Nothing terribly profound to end 2012 or begin 2013 except a nagging feeling sense that so many people we care about just cannot bring themselves to recognize where this all heads. For whatever reason, and I really don’t understand it, it’s like a punch in the gut when you see someone deny, concede, or acquiesce in the comment section.    I find myself of similar perspective to the face in this artwork.

“Denial” plays a key role in the life of a victim, and those who allow themselves the comfort of non-control within victimhood.  I’ll never be comfortable as a victim, regardless how much people demand. (more…)

Understand where this is going….. This is Step One…..   If criminal background checks adversely impact blacks or males (race, gender – protected categories) during the employment eligibility process, then it becomes illegal to conduct background checks.    This “disparate impact” test is the same test applied to the concept of school discipline previously outlined.

But first I want to remind you of a specific date:  January 20th 2010.

That was the day AFTER Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown won his historic election and turned the “Kennedy Seat” back to the “Peoples Seat”……..

Everyone, and I do mean “everyone”, proclaimed victory in killing Obamacare, there was no way President Obama was going to get it passed now because Brown represented the proverbial 41st Senate vote against it, reducing the Senate support to 59 one less than Harry Reid needed.

Oh, how joyful, and insufferably naive the Constitutional Conservative, Tea Party, Republican movement was.   As a lone voice, we shouted out then the opinion that it did not matter, Obamacare would get through ‘By.Any.Means.Neccessary’, because we know these people and how they operate, and it did.   On January 20th our little voice was an infinitesimal minority – Everyone thought victory over Obama was at hand. No, this is not a spoof.   Facing desperate financial struggles, a pending fiscal cliff, the first ever Bond Rating downgrade – which might soon become the first of two – no federal budget for the past four years, dead ambassadors in Benghazi, the middle-east in flames, North Korea launching ICBM missiles, and an innocent Marine sitting in prison in Mexico because the Mexicans are pissed at Obama for illegally and intentionally sending guns to arm their drug lords…but this is a priority?   Since when did the role of government become to control ethnic diversity in chosen professions…think about it.
