OANN has released a post debate poll of debate “Winners and Losers” (available here).  Overall the majority saw Donald Trump as the biggest winner followed by Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.  Results below:

The same polling showed the biggest loser to be Jeb Bush, Rand Paul and John Kasich respectively.

Having sat through both the under card debate and the prime-time debate I would disagree a bit with the polling on the losers.  Lindsey Graham and George Pataki were the biggest losers of the first debate their unbridled, and often emotional, instability was on full display. (more…)

It is anticipated the CNN approach will be to frame everything around overt and covert attacks against the GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.

Toward that end it makes sense Chris Christie was placed in the prime-time debate as a GOPe/RNC tool.  If the debate qualifications to allow Christie into the prime-time debate had not taken place there would only have been 7 candidates on the stage with Donald Trump.  Both Christie and Rand Paul would have been bumped down. Despite almost everyone agreeing the GOP debates need to be trimmed to the top 5, 6, or 7 – CNN has decided, yet again, to put nine candidates on the prime-time debate stage and four remain at the lower-tier debate.

(Rand Paul previously hinted that if he was not on the prime-time stage he would withdraw):

(Via CNN) […]  CNN’s debate, which will be held in Las Vegas and is the fifth of the primary season, is the first to use early-state polls as a way to make the main event in prime-time. Candidates must meet one of three criteria in polls conducted between October 29 and December 13 and recognized by CNN: an average of at least 3.5% nationally; at least 4% in Iowa; or at least 4% in New Hampshire. Just announced:

…“We should have a temporary ban on refugees coming here until it’s clear that there aren’t any terrorists embedded.”

According to the latest CBS/NYT Poll (full pdf below) Trump has gained another thirteen points in his lead over all other Republican candidates since October.  Now standing atop the field with a lead more than double the second place candidate, Ted Cruz.

[*NOTE* CBS/NYT has only released the top-lines.  The rest of the poll results will be released tonight at 6:30 p.m.]

However, again the notation: these poll numbers were BEFORE Donald Trump’s proposal to halt Muslim immigration pending further review.   It is virtually certain, with all the other candidates standing in opposition to Trump on this issue, Trump’s polling numbers are significantly higher – even the progressive pundits admit this reality. New Hampshire – […]  The former Florida governor came ready to tee off on Trump in the wake of the furor surrounding the billionaire’s proposal.

He mentioned Trump by name only once in the town hall but scheduled a press availability afterwards — a scrum that was guaranteed to focus almost exclusively on Trump’s controversial plan.

Bush asserted that Trump’s proposal was a play for attention, telling members of the media:

….Trump is playing the media ‘like a fine Stradivarius violin’….  ~ Jeb!

Remember Mississippi ?

The professional apparatus of the Republican Party are signaling their intent to do exactly what we predicted they would do.   Trump will win the primary, and the GOPe will split the party to run an additional candidate in the general election.

It’s not Trump going third party – It’s the establishment GOP (GOPe) intending to go third party.   They are planning a modified version of the Mississippi Strategy from 2014.

In order to pull off the “Mississippi Plan” nationally, and specifically because of the ideological severity which will be obvious within their approach, the GOPe need to begin planting the seeds of intent now within the various camps they’ll need to support them.  We’ll explain.

Most people are unaware that back in 2014 conservative Senate Candidate Chris McDaniel defeated incumbent Republican Senator Thad Cochran in the Mississippi primary.  However, it was a three-way race and McDaniel didn’t get past the 50% +1 threshold.

McDaniel did defeat Cochran in the first Republican primary, meaning he got more votes, but a second run-off primary was required because the 50% threshold was not achieved.

Between those two primary races is when the professional apparatus within the GOP/RNC hatched a plan, and kicked the plan to action.    (more…)

He just keeps growing – and Growing – and GROWING.  A single candidate waging war against the entire political and media apparatus.  His simple objective: Put America First.

Donald Trump is absolutely crushing the field in the latest poll from South Carolina (full pdf below).  With an additional Fox caveat – Trump’s poll numbers are actually even larger, around 38%+, since his statement asking for a temporary pause on Muslim Immigration:

The entire media and political apparatus both Democrats and Republicans are in full meltdown mode over the scope of support Donald Trump carries.  Yet nothing they try has any effect on diminishing his support.

Donald Trump carries two golden arrows in his masterfully constructed quiver:

♦ The first is TRUTH – he always shines light upon uncomfortable truth – simple truth known by the electorate and yet hidden by those who benefit from power.

♦ The second is his agenda – Trump’s only agenda is what’s in America’s best interest. Period. Nothing further.

Unafraid of the Truth; unafraid to own the downside to all of his positions; and only thinking about what’s in America’s best interest – no other candidate can compete. (more…)

Wow – Now we know why the GOPe is in full blown panic mode.  The results from the latest WMUR/CNN Poll in New Hampshire (full pdf below) shows support for Ben Carson has fully collapsed, and Ted Cruz drops below John Kasich…. But it gets much, much worse for the establishment candidates.

The GOPe road map has totally collapsed in New Hampshire.  All of the GOPe splitters are now left picking leftover scraps from those voters who are in the undecideds:

Trump has forced upon the GOPe the absolute nightmare scenario – “the splitters are splitting upon themselves”.   Rubio, Bush and Christie combined cannot beat Donald Trump’s current level of support.

The millions spent by Team Kasich have garnered him a grand total of 7%; and the tens of millions spent by Jeb Bush only get him to 8%.  The granite state electorate are fully engaged and they are seeing through the GOPe establishment schemes.

The New Hampshire voters are also seeing through the convenient flip-flops of Cruz and have identified the reality of Carson’s inability. (more…)
