Now the question becomes… if the board appointments were illegal, then what happens to all those NLRB rules -2 years worth- that have been instituted since the Labor Board Members were unconstitutionally appointed.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court has limited a president’s power to make temporary appointments to fill high-level government jobs.
The court said Thursday that President Barack Obama exceeded his authority when he invoked the Constitution’s provision on recess appointments to fill slots on the National Labor Relations Board in 2012.
The justices said in their first-ever consideration of the Constitution’s recess appointments clause that Congress gets to decide when it is in recess and that there was no recess when Obama acted. As with all complex stories the valuable discoveries come with time.

We now have a pretty good understanding of who, what, where, and why surrounding the 9/11/12 attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi Libya. We are also better positioned to understand why, or perhaps more importantly why not, certain actions were taken before, during, and in the immediate aftermath of the attack itself.

We know from the Bret Baier interview with Hillary Clinton that she was physically located at her 7th floor office in Washington DC on the night of the attack. Unfortunately we also know during the November 2012 Thanksgiving holiday a mysterious fire took place in that building. Well, actually directly above her exact office – cause undetermined.
A “fire” which preceded an unfortunate slip and fall for the Secretary, resulting in a concussion, which led to the discovery of a blood clot, that ultimately delayed her congressional testimony before a Senate Hearing into the events of the night in question.
We know the Libyan uprising began on February 10th of 2011, and we also know that sometime around the end of February 2011 President Obama signed a presidential directive authorizing the State Dept and CIA to begin a covert operation to arm the Libyan “rebels”.
We know the “rebels” were positioned in two strategic places. Benghazi, and the port city of Darnah, both located in Eastern Libya.
We know this covert operation came to be known as “Operation Zero Footprint“, and fell under the military command authority of NATO not (important to repeat), NOT, the U.S. Military. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – The top U.S. official in charge of archiving federal records testified Tuesday that the IRS ran afoul of the law by neglecting to tell his office that a trove of emails from the woman at the center of the targeting scandal disappeared after an apparent hard drive crash.

Archivist of the U.S. David Ferriero, speaking before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, made clear that federal agencies are supposed to report whenever their records are destroyed or even accidentally deleted. But he said that after emails from embattled IRS official Lois Lerner vanished after a computer failure in 2011, nobody told the National Archives.
“They did not follow the law,” Ferriero said.  (read more)

Operation “A Day In The Life” is a plan to make you believe President Obama is just like you, and cares about you…

We’re not sure which White House Millennial came up with this idea – but odds are they were wearing black framed glasses.    Whoever developed this strategy more than likely lunches with the creator of “Pajama Boy” during the day, and plays beer pong with Tommy “dude”  Vietor at night.

Taking cues from the success of TV show “Undercover Boss”, apparently someone in the White House believes they can transfer the concept to President Obama – and capture for the administration the generally warm sentiment the TV show’s message attempts to leave with its followers.  

WASHINGTON DC – Apparently because he doesn’t get out of the White House enough (?) — or have enough to do? — President Obama will travel to Minnesota on Thursday to “spend a day with Rebekah,” described by the White House as a “hardworking mom from Minneapolis,” who wrote to the president to tell him “how much harder it’s become to get ahead and do right by her family.”
When the president receives letters like Rebekah’s, he “makes notes in the margins, and sits down to reply personally,” the White House said.
This time, he’s made plans to meet with Rebekah — on Thursday — to “spend a day in her shoes.”
In fact, this is the first in a series of “day-in-the-life” visits that President Obama plans to make across the country this summer. (more…)

The White House crew (McDonough, Blinkin, Rhodes, et al) know the toxic political danger of the current illegal immigration influx.   Despite the democrat narrative they know the majority of Americans are against this abject collapse of border control. 
Despite his own promotional advocacy which has led to the crisis, Obama has to deliver appearances of being on the right side of the people.   If the progressive ideology was allowed full sunlight Obama would find his administration in a larger position of impotency, and Democrats would suffer even greater losses in the upcoming election.
(WASHINGTON DC) – President Obama told his Mexican counterpart in a phone call Thursday that immigrants crossing into the U.S. illegally won’t qualify for legalized status or deferred deportation, including children.
The White House said Mr. Obama and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto discussed “a regional strategy” to address the surge of unaccompanied children coming from Central America, through Mexico, to the U.S.
With thousands of children trying to enter the U.S. illegally in recent months, Vice President Joseph R. Biden will visit Guatemala on Friday.
Mr. Biden will warn officials and parents that illegal immigration is dangerous and that youth won’t be allowed to stay in the U.S. (more…)

(Via Sharyl Attkisson) Today, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, (R-Calif.) requested that Jennifer O’Connor of the White House Counsel’s office testify next week.
In a letter, Issa requested O’Connor’s appearance at a hearing on Tuesday at 9:30a, a day after IRS Commissioner John Koskinen is scheduled to testify. The Tuesday hearing is entitled, “IRS Obstruction: Lois Lerner’s Missing E-Mails, Part II.”

On January 29th of this year, the federal government posted an advertisement seeking bids for a vendor contract to handle “Unaccompanied Alien Children“.
Not just any contract mind you, but a very specific contract – for a very specific number of unaccompanied minors: 65,000.

•  Why would DHS and ICE be claiming “surprise” by the current influx of unaccompanied minors on the border in June, when they were taking bids for an exact contract to handle the exact situation in January?
• Secondly, how could they possibly know anticipate 65,000 unaccompanied minors would be showing up at the border, when the most ever encountered in a previous year was 5,000 total ?

I saw this picture earlier of Corporal William ‘Kyle’ Carpenter receiving the Congressional Medal of Honor from President Obama.    The opposing values of “self” exemplified within the picture struck me with such force, the only thing I could do was pray.

HEAVENLY FATHER, with a humble heart and a thankful spirit we approach You in prayer.

We thank You for our country, our Constitution, and our military and political leaders.

We pray for the President, and for every elected and appointed official who serves.

We pray that You will build a spiritual wall of protection around the marriage and family of every national, state, and local minister.

We pray that You will give them the wisdom and the courage to uphold a Constitution which establishes a republic based on Your absolute laws, not a democracy based on the changing whims of man’s reasoning.

(Via Washington Free Beacon) NBC’s Chuck Todd described the latest WSJ/NBC poll as a “disaster for the president” and argued that the American public is essentially saying Obama’s “presidency is over.”
This poll is a disaster for the president,” Todd said. “You look at the presidency here: lowest job rating, tied for the lowest; lowest on foreign policy. His administration is seen as less competent than the Bush administration, post-Katrina.”

“On the issue of do you believe he can still lead? A majority believe no. Essentially the public is saying your presidency is over,” Todd added. (more)

WASHINGTON, June 16 (Reuters) – President Barack Obama told Congress on Monday the United States was deploying up to 275 military personnel to provide support and security for U.S. personnel and the country’s embassy in Baghdad after militants seized control of the north of the country.

“This force is deploying for the purpose of protecting U.S. citizens and property, if necessary, and is equipped for combat,” Obama said in a letter to lawmakers. “This force will remain in Iraq until the security situation becomes such that it is no longer needed.”   The president said he was notifying Congress under the War Powers Resolution (read more)
