Costco has ordered the removal of Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “America: Imagine A World Without Her” from its bookshelves nationwide as reported the Washington Times.
The owners of Costco have donated heavily to Obama and the Democrats but if they think banning it will harm the sales of the book (and the documentary movie of the same title) they are seriously in error. A Washington Post political reporter has noted Obama’s “romance” with the nation’s second-largest retailer. According to that Washington Post reporter, Costco has contributed $100,000 to Obama and another $100,000 to Priorities USA, the pro-Obama super PAC. In addition, Susan Brotman, wife of Costco co-founder Jeff Brotman was an Obama campaign bundler in 2012 who collected over $500,000 in donations. (more…)
A “billion” is a thousand millions. President Obama asking for $3.8 Billion to finance his ongoing efforts at collecting, supporting and housing his Central American “refugees”, ie. illegal aliens. Yes, not only does he actively support them, but he also wants YOU to pay to support them. And like the blind idiots they are, congress will give Obama your payroll taxes. We can’t afford the social welfare programs we currently have (we are forced to borrow .40¢ on every dollar), and yet we’re going to throw an even larger number of fully dependent non-productive illegal aliens into the broken melting pot. WASHINGTON DC – The White House on Tuesday will request $3.8 billion from Congress in emergency funding to deal with an influx of unaccompanied minors from Central America, a far higher amount than the Obama administration had previously signaled, according to a Capitol Hill source familiar with the plans.
The money would go to several federal agencies, including the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, State and Health and Human Services. Funds would be allocated to send more immigration judges to the southern border, build additional detention facilities and add border patrol agents, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the administration had not formally made the request. UPDATE: Buses Not headed to Murrieta: Murrieta Patriots standing their ground MURRIETA — Demonstrators opposed to illegal immigration stood their ground again at the Murrieta Border Patrol station on Monday, where U.S. Border Patrol had been scheduled to transfer a third round of buses, with approximately 140 illegal aliens aboard in total, transferred from overcrowded Texas detention facilities.
For a third time, the buses were rerouted to the San Ysidro, California Border Patrol station, near the U.S.-Mexico border, for processing. The demonstrators gathered in areas to the north and south of the Murrieta station after law enforcement blocked off the road near the station itself. Many told Breitbart News they considered their stand a success, since buses scheduled for Murrieta are avoiding it as long as demonstrators remain. ( read more) (more…)
Todd Starnes – TEXAS – Are the thousands of illegal immigrant kids housed in detention facilities happy and well fed — or are they living in disease-infested compounds shrouded in secrecy?
Well, it depends on who you ask.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) seems to think the children coming across the southern border are remarkably healthy. It’s a sentiment shared by BCFS — the Texas-based agency formerly known as Baptist Child & Family Services contracted to run camps at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio and Fort Sill in Oklahoma.
My source said there are children showing classic tuberculosis symptoms — spitting up blood, a constant cough and chest pain.
More than 7,000 children have been processed through the two camps, according to a BCFS official. They allege that only 119 children have been treated for lice, 22 for scabies, and one for the H1N1 Flu. BCFS says the most common illnesses seen at Lackland are fever, headache, upper respiratory cold and ingrown toenails.
However, at least a half dozen anonymous sources, including nurses and health care providers who worked at Lackland, allege that the government is covering up what they believe to be a very serious health threat. (more…)

This entire media mantra around the illegal crossing of our border is getting on my last nerve. Will someone please just call it like it is.
“We do that which is important to us”
President Obama has intentionally created this crisis to give leverage to his goals of changing the landscape of American social construct. This administration is pushing for amnesty for illegal aliens, and consequentially the collapse their political opposition. To reach that goal the current U.S. administration is intentionally asking illegal aliens to swarm our nations borders – and supporting them toward that end.
If President Obama wanted to stop the crisis, he could order it stopped in less than 48 hours. He doesn’t.
Almost every single media outlet is opining the same talking points, “the immigration system is broken“. Not true, we don’t have a broken immigration system, we have a broken enforcement system.
There is a legal process for immigration entry consideration into the United States. It’s not new, and it’s not broken – IT’S JUST NOT BEING USED; and worse, the unlawful cross border entry is not being stopped.
The only broken part of immigration is the “border security”….
……It’s the border enforcement that’s broken.
Anyone ever heard of “Green Cards”, or “Alien Registration Cards”, or “residency visa’s”? These legal processes for immigration entry are currently in place and have been for decades. That system is not broken – it works well.
The problem is that illegal aliens don’t use the lawful application system – But that doesn’t mean the system is “broken”; it means the unlawful person chooses not to follow it.
Liberals love to use talking points to create a narrative of crisis they can then proclaim needs to be fixed. And just about every time they enlist the Prava-esque media in the construct the professional conservative political class fall for it. (more…)

Federal prosecutors said Ahmed Abu Khattala needed to be detained because of his extremist connections and his expressed desire to harm U.S. citizens.
“Given the defendant’s proclivity for violence as well as his ability to readily communicate with other similar-minded individuals, as demonstrated by his status as a commander of an extremist brigade, his detention is the only means available to neutralize that threat,” prosecutors said in a court filing late Tuesday. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of DHS contracted busses are right now on the road heading to various communities where the DHS contracted agents have been told to just drop them off at the bus depot and leave.
LAREDO, Texas–A glimpse into the reality of the thousands of illegal immigrants being released into the U.S. by the Obama Administration was captured on video in a Greyhound Bus station in Laredo, Texas this weekend.
The illegal immigrants who cross as incomplete family units simply enter the U.S. illegally, turn themselves in to U.S. Border Patrol agents, are processed, and then are released with a notice to appear at a future date for court proceedings.
U.S. taxpayers then fund bus tickets for the illegal immigrants to go to the U.S. city of their choosing. Approximately 95 percent of the illegal immigrants never return as promised for court proceedings, according to Hector Garza, a Border Patrol agent and spokesperson for the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) Local 2455.
