[…] In 2000, the Centers for Disease Control had thought that measles were eliminated in the US, but starting in 2008, cases began to climb. In 2014, the number of cases exploded to over 600, more than all reported cases between 2009 and 2013. The CDC also reported that cases reached a 20-year high in 2014.
The CDC determined that the number of cases grew in the US due to an influx of foreign immigrants.
There is no treatment for measles once it is contracted. Patients should stay hydrated as they ride the illness out. Authorities say the only prevention is widespread vaccination. (link)
Eric Holder’s replacement holds the same, the exact same, legal world view as AG Eric Holder. Additionally, I find it interesting than none of the “Senators” find it valuable to ask for Lynch’s legal view on “Disparate Impact”. However, her view is evident in the answer to this question. The ideological point at the end of the perspective essentially outlines that it is unlawful to ask for the legal work status of employment applicants. This protects the illegal alien from employment disqualification, and bars the employer to finding out the legal work status. WASHINGTON DC – President Barack Obama’s nominee to replace Eric Holder as Attorney General of the United States, Loretta Lynch, said on Wednesday during a Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing that she thinks illegal aliens have the same right to work in America as American citizens do.
“Senator, I believe the right and the obligation to work is one that is shared by everyone in this country, regardless of how they came here,” Lynch said when asked by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) who has a greater right to work: Illegal aliens, or lawful immigrants and American citizens? (more…)
The willful blindness of the U.S. media is becoming a parody unto itself.
The outbreak of the Measles virus is gaining attention as medical reports begin to accumulate by the day. Yet, no-one in the legacy media claims to be able to see the similarity to the Enterovirus D-68 outbreaks.
So, again, let’s look at outbreak maps and compare: (more…)
Yesterday someone posted this story on my Facebook news feed. Checking on the internet, there are appearances of this same story a year ago, at least one website said that they had verified the insurance rates for the income parameters mentioned and, apparently, it was making the email rounds. I searched Snopes to see if it appears there, but did not find it. Don’t know who wrote this, but it seems to match reports that others have recounted about their experiences with the ACA state insurance exchanges. The information about health care provided for illegal aliens is particularly interesting. (more…)
I agree with everything this guy says about the Republican party and his sentiment, except the date. The date the principled conservative movement actually lost any hope of reforming the Republican party was May 20th 2014. This is the same exact date that Jeb Bush became the absolute guaranteed GOP candidate for 2016.
Everything between May 20th 2014 and November 8th 2016 is baked into the cake.
(Bell News) The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.
Over the past 40 plus years of life I have been fed the line that if a person doesn’t vote for the Republicans then the Democrats will win. Or if we start a third party it will split the vote and the Democrats will win. (more…)
♦ About 2,500,000 people visit The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York every year. The Last Refuge was viewed about 19,000,000 times in 2014. If it were an exhibit at MoMA, it would take about 8 years for that many people to see it. Click here to see the complete report.

It would appear the teddy bear and soccer ball crowd grabbed their goodies and disappeared into the 57 forests.
(Via National Review Online) Once again, local-TV investigative reporters are showing up their national counterparts.
Recall that this summer the administration insisted the thousands of Central American illegal immigrants it was waving across the border would be put into deportation proceedings and those who did not qualify for asylum would be removed. You’d think, then, that there’d be bigshot D.C. journalists interested in finding out how many actually bothered to attend their immigration hearings.
You’d be wrong. (more…)
Note, Jorge Ramos does not understand the framework of a constitutional republic. His only mental reference points are his experience living under a parliamentary dictatorship. He’s clueless about what co-equal powers of three branches of government means. He views the U.S. Presidency as omnipotent – and does not understand the President is merely one office, one branch, one third of power.
