CIA Director John Brennan Appears On Fox News Sunday – And Missing Historical Puzzle Pieces Simultaneously Fall Into Place….

Sorry to go so deep on a weekend, but seeing Brennan broadcast in a 22 minute interview is enough to blow the blood pressure cuff:

I have never been more certain of something, yet simultaneously never able to prove it, as I am about two events. The first is that Jack Lew and the White House in 2010/2011 coordinated the DOJ attack, with Eric Holder, against political opposition using the IRS.

The second event is that journalist Michael Hastings was killed by the dispatch of CIA Director John Brennan.

BRENNAN-articleLarge-v2

Director John Brennan spent almost his entire formative career inside the CIA and intelligence community. 25 Years inside the CIA prior to 2008.

Mr. Brennan spent most of his C.I.A. career as an analyst, but during the 1990s served a tour as the chief of the CIA station in Saudi Arabia, the rumored financier of a now famous Harvard Law Review editor.

Prior to the 9/11 attack (from 1999 to early 2001) Brennan was chief of staff to George J. Tenet, the director of central intelligence, as the position was then called. At the end of that period of his C.I.A. service, in the world created by the patriot act and homeland security (2004 and 2005), Mr. Brennan set up what is now the U.S. Counterterrorism Center.

John O. Brennan, later became candidate Senator Obama’s top terrorism and intelligence adviser while also being owner of a company called  The Analysis Corp. (more…)

General Petraeus: “the foremost threat to Iraq’s long-term stability and the broader regional equilibrium is Iran”…

An excellent article in the Washington Post today includes written Question and Answer exchange with General David Petraeus after a recent re-visit to Iraq and the region.

david petraeusGeneral Petraeus: […] I think Iraq and the coalition forces are making considerable progress against the Islamic State. In fact, I would argue that the foremost threat to Iraq’s long-term stability and the broader regional equilibrium is not the Islamic State; rather, it is Shiite militias, many backed by — and some guided by — Iran.

These militia returned to the streets of Iraq in response to a fatwa by Shia leader Grand Ayatollah Sistani at a moment of extreme danger. And they prevented the Islamic State from continuing its offensive into Baghdad. Nonetheless, they have, in some cases, cleared not only Sunni extremists but also Sunni civilians and committed atrocities against them.

Thus, they have, to a degree, been both part of Iraq’s salvation but also the most serious threat to the all-important effort of once again getting the Sunni Arab population in Iraq to feel that it has a stake in the success of Iraq rather than a stake in its failure. Longer term, Iranian-backed Shia militia could emerge as the preeminent power in the country, one that is outside the control of the government and instead answerable to Tehran. (more…)

19 Tourists Killed By ISIS Aligned Jihadists In Tunisia – Former Epicenter of Islamist Spring…

TunisiaTunisia was the original economic and cultural tinderbox that ignited the 2010 “Islamist Spring” – as the Tunisian economy could not support the seemingly endless flow of N African nationals trying to reach Europe. When Tunisia’s Ben Ali and Libya’s Quackdaffy took the 2009 €5 Billion EU bribe to close the immigration gates it was only a matter of time before Tunisia erupted.  It took less than 2 years.

However, since their original cultural crisis, and removal of Ben Ali, Tunis has been trying to avoid getting pulled into the Islamist nightmare that has taken over neighboring Libya. Today an ISIS terror attack took place in the heart of the capital – 19 foreign nationals reported killed so far. ~ Details Developing ~

tunisia attack(Via Reuters) Gunmen in military uniforms stormed Tunisia’s national museum, killing 17 foreign tourists and two Tunisians on Wednesday in one of the worst militant attacks in a country that has largely escaped the region’s “Arab Spring” turmoil.

Visitors from Italy, Germany, Poland and Spain were among the dead in the noon assault on the Bardo museum near parliament in central Tunis, Prime Minister Habib Essid said. (more…)

Former U.S. Air Force Mechanic Arrested Trying to Join ISIS….

He was in the Air Force from ’86 through ’90. Converted to Islam in ’98, and worked for American Airlines in 2001….  Arrested in January, and only just now coming to light?

A Summary of facts from an ABC Article – A former U.S. Air Force veteran (1986-1990), Tairod Nathan Webster Pugh, 47, originally from New Jersey, was arrested several months ago by the FBI for trying to join ISIS.

pough - isisOn Jan. 10, he flew from Egypt to Turkey hoping to slip into Syria but Turkish authorities refused to let him enter their country.

