect is rule of law.

Image: Barack Obama, Jeh Johnson

[…]  The ICE operation would target only adults and children who have already been ordered removed from the United States by an immigration judge, according to officials familiar with the undertaking, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because planning is ongoing and the operation has not been given final approval by DHS. The adults and children would be detained wherever they can be found and immediately deported. The number targeted is expected to be in the hundreds and possibly greater. (link)

Almost everything following that paragraph above -in the severely slanted Washington Post outline- is factually false, presented entirely with left-wing ideological underpinnings.

Despite the ineptitude and abject stupidity of the current congress, led by amnesty-aligned Republicans, there is a pesky problem for DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson regarding border enforcement and deportation – that pesky problem is actual law needing to be enforced. (more…)

CNN National Poll – Donald Trump Dominates Field With 39%….

When the Frontrunner holds more support than the next three candidates combined you have reached the inevitability threshold !

Everything about this CNN poll (full pdf below), and the internals showing Donald Trump as most favored/best candidate on every issue, is terrific for Team Trump.  This poll, in combination with the Reuters poll, also shows how false the agenda-driven Quinnipiac Poll was earlier in the week.

In addition to absolute dominance by candidate Trump, is the aspect of Jeb Bush dropping to seventh place.  If other national polls affirm a similar position for Bush, he could be dropped from the main-stage debate and replaced by Rand Paul.
