You see, this is the mistake that ‘check box candidates‘ almost always make.  Senator Ted Cruz made this mistake when he snarkily opined about “New York Values“.
The binding material that makes us American is stronger than the national patchwork quilt referenced in the discussion therein.   The binding is stronger.  We either have a country, or we don’t.
Americans are more alike than we are non-alike.  Our brothers and sisters are in EVERY state, in EVERY city, in EVERY village….   That binding essence is why Donald Trump can draw a massive crowd in every state, region and town – from Florida to Washington State, and from Maine to Costa-Mesa California.  If you bind them, they will come vote… regardless of the media’s ideological definition of that state, region, town.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – Police are hoping someone can help identify two home invaders. They were caught on camera as a woman in the house shot at them. “She exercised her right to defend her livelihood and property,” Cpl. Deon Washington with the Gwinnett County Police Department told Channel 2’s Nicole Carr.

Surveillance video from inside the home shows the Gwinnett County woman rush from her bedroom and then unloads all her bullets on the three men who kicked in her front door.

According to Egyptian news media President Fattah al-Sisi will meet republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for the first time during his visit to New York for a scheduled U.N. General Assembly meeting.

Dear readers, we cannot adequately encapsulate the incredible potential, what is entirely possible, in our future if these two leaders can unify their demonstrably effective goals.  We’ll expand on that, but first, here’s the breaking news:

EGYPT – President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi is expected to meet US republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on the sidelines of his visit to New York, state news agency MENA reported.

Al-Sisi will arrive in New York on Sunday afternoon to attend the 71st debate of the United Nations (UN) general assembly.

Listed as Victim 0001 on his body bag, Father Mychal Judge became one of the most recognized images of the victims lost to us on September 11,2001.
Robert Emmet (Mychal) Judge was the son of Irish immigrants. He grew up in Brooklyn during the Great Depression, learning a love for the poor he was to carry with him throughout his life. He took the name Mychal upon entering the Order of Friars Minor in 1961.
In 1992, he became Chaplain of the Fire Department of New York. He worked long hours serving the firemen and their families, developing a love of his work and those he served, and they in turn made the priest a part of their world. He became a man known for ministering to society’s castoffs – the homeless, alcoholics and drug addicts, hungry, and those alienated by the Church. (more…)

Candidate Donald Trump attended funeral services for conservative heroine Phyllis Schlafly today in St. Louis.  Together with his wife Melania and the top two members of his campaign staff, Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway, Mr. Trump spoke briefly to the audience prior to funeral services.