Egyptian authorities then deported Pugh to the United States, where he was arrested by the FBI and found to be carrying multiple electronic devices, including a cell phone that allegedly contained a photograph of a machine gun. Some of the data on the electronic devices had been deleted, prosecutors say.

On his laptop, FBI agents discovered that he had been viewing ISIS propaganda online and conducting online searches for such phrases as “borders controlled by Islamic state,” “kobani border crossing,” and “who controls kobani,” according to prosecutors. (more…)

Obama Administration: “The United States has great respect for the religious importance of a fatwa”…

The White House says they have respect for Islamic religious fatwa’s, yet the same White House is suing several Christian organizations who don’t comply with the various constructs of the Obama decrees.  Think about that for a moment.

I saved this picture from an Egyptian news outlet because the look on Jordan’s King Abdullah is priceless….

(Via New York Times) The United States has “great respect for the religious importance of a fatwa,” Mr. Kerry told reporters during a visit to Egypt on Saturday, alluding to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s much publicized edict against the development of nuclear weapons. But negotiators, Mr. Kerry said, needed an agreement that would “guarantee that Iran’s program will be peaceful now and peaceful forever.”

Kerry in egypt 3-14-15

In congressional testimony last week, Mr. Kerry acknowledged what 47 Republicans wrote in a letter to the Iranian leadership last week — that any “executive agreement” like this one, made without a vote in Congress, would not be legally binding on future presidents. But neither are other “executive agreements,” including the diplomatic opening to China and the accord that rid Syria of many of its chemical weapons. The White House and Mr. Kerry argue that any future president is highly unlikely to rescind the accord, particularly if Iran is complying with its terms.  (read more)

Secretary John Kerry: “We are not negotiating a legally binding agreement with Iran”…

Which leads to the obvious retort from Senator Tom Cotton:

Secretary of State John Kerry, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Martin Dempsey testified today at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on President Obama’s request for authorization for use for military force (AUMF) against ISIS. -full hearing here-

However, Democrats strategically planted a question for Secretary John Kerry (by Senator Chris Murphy) to attack Republican Senators for their recent controversial open letter to Iran. Kerry had a scripted response for the question he was anticipating. Within that response was the startling statement/claim the White House is not negotiating a “legally binding agreement with Iran” to stop their nuclear weapons program.

If you are short on time watch this first video. However, if you have the 7 minutes to watch the entire response skip to the second video.

Radical Islamists Attack Secretary Kerry’s Jobs For Jihadists Program….

In 2013 Secretary of State John Kerry first promoted the Jobs 4 Jihadists program encouraging Western investment in Mid-East companies to stimulate the economies and create jobs for radical extremists. Last month State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf expanded on that belief and took considerable flak for promoting the position of her boss.

Reports are now surfacing that Jihadists are specifically targeting Western Companies for violence and attacks. This obviously could become problematic for Secretary Kerry’s jobs program.

Libyan FUBAR – John McCain’s Libyan “Moderate” Abdelhakim Belhadj Has Joined ISIS – Now Heads ISIS Through Libyan Dawn Construct…

Libya Banner 2

Few media outlets understand the scope of the Islamic alignment forces currently battling for control in Libya; even fewer try to report on them. A recent alarming report is now confirmed.

A man named Abdelhakim Belhadj has taken the position as head of ISIS in Libya. Abdelhakim Belhadj was critical in forming “Libya Dawn”, essentially a group of Islamic militia forces (LIFG or Libyan Islamic Fighting Groups) who fought under various banners such as Ansar al-Sharia (al-Qaeda in Libya) and the Muslim Brotherhood.

However, Abdelhakim Belhadj was also supported by the U.S. and more specifically Senator’s Graham and McCain in the lead up to the current crisis which no-one will call a civil war because of political fear – yet that is exactly what exists. Abdelhakim Belhadj taking the position as head of ISIS in Libya now all but guarantees Libya will be an Islamist Militant State.

[Via Counter Jihad] … Major news out of Libya as the former head of the Al Qaeda-linked Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, and a major player in the U.S.-backed overthrow of Mummar Gaddafi, has reportedly joined the Islamic State and is leading its forces there. This according to The Blaze National Security journalist Sara Carter on twitter, and Fox News’ Catherine Herridge in a Fox News report.
