The White House released a statement yesterday regarding the brutal murder of the Coptic Christians in Egypt. Within the statement itself you’ll note the absence of the word “Christian” which continues the administration’s avoidance narrative:

WHITE HOUSE – The United States condemns the despicable and cowardly murder of twenty-one Egyptian citizens in Libya by ISIL-affiliated terrorists.  We offer our condolences to the families of the victims and our support to the Egyptian government and people as they grieve for their fellow citizens.  ISIL’s barbarity knows no bounds.  It is unconstrained by faith, sect, or ethnicity.  This wanton killing of innocents is just the most recent of the many vicious acts perpetrated by ISIL-affiliated terrorists against the people of the region, including the murders of dozens of Egyptian soldiers in the Sinai, which only further galvanizes the international community to unite against ISIL.

Piers Morgan pens a back-handed attack piece today regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s open call for Jews in Europe to return to the safety of Israel.
In essence Morgan is saying Netanyahu is fear mongering amid the European Jewish population to firm up his domestic electability.

Brian Williams didn’t just spew bald-faced lies from David Letterman’s couch. He lied repeatedly on the air at NBC News and its affiliates. He lied to NBC News legend Tim Russert. Stories Williams’ shared with NBC’s own Tom Brokaw both on the air and at Columbia Journalism school are now disputed. Things told to other reporters don’t add up.
Numerous accounts now verify that NBC News not only wanted Brian Williams out there building his brand with the likes of Jon Stewart, David Letterman, and Saturday Night Live, but that the NBC brass knew their star was a serial liar. WASHINGTON DC – Sen. John McCain said Sunday he opposes any ISIL war resolution that puts limits on the power of the president, saying on “Meet the Press” that such restrictions were “unconstitutional.”

I’m sure there will be more from Egypt’s Fattah al-Sisi in the next few days, he is not a person prone to knee-jerk emotional responses to crisis. Research into al-Sisi, and following him for several years, shows he thinks carefully, calls for counsel, takes immediate advice and then makes a strong decision and sticks with it.
That said, as you read this I must point out something in this Reuters example which highlights the bias inherent in Western media that slips past unless you have followed the nuances and details of any event/story. Check out this statement:

“U.S. backed government“, who does Reuters think they’re kidding?
The Obama administration openly disparages al-Sisi, talks negatively about him, spoke angrily against the removal of Muslim Brotherhood’s Morsi and didn’t even call Sisi to congratulate him on his overwhelming election victory. But Reuters says “U.S. backed”, because NOW it fits the narrative a strong Obama needs, unreal. I digress. (more…)

The people and groups now identified as “ISIS in Libya” are the same people and groups that Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power and Susan Rice determined back in 2011 to be “rebels” worthy of weapons, missiles and MANPADS to advance their cause.

The Coptic Christians executed today in Libya spent their last moments in prayer.

(Reuters) – Islamic State released a video on Sunday purporting to show the militant group beheading 21 Egyptian Christians kidnapped in Libya.
The Egyptians, dressed in orange jump suits, were beheaded after being forced down on the ground. The video appeared on the Twitter feed of a website that supports Islamic State. (more…)

One of the reasons why ISIS is continuing to call for the assassination of Egyptian President Fattah al-Sisi is because he is destroying the infrastructure terrorists need to carry out their plans.
Last July/August Egyptian military began destroying Hamas terror tunnels in the Sinai region and Gaza.   In a remarkable discovery hidden by western media a full ONE THIRD of all border homes contained terror tunnels into Gaza.  As a consequence of the scope al-Sisi ordered an expanded security perimeter and all border homes destroyed.
Today Egyptian media are reporting on another tunnel discovered, the size of it explains how committed the Muslim Brotherhood is to the destruction of Israel.  Unreal. 

EL-ARISH, Egypt – Egyptian security officials say they have found a 1.5-mile smuggling tunnel leading into the Gaza Strip, the longest such passageway discovered in their crackdown on cross-border smuggling.
They say the tunnel was operated by the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement, the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, which Egypt says is a terrorist organization that played a role in recent attacks against Egyptian security forces. (more…)

(Via Truth Revolt) This one might turn out to be the death blow for suspended NBC News anchor Brian Williams. Add his repeated SEAL Team 6/Bin Laden raid claims to the “dossier of lies” NBC must regrettably dig into to determine just how deep the “credibility” issues go.
Williams has claimed since 2011—to David Letterman, among others—that he embedded with SEAL Team 6 multiple times and had developed such a close relationship that one of them gave him a piece of the downed chopper from the famous Osama Bin Laden raid.
“We have some idea which of our special operations teams carried this out,” Williams said to Letterman May 2, 2011, the day after the raid. “It happens to be a team I flew into Baghdad with, on the condition that I would never speak of what I saw on the aircraft, what aircraft we were on, what we were carrying, or who we were after.” (more…)

(Via Daily Caller)  A Muslim student at the University of Texas, Arlington admitted she lied when she claimed that a man followed her to school on Wednesday and threatened her with a gun.
The student posted the claim on Facebook and made reference to Tuesday’s triple murder of three Muslim students in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Numerous Muslim groups are alleging that that shooting was a hate crime.
The UTA student claimed that at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday a white man driving a white pickup truck with a Texas flag on the antenna followed her for six miles to campus.
After arriving at the school, the student said that the man, who she claimed was wearing a camouflage baseball cap, got out of his truck, threatened her verbally, and then pointed a handgun at her.  (read more)
