(Newsbusters)  According to the liberal network journalists, being part of a Democratic family makes you “royalty.” Reporters on ABC, CBS and NBC gushed over the announcement that Chelsea Clinton is pregnant. Good Morning America’s Bianna Golodryga enthused:

“Move over, Prince George, though. This morning, Americans have their own royal, or, rather, presidential baby, to look forward to.”

(Via Moonbattery) For the liberal agenda to succeed, individual conscience must be eliminated, so that only the State and its affiliates determine what is right and wrong. That won’t happen so long as Christianity exists in a meaningful form.
Unfortunately for our liberal rulers, they do not yet have the political leverage to repeal the First Amendment, which explicitly prohibits restrictions on the free exercise of religion.
No worries; they simply twist the establishment clause of this same amendment to mean there can be no Christianity where there is government. In a country where government has bloated to the point of crowding out almost everything that is not coercion-based, that is virtually the same as a ban.
For example, colleges are heavily subsidized by the government; therefore, Christianity can be purged from college football teams. (more…)

REMEMBER THE BIGGER BROTHER? – If we had unlimited resources I would love to put a research team together to research all of the information data-mining that’s currently going on.   After some research on my own I was astounded to read the “business models” of quasi-private businesses who are currently engaged in analysis for the legality of various information sharing concepts with governmental agencies.
It looks like THIS
APLR collections and various registration/information hubs are evolving rapidly and there is no currently proposed legislation to allow people to “opt out”.   I’m not even sure if there ever will be a technological way to opt out.
WASHINGTON DC – As if many Americans needed another reason to dislike the post office, word now comes that it wants to begin mining and selling private data gathered from the personal mail of Americans.
USPS chief marketing and sales officer Nagisa Manabe recently told the PostalVision 2020 conference that the post office is “actively looking for ways to build new business lines around what not long ago might have been considered science fiction.”

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Two Long Island high school students have been suspended for allegedly bringing a Confederate flag to school.
Brother Gary Cregan, principal of St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, said the two seniors walked in with a Confederate flag draped around their shoulders during an after-hours sporting event at the school.
As CBS 2′s Kathryn Brown reported, there is outrage and disgust on Long Island.

“The African-American students who immediately saw it really exercised heroic restraint and fortunately a teacher immediately confiscated the flag and took the students out of the gym,” Cregan said.

You might remember the murder of Australian college baseball player and exchange student Chris Lane last year in Oklahoma.
A normally quiet weekend in the small southwestern Oklahoma town of Duncan was horribly interrupted last year, when a car carrying three teenagers pulled up behind a lone white male jogger.  The teens in the car fired on the jogger, Chris Lane, with a .22 caliber revolver, striking him in the back.  As horrified witnesses looked on, the jogger staggered and dropped to his knees as the car sped away.  He was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.
James Francis Edwards Jr., 15, and Chancey Allen Luna, 16, were charged with murder in the first degree.  The oldest member of the group, 17 year old Michael Jones, believed to be the driver of the vehicle, gave Duncan police a mind-boggling explanation for the crime: “We were bored and didn’t have anything to do, so we decided to kill somebody.“

RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) — Senate majority leader Harry Reid hasn’t been very vocal about the cattle battle showdown in recent days, but says “it’s not over.”
Reid tells News4′s Samantha Boatman his take on the so-called cattle battle in southern Las Vegas. “Well, it’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over,” Reid said.

Attorney General Eric Holder said he was careful not to allude to a racial component when criticizing Congress’s treatment of him last week.

Eric Holder thinks people who accept his statement with the intent and context are stupid, or gullible, or both.   He is now claiming his race speech to Sharpton’s audience, was not about race.    The intellectual dishonesty is mind boggling.

WASHINGTON DC – “I didn’t say there was a racial component. I was very careful not to say that,” Holder told The Huffington Post on Monday.
Last week, Holder told a civil rights group he and President Obama’s administration have been subject to “unprecedented” and “ugly” attacks. He asked what attorney general or president in history had to deal with the same.
Instead of race, Holder said he was alluding to the “breakdown in civility” and the ability to cultivate relationships in Washington. (more…)

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) – Three people were shot and killed Sunday afternoon in suburban Kansas City, and a spokeswoman for a local hospital said a 15-year-old boy is in critical condition.

Convicted of criminal charges related to weapons and violation of an injunction against paramilitary activity, he is a perennial candidate[1] for public office as both a Democrat and Republican. Overland Park city spokesman Sean Reilly says two people died at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City campus and one was killed at Village Shalom, which is a retirement community that is several blocks away from the center.
Overland Park Fire Department spokesman Jason Rhodes said Sunday afternoon that one person of interest is in custody. (more…)
