Orange really IS the new black.

A Rasmussen Poll released today shows 50% of the electorate believe Hillary Clinton should continue running for President even if she is under federal indictment.  Perhaps even more stunning is that 71% of Democrats think she should keep running if charged with a felony.

(Rasmussen) Most continue to believe likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is a lawbreaker, but half of all voters also say a felony indictment shouldn’t stop her campaign for the presidency.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 43% of Likely U.S. Voters think Clinton should immediately stop campaigning if she is charged with a felony in connection with her use of a private e-mail server while secretary of State. Fifty percent (50%), however, think she should continue running until a court determines her guilt or innocence. (more…)

Seeing this story repeated in numerous outlets, and with a growing mystery beginning to take hold, allow us to share some insight to help identify the most likely reason.

First the article: 

(Business Insider) Wal-Mart suddenly closed five stores in four states on Monday for alleged plumbing problems.

The closures could last up to six months and affect roughly 2,200 workers in Texas, California, Oklahoma, and Florida, CNN Money reports.

Wal-Mart employees say they were completely blindsided by the news, having been notified only a couple hours before the stores closed at 7 p.m. Monday.

“Everybody just panicked and started crying,” Venanzi Luna, a manager at a store in Pico Rivera, California, told CNN Money. 

All workers will receive paid leave for two months. After that, full-time workers could become eligible for severance, according to CNN Money. But part-time workers will be on their own.  (more…)

Almost nothing needs to be said as the Angus King video speaks for itself.  Senator Angus King supporting the Democrat viewpoint that people don’t know enough about what’s best for them and so then need to be deceived in order for liberal rules to embed.

What does he choose to ask about ?
The Russia v Ukraine crisis?  EU Sanctions and growing fears of NATO nations?  G7 and the fears of another world war?  The collapse of a Japanese trade deal from the previous day ?   The coordination of U.S. search efforts for Missing Malaysian airlines MH-370?   Pan-Asian relations and nuclear agreements?

(Via MediaIte)  CNN legal analyst Paul Callan noted the issue here is whether the shooting was premeditated or if it was a last-minute decision. Lemon took note of all the people pointing out online how angry he’s been over the case, saying, “I know people are saying Don Lemon is pissed on Twitter. Yes, I am pissed! I am absolutely pissed!”

He continued, “I think there needs to be a Mind Your Business law that goes along with the Stand Your Ground law.”  (link)

Milli Vanilli stopped doing live concerts as soon as the audience became aware they were lip-syncing.
Look at his face as President Edsel is being questioned.  Then listen to what Obama actually says in his response.   “I’m not concerned with polling, I don’t pay attention to polling” [… seconds later …]  “When I was a senator I was polling at 70%“.   Think about it.

The moderators here at the Treehouse would like to cover some basic issues with our Treepers, new and old. Hopefully we can clear the air, cut down on confusion, and answer questions and concerns.
First of all, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of you who have struggled through the chaos of the last month with us. We have had growing pains, to say the least. It will get better from here on out, and we thank you for your patience.
The trial is over, and we do not have a Zimmerman/Martin open thread, and have no plans for one. We will continue to cover specific news stories related to the trial and it’s aftermath as they arise. The daily Open Thread has always been a part of the Tree, and we intend to keep it free and clear of Zimmerman/Martin discussion. All are welcome to join us there, with news items that strike your fancy, or to enjoy the wit and humor of our regulars. WeeWeed usually starts us out in the morning with coffee and lots and lots of bacon. Puddy often works third shift and keeps the late night crowd laughing. On Fridays we open the bar (a little earlier every week, I think) and Tilda mans the jukebox, often in cahoots with Tex and cohorts.
