AG Eric Holder spoke before the National Press Club today and stated the civil rights investigation into the shooting of Mike Brown and the larger issues with Ferguson Police Department will be completed prior to his leaving office.
However, no mention of the insufferable FBI investigation for George Zimmerman that has been dragging on for years. Apparently Holder is planning to allow the threat of FBI investigation to follow Zimmerman as the Attorney General seeks to clear his desk of the other highly visible cases.
Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch is anticipated to be confirmed in the next few weeks unless more GOP Senators raise objections which, at this point seems unlikely. Eric Holder said he is “confident” that decisions on both Brown and Ferguson will be ready and announced before Lynch is confirmed by the Senate. (more…)
Most of the media seem to be avoiding another example of an Islam-based attack in Detroit Michigan. According to local police and media reports a self identified Muslim, named Terrence Lavaron Thomas, walked up to some “random folks” at a bus station outside of Detroit and asked “are you Muslim”?
When the two people said they were not, Thomas took out a knife and attacked. According to the Washington Post he stabbed two people, both in their 50’s. One person was stabbed five times, the other was stabbed in the hand trying to protect the first victim.
Both victims were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries where they were treated and released. The case was then shared with federal law enforcement who are evaluating the attack as a potential religion based hate crime.

…. Nothing to see here “random folks”, move along…. move along.
It must be noted at the beginning of this discussion to remind readers of what is not stated, along with what is.

Back in November of 2014 President Obama announced his intention to “fix a broken immigration system” with his pen. The basic outline was sold by the White House as a pending “executive order”. However when the immediate debate erupted around presidential authority in that regard most readers will note that an “executive order” was never actually issued. Instead, after delivering his nationally televised speech, Obama directed Jeh Johnson to modify his DHS immigration enforcement approach with what was/is now called an “executive action“.
The difference between what Obama promised to the illegal alien community via an “executive order”, and what was delivered days later via an “executive action” reflects a key legal distinction affirming the reality that an “executive order” -to intentionally subvert legislative authority- would have been unconstitutional.
The White House Office of Legal Counsel knew and advised Obama from the outset an executive order was impossible. This aspect Obama himself admitted numerous times over the preceding two years to Latino audiences. (more…)
Piers Morgan pens a back-handed attack piece today regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s open call for Jews in Europe to return to the safety of Israel.
In essence Morgan is saying Netanyahu is fear mongering amid the European Jewish population to firm up his domestic electability.
From the Article:
Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, says his country is in imminent danger of being nuked off the face of the earth by Iran.
But he wants every Jew to flee terror attacks in the rest of the world…and come to live in Israel?
Makes perfect sense, right?
Well, no, obviously it doesn’t. Netanyahu’s reaction to the latest appalling terror attacks in Denmark, which echoed sentiments he expressed after the Charlie Hebdo outrage in Paris, is a disgrace: cowardly, self-serving, crassly insensitive and overtly political. (more)
Piers goes on to proclaim that victims of ISIS and Islamic Extremists are not just Jews, but cartoonists, Muslims, and seemingly -in Obama-like fashion- other “random folk”. Disingenuous in the extreme all the way to willful blindness. (more…)
I’m sure there will be more from Egypt’s Fattah al-Sisi in the next few days, he is not a person prone to knee-jerk emotional responses to crisis. Research into al-Sisi, and following him for several years, shows he thinks carefully, calls for counsel, takes immediate advice and then makes a strong decision and sticks with it.
That said, as you read this I must point out something in this Reuters example which highlights the bias inherent in Western media that slips past unless you have followed the nuances and details of any event/story. Check out this statement:
[…] “The beheadings could stiffen Sisi’s resolve in dealing with security threats from militants thriving in neighboring Libya’s chaos who want to topple his U.S.-backed government“.
“U.S. backed government“, who does Reuters think they’re kidding?
The Obama administration openly disparages al-Sisi, talks negatively about him, spoke angrily against the removal of Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi and didn’t even call Sisi to congratulate him on his overwhelming election victory. But Reuters says “U.S. backed”, because NOW it fits the narrative a strong Obama needs, unreal. I digress. (more…)
This happened last night and both police and media are downplaying the story as “kids and teens just being kids”; as would be expected in the new normal reality. Another report shares “just a bunch of stupid kids”. [Two reports, one with video] – Obviously all media ignoring the racial aspect of the thugs gone wild.
REPORT #1 – OCOEE, Fla. — Orange County deputies are trying to figure out why hundreds of teenagers suddenly rushed into the movie theater at West Oaks Mall in Ocoee Saturday night. Deputies said as many as 900 kids, described as being in middle or high school, attempted to rush the theater at once.

