Same sex marriage supporters are confindent the federal law defining marriage between a man and a woman will be struck down, (DOMA).   It appears the general sense is that each state will define their own marriage laws and recognition thereof….  Which opens up another whole set of issues regarding “reciprocity”. 

GAY MARRIAGE – Midway through a National Organization protest in front of the US Supreme Court building, punches flew. One, which landed on the face of a marcher, was thrown by gay marriage advocate Sergei Kostin, a former Occupy DC member whom a source in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department described as a ‘professional activist.’

The other was a gut-punch that Kostin told MailOnline provoked him – one that no one else saw. If that punch flew, one observer countered, however, it’s not clear how hard it could have been. (more…)

Cairo: Egypt’s prosecutor general on Monday ordered the arrest of five prominent political activists accused of inciting violence against President Mohamed Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood, a step the opposition decried as a reversal for democracy.

The move seemed certain to deepen mistrust in an already polarised political landscape, further complicating Mursi’s efforts to build bridges with his opponents before parliamentary polls the opposition has threatened to boycott.

Those ordered arrested included Ahmed Douma and Alaa Abd El-Fattah, a leading blogger who became a symbol of the uprising that overthrew President Hosni Mubarak in 2011. Also ordered arrested were Karim al-Shaer, Hazem Abdel Azeem and Ahmed al-Sahafi. (more…)

EGYPT – Islamic hard-liners stormed a mosque in suburban Cairo, turning it into torture chamber for Christians who had been demonstrating against the ruling Muslim Brotherhood in the latest case of violent persecution that experts fear will only get worse.

Such stories have become increasingly common as tensions between Egypt’s Muslims and Copts mount, but in the latest case, mosque officials corroborated much of the account and even filed a police report. Demonstrators say they were taken from the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in suburban Cairo to a nearby mosque on Friday and tortured for hours by hard-line militia members.

“They accompanied me to one of the mosques in the area and I discovered the mosque was being used to imprison demonstrators and torture them,” Amir Ayad, a Coptic who has been a vocal protester against the regime, told MidEast Christian News from a hospital bed. (more…)

Indeed, it has been a challenge to discover the “intents” of many people following this case – because, as you are probably aware, many of the Scheme Team players embedded into the Treehouse commenting community. The author of this Telegraph article erroneously calls President Obama’s Arafat speech a mistake and an untentional gaffe.    No.   This was not a mistake – the President delivered his speech exactly where he wanted to, with the exact optic he wanted to express.

(UK Telegraph)  It is simply astonishing that the leader of the free world would agree to speak against a backdrop of a murderous terrorist with American and Israeli blood on his hands. What kind of message does this send to America’s enemies when the president of the United States gives a press conference standing in front of a banner celebrating one of the most brutal terrorists in history? It projects a clear signal that Washington is weak in the face of terrorism, and it is an insult to the memory of those who died at the hands of Arafat’s terror network.

While the Obama White House prides itself on having an extremely slick campaign operation, its ineptness and insensitivity in government, not least on the world stage, can be staggering. President Obama, for example, could not even pronounce the name of Burmese freedom fighter Aung San Suu Kyi on his recent visit to Rangoon, referring to her several times as Aung YAN Suu Kyi. He also famously called the Falkland Islands “the Maldives”, and succeeded in offending the whole of Poland when he referred to a ”Polish death camp” in World War Two.  (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – President Barack Obama’s efforts to significantly curtail U.S. nuclear weapons without seeking the proper Senate approval are at best misguided and worst illegal, sources tell Newsmax.

Obama is exploring opportunities to achieve the reductions in infrastructure and capability he seeks – including a drawdown to 1,000 weapons – without seeking the advice and consent of the Senate that international treaties require.

Efforts to push the boundaries of the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) with Russia are ill-advised, sources say. A proposal that seeks to achieve nuclear arms reductions outside the framework of New START, however, would run afoul of the law.

Numerous people are only just now becoming aware of the lucrative industry of “grievance”.  Despite the growth of income potential from grievance industrialists over the course of many years, most people never really paid attention to it.   The Zimmerman case brings an opportunity to deliver sunlight to the scheme(s).

George Zimmerman is, on paper, being prosecuted by the State of Florida, but the state is not really his prosecution – The State is merely facilitating a process created by, structured by, and afforded by the Grievance Industry.

As we have previously outlined Angela Corey was chosen by Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi because Corey needed some quick credibility with the African-American constituency.   Corey was one of the Campaign Managers for Bondi – so the relationship is quite sympatico.

Bondi was the prosecutor in another previously successful Grievance Campaign against the State, “The Martin Lee Anderson case“.   In the Anderson case, Trayvon Martin family attorney, Benjamin Crump, was also the lead civil representative for wrongful death claims by Anderson’s family.   In that case Pam Bondi and Benjamin Crump also cemented their friendship and quid-pro-quo arrangements.    Crump was out for money, Bondi needed political clout. WASHINGTON DC – Democrats are defending President Barack Obama’s provocative March 18 pick to head the Department of Labor, Tom Perez, by highlighting his Hispanic heritage.

“This morning: RNC autopsy warned GOP to improve Hispanic outreach. This afternoon: Senate Rs fight Hispanic nominee,” said a tweet from Sen. Harry Reid’s digital media advisor, Faiz Shakir.

Brad Woodhouse, the spokesman for the Democratic National Committee, broadcast a tweet from teachers’ union leader, saying “This is why GOP does so poorly with Latinos. Perez deserves better.” (more…)

(Daily Mail) Sunday evening’s episode of the History Channel’s hit series ‘The Bible’ threw up an awkward coincidence when viewers noticed that Satan bore a remarkable resemblance to President Obama.

Twitter exploded into life during the airing of the latest edition of the Mark Burnett-produced series with most noting the striking similarities between the 44th President and the devil played by actor Mehdi Ouzaani.

The show has been a surprise hit in the ratings, with the religious mini-series attracting 13.1 million viewers on Wednesday – topping television leviathan American Idol’s 12.8 million viewers on Wednesday.  (continue reading)

Today President Obama officially announced his selection for Labor Secretary, Tom Perez.

To call Perez a radical is to do an injustice to the term itself.  Tom Perez is a racial radical, a specific and intentional race based politico of the highest order.

Much of the information you will read about Perez will outline his warm affection to Islam in general, and to Sharia Law specifically.    That alone should be alarming to the casually interested.   But his ideological perspectives and his previous institutional activity within the Dept Of Justice should raise alarm levels to infinity.
