Shepard Smith was supposed to interview Josh Earnest today, but some guy who is still a journalist and looks remarkably like Shep Smith showed up and replaced him.
Watch this, and stay with it…. the last minute is well, pretty awesome.
Smith earned an extra umbrella for his pineapple tonight.
The Ferguson and Saint Louis County Police Departments were smart right from the start. Much of what they did, and did not do, in relationship to investigating the Mike Brown shooting, specifically as it regards releasing information to the media, was intentional.
By holding specific factual evidence close to the vest they obviously frustrated the media. However, in doing so they also insured the integrity of witness evaluation. As a specifically intended outcome their decisions also meant that false witnesses could easily be identified.

As we previously shared the crime scene itself created a witness grid of sorts. Canfield Drive, the street location of the shooting itself, runs essentially East and West. The witnesses most of the public are familiar with are from locations North of Canfield.
We previously explained how this took place HERE.
The more publically known witnesses: Tiffany Mitchell, Piaget Crenshaw, Dorian Johnson (Big Mike co-hort) all had early legal representation brought upon by their relationship to community leaders, and each other, toward selling a specific storyline to the media; we can call this script the “Hands Up” narrative. Um, methinks the days of Little Debbie at the helm of the DNC are short-numbered…. I cannot ever think of a more scathing, and openly sourced article, with direct quotes from the White House, ever written about a high level Democrat.
…”But there was nervousness [2012] about the optics of Obama dropping a woman from the party leadership. Plus, the sense internally was that they had originally picked her largely to help win the women’s vote and avert problems with Jewish donors, and both had indeed happened, whatever the other problems.
[…] The decision to stick with Wasserman Schultz is, according to a person familiar with Obama’s thinking, part of his “benign neglect” of the DNC overall”….
(Via Politico) Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz is in a behind-the-scenes struggle with the White House, congressional Democrats and Washington insiders who have lost confidence in her as both a unifying leader and reliable party spokesperson at a time when they need her most.
Long-simmering doubts about her have reached a peak after two recent public flubs: criticizing the White House’s handling of the border crisis and comparing the tea party to wife beaters. (more…)
The House of Representatives just voted to specifically arm al-Qaeda. Against the alternative of ISIS, al-Qaeda are the “moderates” in Syria; John Boehner just voted to fund and support al-Qaeda. This was easily identified in July 2012.
WASHINGTON DC – The House voted Wednesday to grant President Obama authority to train and arm moderate Syrian rebels waging war against Islamic extremists. “NO ISLAM WITHOUT JIHAD” – members of the Free Syrian Army. Abu Khuder and his men fight for al-Qaida. They call themselves the ghuraba’a, or “strangers”, after a famous jihadi poem celebrating Osama bin Laden’s time with his followers in the Afghan mountains, and they are one of a number of jihadi organisations establishing a foothold in the east of the country now that the conflict in Syria has stretched well into its second bloody year. They try to hide their presence. “Some people are worried about carrying the [black] flags,” said Abu Khuder. “They fear America will come and fight us. So we fight in secret. Why give Bashar and the west a pretext?” But their existence is common knowledge in Mohassen. Even passers-by joke with the men about car bombs and IEDs.Despite vocal opposition from both war-weary liberals and defense hawks who feel the Syria plan should include more robust steps, a bipartisan coalition voted 273-156 to back Obama’s plan to give military aid to vetted members of the Free Syrian Army.
The Syria language was considered as an amendment to a stopgap funding bill to avert a government shutdown on Oct. 1. (read more)
CLEVELAND – An exclusive 5 On Your Side investigation reveals millions of dollars worth of fresh fruits and vegetables are being thrown in the trash in school lunch rooms in Ohio and across the country.
The National School Nutrition Association blames new federal nutrition standards requiring students to take more fresh fruits and vegetables as well as increasing the amount of whole grains.
It’s operated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and spends nearly $12 billion dollars a year and insists more students are eating fresh fruits and vegetables and the program is aimed at making students healthier.
The USDA points to a recent study by the Harvard School of Public Health to support its claim, but the same study also shows that 60 percent of fresh vegetables and 40 percent of fresh fruit are being thrown away. (more…)
The “Daily Caller” is reporting that CNN’s “Crossfire” is being put out of its misery. The revival of the iconic debate show suffering from low ratings and inconsistent airing has been on hiatus since mid-July and is now seeing its staff transferred to a different program. (link)
The progressive view of society is grounded upon diminishing the individual in favor of a collective. Everyone deserves a trophy for participation regardless of their contribution. Nationalism, or pride in differentiation is bad; globalism or pride in the collective is good.
To that end progressives infect popular culture and entertainment with the same diminishment intentions.
Hollywood Inc. is constantly selling the narrative that people -if left alone to their own devices- are inherently sexist, racist, nativist, et al. A modern utopia for the left is a place where everyone looks, acts and sounds the same. A place where asexual beings can reproduce, everyone’s collective rights are inscribed in universal laws; inherent biology or nature is removed, and your value in their ‘freedom’ is defined by your willing symbiosis. WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge ruled Monday that a Florida woman can pursue her lawsuit alleging the government invaded her privacy in the scandal over former CIA director David Petraeus.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson said Jill Kelley of Tampa can move ahead with claims that the FBI and Defense Department violated her privacy when officials leaked information about her to the news media.
The ruling does not deal with the merits of the case, but as the lawsuit proceeds, it could reveal more about the role various government agencies played as the scandal unfolded two years ago.
In 2012, Kelley complained to the FBI when an unknown person sent her harassing emails. Her complaint triggered a criminal investigation that led agents to Paula Broadwell, who was Petraeus’ biographer and had been having an affair with him. (more…)
“Actress” Daniele Watts originally claimed the LA police targeted her because she was black and was kissing her white boyfriend. “Racists”. She later accused the police of targeting her as a prostitute because she was black.
She and her publicist immediately scheduled the customary New York media tour. The goal of the tour was to fulfill the never ending thirst of the national media to promote stories around racism, sexism and the various “ism’s” the professional left loves to tout.
Unfortunately between scheduling the tour and actually appearing on the daily talks, the truth came out.
Apparently Ms. Watts and her boyfriend were having openly visible sex in a business parking lot and witnesses of the business called the police. A rather divergent set of facts from the racist proclamations of Ms. Watts. Frustrated, the media had to drop the narrative. (more…)
What are the odds this mysterious weekend described is the long Thanksgiving weekend of 2012? If Raymond Maxwell is describing “Sunday” of that specific Thanksgiving weekend then a whole lot of other dots connect….
(Via Sharyl Attkisson) As the House Select Committee on Benghazi prepares for its first hearing this week, a former State Department diplomat is coming forward with a startling allegation: Hillary Clinton confidants were part of an operation to “separate” damaging documents before they were turned over to the Accountability Review Board investigating security lapses surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.
According to former Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond Maxwell, the after-hours session took place over a weekend in a basement operations-type center at State Department headquarters in Washington, D.C. This is the first time Maxwell has publicly come forward with the story.
At the time, Maxwell was a leader in the State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, which was charged with collecting emails and documents relevant to the Benghazi probe.
“I was not invited to that after-hours endeavor, but I heard about it and decided to check it out on a Sunday afternoon,” Maxwell says.
He didn’t know it then, but Maxwell would ultimately become one of four State Department officials singled out for discipline—he says scapegoated—then later cleared for devastating security lapses leading up to the attacks. Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were murdered during the Benghazi attacks. (more…)
