Mark NeJame – Legal counsel to Alan Grayson, friend of Mark O’Mara, Senior CNN legal analyst and the person who recommended Mark O’Mara to George Zimmerman in order to secure a CNN contract.  NeJame is a also a close personal friend of Pigford Attorney Greg Francis, and socially friendly with Natalie Jackson and  Ryan Julison. 

(Orlando Sentinel – Jeff Weiner) The behind-the-scenes turbulence of U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson‘s family life continued to spill into public view Wednesday as his attorneys worked to combat his wife’s recently revealed domestic-violence allegations.

The congressman’s lawyers revealed video of the domestic incident that played out at the Grayson home Saturday, which they said proved that Lolita Grayson committed an attack, not her husband.

“He was hoping that this matter would stay in the courts and outside of the press, but since horrendous accusations have been made against him … he believes that the truth must come out,” Grayson’s attorney Mark NeJame told reporters during a news conference in downtown Orlando.

TEXAS – Texas politicians are recoiling after a prominent Lubbock Democrat accused Republican candidate for governor Greg Abbott of “piñata politics” in a bigoted tirade and allegedly disparaged Abbott’s Latina wife.

“Greg Abbott came into our house uninvited, wanting to somehow give the illusion that the Lubbock County Hispanic community is supportive,” Lubbock city councilman Victor Hernandez said after Abbott visited the West Texas town and held a campaign rally at a Mexican restaurant. “If you want to come into my house, the first thing you have to do is to see me — see me as a person, see me as a human being, see me as a fellow Texan.” (more…)

United Kingdom – A 13-year-old public school boy from Preston, England has become the youngest person ever to successfully carry out atomic fusion.   Jamie Edwards built a nuclear reactor before successfully smashing two hydrogen atoms together, making helium through nuclear fusion.

Notice how he erected a chicken wire faraday cage around his classroom experiment to avoid external magnetic interference.    He built his nuclear reactor in his garage at home, then took it to school and successfully smashed two hydrogen atoms together (fused) to make helium.

Rachel Canning is an 18-year-old High School senior now suing her parents for kicking her out of the house.    She is seeking financial “child support”, payment for final year tuition of private High School, and payment for all college tuition expenses she will incur.

While the case might seem extreme, it highlights a very specific consequence of helicopter parenting, spoiling children, choosing to be more of a “friend” than a parent, and a complete lack of teaching fundamental responsibilities in the age of post millenials. 

To quote her father, Sean Canning:

“I’m a liberal, liberal parent,” he said. “I wish I could have grown up in my house. I was tougher on my cops at work than I’ve ever been at my home, that’s for sure.”  (link)

Today a New Jersey Judge denied the initial request however another hearing is scheduled for next month where Rachel could win the lawsuit against her parents.   Essentially her argument is “they created my ideology and dependency – ergo they are now responsible to fulfill their obligations to me which arrive as a consequence of my upbringing”.

Believe it or not, it’s quite possible young Ms. Rachel Canning will win this lawsuit.   While it sounds incredulous on its face – her argument is fundamentally solid from the progressive point of view.    Her parents created her extreme dependency – just because they no longer wish to accept the consequences of their earlier decisions, does not mean they can just cast her aside.   They created this monster. Traditionally, the U.S. military has always enjoyed high approval ratings from the American public at large – they support the military in funding; in its non-combat humanitarian missions as diplomatic outreach (such as the US Navy Hospital Ships, USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy); and are, for the most part, proud of the work that the US military does in defending freedom and the highest ideals of “America” –

individual liberty, peace, free trade, domestic stability among the many hallmarks of the “shining city on the hill”.  In very few other countries, do so many citizens have direct experience – having served, themselves – or a first degree relative connection to someone who has served in the armed forces. Doug Ross @ Journal has published a first hand account of a conversation a docent at the Bush Center Library had with former Senator Alan Simpson (R), co-author of the Simpson-Bowles commission report recommending fiscal reform legislation, on the outspoken former Senator’s impressions based on first-hand dealings with Barack Hussein Obama.

“….I spent the next 15 minutes (just the two of us) listening to him expound on his view of our future. His first answer was that with this president we will never make progress. He then related a story that when Bowles and Simpson requested time with the president to urge him to seriously consider their report, he was stunned by the response (as was Bowles).

“Words”.  Just “words”.  Days after Spike Lee’s vituperative rant, in which he mentioned his musician father and the address of the home in Ft Greene, Brooklyn where he grew up, his father’s home and the home of a next door neighbor were vandalized with spray painted graffiti and had windows broken.

The graffiti stated:  “Do the Right Thing” – an apparent reference to a Spike Lee movie of the same name…. in which the climatic scene revolved around violence related to an argument about music ….

Spike Lee may enjoy inserting himself into controversy to keep himself relevant in the ever shifting sands of pop culture, but even his own family has had enough:

“And I think Spike needs to stop with whatever situation he was talking about over here ’cause he doesn’t live here and he’s not involved in it, you know,” half brother Arnold Lee told CBS 2′s Jessica Schneider.

Lee has spent the last few days apologizing to neighbors, and trying to mend relations between the neighbors and his family.  Owners of the vandalized property state to repair the damage and remove the graffiti will cost “thousands” of dollars.  No word if Lee has manned up and offered restitution, errr…. “reparations” ? for the backlash from his incendiary rhetoric.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the insufferable racist hypocrisy embedded within the ideology of  Democrats.   Imagine if Clint Eastwood demanded black people not be allowed to move in to white neighborhoods ?   C’mon media, progs, et al… baby steps…  Can you see the racism?… can you?…. step toward the light… it won’t hurt… honest. 

FORT GREENE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) — Spike Lee had some harsh words for whites moving into predominantly black neighborhoods in New York City while speaking at a Black History Month lecture at Pratt Institute on Tuesday.

As 1010 WINS’ Carol D’Auria reported Wednesday, the director and Brooklyn native said that white newcomers to neighborhoods like Fort Greene and Bedford-Stuyvesant are doing the wrong things.

Lee told the audience that while he’s all for democracy, he doesn’t like that whites are trying to impose their standards and wealthy ideas on everyone and everything, D’Auria reported. (more…)

As first reported by the Army Times, a US Army Pfc (Private, First Class) posted an Instagram “selfie” (“sheffeynation”) of herself hiding in her car during the sounding of “Retreat” to avoid standing at attention, saluting and rendering honors to the American flag as the colors are lowered for the day.

That statement should strike the independent psyche as odd.   Alas, it does not…. why? Because the filtering prism witnessed (as applied) is only based on one thing, the perception of importance.

Why would skin color even factor in to whether or not the policy/ideology is wrong, unless you think the skin color is a defining factor in your view toward the policy/ideology.

Like most within the professionally aggrieved class, Lemon is stating he’s black first and a journalist second.  He has to overcome his inherent sense of race, to carry out his responsibility of a journalist.   Such is the reality of something that rings true in all progressives; ideological bias trumps all else when expressed.

In Don Lemon’s case it’s his race and skin color because this is what he views as central to his own psychological definitions. Black is his foundational principle.

For non-black media types the foundational principle, which overlay their decisions, is their liberal sense of world-view.