“My anxiety hit the roof. I was like, ‘How do we get out?’” said moviegoer Jessica Weckerly.
Nearly 300 teenagers were able to get in before the security gates were closed. Police said a group of about 100 rushed into the theater and continued causing a disturbance. (more…)
Something about the investigation and reports so far is not adding up. The named suspect does not fit the physical description (picture) released yesterday of a “suspect of interest”…. and notice how quick the media is to use the term “lone wolf”… Hmmm?
(Via Daily Mail) This is the first picture of the terror suspect believed to have killed a film director and Jewish security guard in two attacks in Copenhagen.
Danish-born Omar Abdel Hamid El-Hussein, 22, was killed after opening fire on officers who had closed down the area surrounding Norrebro metro station at about 5am today.
The man – whom police said is known to them due to past violence, gang-related activities and and possession of weapons – is thought to have killed two people in separate attacks at a free speech event and a synagogue.
Film director Finn Noergaard, 55, was killed yesterday at a cafe. Hours later, 37-year-old security employee Dan Uzan was shot in the head as he stood outside a building belonging to the city’s Great Synagogue.
This afternoon two people were led out of an internet cafe in handcuffs as part of the probe. (more…)
Within hours of the attacks, and while Denmark police are still trying to sort through the various shooting scenes in Copenhagen; and while suspects have not yet been identified – the New York Times jumps in to deflect attention: “Anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment is rising in Europe”…
It only took the Times four paragraphs to turn the still evolving story from an Islamist gunman targeting Jews and Cartoonists, to an apologetic spin on Muslims as victims of publicity.
LONDON — Two attacks shook Copenhagen, with a gunman spraying bullets into a cafe where a Swedish cartoonist who had caricatured the Prophet Mohammad was speaking, followed hours later by a shooting outside the city’s main synagogue early Sunday morning.
One man was killed in the cafe attack on Saturday and three police officers were wounded; a man was shot in the head in the second attack and later died, and two officers were wounded, Danish television reported. It was not clear if the attacks were linked, but in each case the gunman escaped, raising fears throughout the capital.
Police swarmed into the city center, evacuating a train station, setting up roadblocks and warning people to remain indoors. Police later said they had shot and killed a man near Norrebro station who had shot at them first, according to TV2, a Danish station.
The latest violence comes as Europe is increasingly on edge over the January assaults on a French satirical newspaper and a kosher supermarket in Paris, the worst spasm of terrorism in France in decades. Anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim sentiment is rising in Europe, and although there was no indication who was responsible for the shootings in Copenhagen, Twitter was ablaze with anti-Muslim indictments.

Expect more of this, it is a typical strategy of both CAIR and the BGI…. They are simply feeding a media narrative which supports the false filings.
(Via Daily Caller) A Muslim student at the University of Texas, Arlington admitted she lied when she claimed that a man followed her to school on Wednesday and threatened her with a gun.
The student posted the claim on Facebook and made reference to Tuesday’s triple murder of three Muslim students in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Numerous Muslim groups are alleging that that shooting was a hate crime.
The UTA student claimed that at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday a white man driving a white pickup truck with a Texas flag on the antenna followed her for six miles to campus.
After arriving at the school, the student said that the man, who she claimed was wearing a camouflage baseball cap, got out of his truck, threatened her verbally, and then pointed a handgun at her. (read more)
ANOTHER – “bunch of random folks in a cafe’ in Copenhagen”
[…]“The cafe in northern Copenhagen, known for its jazz concerts, was hosting an event titled “Art, blasphemy and the freedom of expression” when the shots were fired. Niels Ivar Larsen, one of the speakers at the event, told TV2 that at least two people were wounded. (link)

DENMARK – One person is reportedly dead and others are injured after a shooting at a meeting on free speech where a controversial Danish cartoonist was speaking.
Danish media reported a cafe in Copenhagen was peppered with around 30 bullet holes in the shooting. (more…)
